I participated in the promotion that signed the Disney + for $ 69.99 and received $ 12.5 back on 11/11/2020. I did the entire procedure as expected and a few days later I received the $ 12.5. In addition, for making a purchase over $ 40, I should also receive $ 40 cashback. However, it was short-lived. Soon they cashed out that $ 12.5 cashback with no explanation. In their place, they deposited $ 40 cashback, which also didn't last long and was soon withdrawn.

There was a promotion on Rakuten to refer other people and if they made purchases over $ 40 you and they would get $ 40 back. Well, I indicated two people who made the same purchase as me, from Disney +. As a result, I should have received $ 12.5 (my cashback for subscribing to Disney +) + $ 40 (my cashback for making purchases over $ 40) + $ 80 ($ 40 for each referral made and who made purchases as required).

All of the information mentioned above, I saved it in images and put it in an attachment. I tried several times to contact Rakuten to explain these problems, in the beginning, they answered me in one day, until then they simply stopped responding. In one of those emails, they said the cashback is only made for the USA and Canada. However, at the time I made the purchase, as well as my referred friends, other countries were also covered and I have proof that the procedure was changed AFTER we had made the purchases.

Having shown all this documented information to Rakuten all I get now are emails saying that my account is suspicious, that my account has been canceled, as well as that of my friends. This is a huge lack of respect. This is a fraud. This company has no ethics whatsoever in following its own words. Instead, they blame the consumer even if they follow all the procedures!

Shame on you, Rakuten, for the terrible and disrespectful work.

Rakuten (formerly Ebates) is an amazing cash back site! I have been using their services and cash back feature for the past 3+ years. They're highly reliable and timely in sending out the quarterly cash back checks. Even better, their customer service is top notch! Anytime I've faced an issue with a purchase or cash back, they have always resolved it for me promptly and to my satisfaction. I very much appreciate their responsiveness!

Long time user of this service, over the years many times the transaction didnt not record either site or software interaction. Money back is legit percentages can be sketchy and customer service though quick to respond provides little relief. I now document each transaction initial percentage offer and the Rakuten transaction acknowledgment incase issues rise later. With all of that it is still worth the extra effort with purchases that you were making anyway without a return.

No matter the issue I have with Rakuten, my experience is and has been a pleasant one. The Rakuten Team has resolved my issue and or issues in less than 24 hours. Tell your friends and have them tell their friends this way you all have extra money, and who doesn't like extra money? Rakuten Team you ROCK!

I wanted to personally thank the Rakuten telephone agent, Tanya, for her assistance with a cashback issue I had. From the very start of our conversation, Tanya was very personable and easy to talk to, she actively listened to the issue I had and wanted to help, and then she knew exactly how to tackle/resolve my particular issue.

In addition, I also had a several questions about Rakuten and their cashback program and Tanya was well-versed about the company's procedures by giving thorough responses. I learned a great deal from her and couldn't ask for a better customer service experience. Thank you Tanya - you were wonderful and I wanted to make sure others know as well!

I was in process of creating an order to be place with Macy's. Before I sent the order I remembered that Rakuten offered cash back when I purchase from Macy's. I stopped, I went into my Rakuten account and re-created the order so I'd get the cash back benefit. Much to my surprise the cost through Rakuten was more! The cost was higher than it was directly through Macy's. The price difference was just about what my "cash back reward" was going to pay me for shopping Macy's through Rakuten. I felt very much taken advantage of and have since unsubscribed. Buyer beware.

My daughter and I love Rakuten. I mean, who doesn't love getting cash back on purchases. I have had a couple hiccup, when money wasn't added. But they had fixed it immediately! They have excellent customer service too. In these hard times right now. I look forward to that extra cash to take the kids out for ice cream or fill up my tank of gas, completely, instead of half way, which is what I can afford down days. Sounds silly, but every little bit does help in my household. And I am so very glad this is an site that is as real as it says.

I always check to see if a company I want to buy from is on Rakuten's first! It's a no brainer to use Rakuten when shopping! I've earned well over $500 just by stopping by their website before making a purchase on another site.
