My original review is below and nothing has changed. Customer Service replied to this review and asked that I directly contact them at *******@radaris.com and that's one of the problems with this company. As mentioned in my review, my email has bounced back after I sent a message to this customer service email address. It's a circuitous process leading to no resolution.

Just like the other reviewers, I tried to remove my information by following their process. It's a blackhole. The "Control Information" doesn't work. It takes you to a dead end. Their customer service is email is fake. I sent a message to them and it bounced back to me, saying that it didn't recognize the domain/email. Really? That email company has been around longer than Radaris. I also tried calling their 1-800 customer service number, and again, a dead end. They put you on hold, only to ask you to leave a voicemail message, which they actually say they can't assure to respond back to. Yet, another tactic to collect your data. Radaris needs to go down!

They took my information without my permission and posted it on their site. I sent them a request to have it removed but they asked me to provide more information instead, which I refuse to do. I won't play their game. They can't just take people's information and post it without permission. They need to go down!

100% scam
May 20, 2020

I bought this service. When i used it the reports seemed to be incomplete. So I ran people that had been in prison, their reports said 0 criminal records. I did this with three people who had been in prison and no criminal report came back. I did the same with divorces. I ran people who were divorced, but no record of a marriage or divorce came back. I did the same with bankruptcies. None of the people who had filed bankruptcies had a bankruptcy show up. Same with a tax lien. I ran a guy I knew had a tax lien 6 years ago. Nothing showed up on his report. It appears to me that all this service will give you is name, birthday, recent addresses, neighbors and maybe a telephone number. If this is all you want, then this service will work for you. They advertise a deep search, but in my case they failed to deliver.

After contacting them back in Sept 2019 I received an e-mail from Radaris supplying me with a User ID number in order for me to create an account so that I could remove my information from their site. I made all of my info "PRIVATE" thinking that this would remove any and all of my info. Well, I suspect no one at Radaris understands the word "PRIVATE" because when I do a search of my name ALL OF MY INFO COMES UP WITHOUT EVEN CLICKING ON THEIR WEBSITE. It shows in the very first paragraph after I do a Google search. I tried e-mailing them and SURPRISE, SURPRISE their e-mail address is fake.

I am currently involved in a class-action lawsuit against MyLife.com and I have turned this information over to the attorneys handling that suit. It seems as though Radaris has had their share of problems also and won't comply with people who don't want their information shared with the world.

Hopefully, in time, we can have all of these scammers shut down.

Absolute Fraud
December 5, 2019

This site should be shut down. I finally had my information removed after several emails with their customer service. I sent them the URL and refused to jump through their hoops. I kept asking who my attorney should contact then they removed my information.

I am looking up my Senators and Reps and sending them links to their information and demand something be done with these websites that collect personal data to sell.

Over the past two years I've had paid monthly subscriptions to the following background check providers:

Been Verified
TruthFinder
Insta Check
White Pages Premium &
Radaris

Of the 5, I found the information on Radarias to be the most accurate and most exhaustive. Non of the other sites were able to provide information that Radaris didn't have but Radaris was able to provide information that was not available with the other sites.

In addition to the quality and accuracy of their information they provide, their customer service was outstanding!

After 3 months of a paid subscription I had obtained everything needed so decided to cancel my membership. Having had problems with my cancellation being properly cancelled by previous providers, I chose to phone on my cancellation request. I was so impressed with the fact that they simply processed my request without grief, questions, attempts to upsell or hidden loopholes! Additionally, after processing my cancellation, I was politely reminded that I still had 9 days remaining in my subscription and my account would be fully accessible for that time!

This has not been my experience with their competitors! Recently, I had unauthorized charge from Insta Check in the amount of $167.00 post to my account. I had agreed to pay $1 and signed up for their special promotion (more accurately a Bate and Switch!) that read: "$1.00 - 7 day free trial".
Not only was I unable to view the report due to technical issues, I was billed $167.00! I then spent the next hour on the phone with both Insta Check and my bank trying to get the unauthorized charge credited back to my account!

I would highly recommend Radaris to anyone looking for accurate, high quality and high volume background checks information.

I have not received any products good or services in exchange for this review.

According to Radaris, my long-lost friend was at his last known address from 2004 to 2019. I then did a Google search for his mother and found an obituary for my friend that was dated 1999.
Did it ever occur to Radaris to check death records?
I had my hopes up of getting back in touch. That hope is gone.

Of Women and others subject to predatory conduct. I looked up my own name and to my surprise (it afterall promises to surprise you) claimed in an "asset alert" that I had nearly $2 mil in assets! Where is that because that is news to me! I imagine this is to entice those researching a name to pay for the report.

Further it has me listed with a last name of a former boyfriend of over 20 years ago to whom I was never married.

I did not pay to obtain the report, what I saw gave me ample information to know this is a vicious website drawing people in to pay for obviously inaccurate and reckless reports.

I signed up for Radaris' $35 for one month plan that was supposed to provide unlimited background checks during that time. The terms of the agreement also stipulate that I pay that $35 every month for one year unless I cancel. Well, if you're anything like me, you've used a few of these services in the past. Every single previous service (unfortunately, can't remember names) that I used to look up a particular individual returned quite a bit of information about criminal activity, aliases, and so forth. Radaris had NONE of this information. I cancelled the plan the same day i signed up, so i'm out $35. Radaris sent me an email saying they would be glad to do further research on any individual, if I just GIVE THEM THE INFORMATION they need to look up. Huh?! No way. Run from these jokers.

This company needs to be shut down. They hide under a guise that a lot of information is "public" and therefore is "free" and is ok to just share publicly. Just because something happens to be on the Internet doesn't mean it's ok to take that info and publish it in a large file that anyone can see, especially identity thieves. For example, one big site they use is Linked-In. How do I know this? They have an entire work history of every place I've worked and the only other place I have this info is on Linked-In. I put my info on Linked-In for a reason. It wasn't an invitation or Radaris to take it and publish it on their site for whomever to see it. On Linked-In, if someone wants to see your data, they have to at least sign up. On Radaris, after they steal this info, anyone can see it for free on their site.

They also pretend to sell you a background record for a "discounted" $9.95 and then slam you with a charge several days later for $34, which if you don't know about it to cancel it will become a recurring fee that you never agreed to. They are tricky how they hide that when you agree to pay a one time fee of $9.95 for one file. I really believe that con artists run these company. What ever happened to company's having to be accountable for their actions?

Words can't express my frustration with the seemingly simple yet epic task of having my information removed. I've followed the steps, probably 30x over---sign in, verify name matches, enter my cell, then get a code. When I enter the code, an error message pops up, 'Error - Profile Controlled By XXX XXX. XXX XXX is me! Apparently someone 'claimed' or 'controlled' my profile. God knows it wasn't me or I would have deleted the profile.

I've sent countless emails with screenshots requesting a manual deletion since it's obvious that someone else 'claimed'/'controlled' my profile. And all I get back are form e-mails about the deletion process, which, again, I tried over 30x. But I can't delete/control if someone else has 'claimed/'controlled' it. If needed, I'd send a Driver's License image... anything that would make this (my Radaris profile) go away. Thanks for reading.

This is the second time within 2-3 weeks I have asked this site to remove my personal information. I went there to find out it's right there again after I emailed them requesting to have it removed.

Prior to this when I saw I had a profile there, I created an account to "control" what was visible to the public only to find out that a few weeks later my profile was showing everything I was trying to hide.

You really CAN'T take your info off there no matter what you do, they will keep putting it back up. I really hope they go down in the VERY near future as a company. Absolutely horrible. It is also worth noting here that I have successfully removed my profiles with NO I problems from approx. 20 similar websites.

Radaris is continuously committing fraud and obviously believe people will tolerate it. I have attempted so many times to remove my information from their site, but to no avail. There is NO way to opt-out from Radaris, although Radaris insists one could opt-out by "taking control" of their profile. I have made an account and claimed my profile and so many times, attempted to "take control" of my information, yet, Radaris negligently and deliberately makes it impossible. One should not have to jump through so many hoops to opt-out. There should be a simple and normal way to opt-out as many other sites have provided. Yet, Radaris is deliberately making it impossible, but claiming it's possible.

This company is a front. Total fraud.

If you've had you ID stolen you'd understand my frustration. Even the free pieces of information they offer publically, THIEVES can piece together missing information from other similar sites. There is NO REASON to publically post anyone's birthdate - this is something you CAN'T change! Then someone gets your SSN... what's the 2 things you're always asked - even when speaking to.the credit bureaus? DOB & SSN. What a joke. If your product is so outstanding, why entice to the public bits and pieces of information they don't need to know? I can go on forever, but I'm not done with these sites. I've gone through he'll last 6 months, but have fought diligently enough to prevent any damage to my credit - knock on wood. But forever have to live FOREVER with the knowledge there are people out there with all my pertinent information. Seriously invasion of rights and privacy. Have just heard the beginning from me, I will put every bit of energy and more into changing these company's policies on providing information free for public viewing.
