STAY AWAY! Do not use! Website uses deceptive billing and automatic renewal subscriptions. Check into your billing options and CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION effective immediately. I feel stupid that I fell for this trick and it was costly for me.
Misguiding prices, hidden fees, completely unclear on payment options. My account auto renewed without my consent and EVEN THOUGH I WAS NOT USING THE SERVICE they would not offer a refund. Buyer beware! There is a reason most reviews give it 1 star!
Website completely unclear about pricing and plans! It tricks you into thinking it's all free and later deactivates QR codes you already printed and you have to pay to reactivate them.

This product is a complete SCAM and I am going to share my experience with you so you can avoid the big mistake I made by subscribing to this service
First when you signup, it mentions "Test all features for free and without obligation for 14 days. Then change to our Free, Starter-, Advanced- or Pro-Plan." but there is NO FREE PLAN AT ALL and the cheapest "Starter" plan costs 60 Euros per year!
Then when I realized that I had to pay so that my QR code continues to work I thought I could easily unsubscribe but when finally I found the unsubcribe bottom in the account - my account - billing sections I could not cancel it because it asked to type password and I had no password as I used social login to connect... I checked my saved credit card and noticed it will expire before renewal so I thought it should be ok subscription will not renew but I was wrong. Subscription has been renewed and I received an email asking to update credit card information
I contacted the support explaining the case and that I used it once for 29 scans. They were completely unhelpful, they kept saying that the Terms and Conditions state that contracts renew on a yearly basis unless the renewal is cancelled prior to the renewal date...
Stay away from this company, it's a complete SCAM, hidden price, hidden terms and conditions and completely overpriced

I didn't even know we were using their QR code, in fact, an employee seemed to have ordered it for some project last year. This employee hasn't been with us for 10 months. I had no idea we were using this. I also did not get a single email from this QR code company that we had a subscription that would auto-renew. Which IMHO is shady in itself. Most every subscription we have with a third party notifies us ahead of that our card will be charged on XX date.
Anyway, when I saw the charge, I immediately notified them. I should have disputed it with my bank when it was in "process mode", but regrettably I did not. And this QR compay of course conveniently waited 2 days to get back to me (so the process would be complete) before they told me there is no chance they will refund, no matter if I knew of this service or not.
It's simply their policy.
Disappointing as I just spent like $190 on a service I haven't even used, and they know that to be true. But hey, we reap what we sow.
Do a google search for QR code generator, go with a competitor. I haven't used this companies tool to know if it's good, but I can tell you their ethics aren't. And if that is true, you can just imagine how they may be.

In this day an age we all sign up for services that we may later regret but that is our responsibility not the suppliers. However most online services companies, after taking your money in year one, will act reasonably if you forget to cancel the auto renew and will allow you to cancel your second year without penalty. I forgot to cancel before the auto Renew and that's my fault not theirs. But only by a week. I have not used their service for over 11 months but no pleading helps. They quote you their terms and be damned if you are hoping for a more understanding customer centric response. I don't think they scammed me they just don't give a damn about anything; not even the damage from lack of flexibility.

I'm a User Experience designer and Internet Marketer by trade and this website is purposefully designed to pin people into a corner and force them into payment by purposeful withholding of pricing information, and through a user-experience design that hides the free offerings in the creating process and in the account signup process. Customer support did nothing to help even though they know what they're doing is intentionally deceptive.

I can confirm the review that other people did. They make you think that this is free. IT IS NOT! They will deactivate your qr code after 14 days.

In other reviews, you can read what the company is. I was also fooled. I have printed the leaflets with this code and are now useless. There is no unambiguous information that it is a 14 day version.

Run a scam, stay away from this company. They lead you to believe that their product is free but once you place all your "Free" QR codes all over your advertising material, two weeks in, they will tell you that you need to pay or they will close your account. Scammer!

I was duped into paying for a full year or $160 for this service! I thought I was paying $12 for a month to try it out and then got charged for a full year. When I emailed the company to get credited I got no response. I tried to cancel through the website -- but there was no way to do that. I finally found a phone number and called and they said I had to pay for a full year, so sorry. I am going to pursue the dispute with my credit card company. But what a shame that they resort to such tactics instead of charging a fair price. Stay away!

Don't get stuck with this SCAM company! Purchase a QR Code a few years ago and now get a bill to renew that I have tried to cancel, had know idea that it was an auto renew product that I can't seem to get out of disputes numerous emails!

Like almost everyone who has contributed here, the QR Code Generator company is just another pathetic scammer, out to fleece any unsuspecting customer. The company is fraudulent and needs to be treated with disdain and contempt. There are other sites, some offering a free service, but which are evidently honest in their dealings. The scammers need to be called out as business dishonesty is a growth industry. Unfortunately, it is affecting the whole idea of QR Codes and could eventually make the technology redundant. You get the feeling that everything is free but then your QR codes get expired after 2 weeks.
They will disable your QR code and ask you to pay for activating the code again.

I like many others in this review site was tricked into having to pay for the service. I had made a QR code of which I sent to print to then find out I need to start paying a year later after this robbery I get charged an auto renewal of which (my fault) I forgot about. When I contacted them for a refund the next day they said they cannot refund it as each account incurs costs per year the money is non refundable.
Very sneaky tactics - 60 a year btw
