I went to a verizon store in big spring texas to replace my screen protector. It was 15 minutes till close they out it on and I got outside. I left and that's when I noticed it had like a bubble on bottom of screen not allowing me to unlock my phone. Took phone case off and when I did the whole protector came off with it the store refused to replace it unless I registered with this pure gear place. Cool. I register and what not 4 weeks ago. Have not got a registration number back or a response and I've emailed multiple times asking about when I'll be approved or how long it takes to be approved cause I didnt just spend $50 to have it fall off 15 minutes later.
Bell Canada, stop using these folks as a supplier, they actually make you folks look terrible. The product is actually ok (but there are a number of similar ones that do the same job), however, the level of service is awful. Try getting a reply to an email question... nothing. Try getting a hold of a customer service rep... nada. Either they don't have enough people, or they have such a terrible product that they are inundated with calls and emails... either way it's not good..
If you happen to buy one of their products, good luck with getting a timely response if you submit a Warranty Claim by email! I certainly will not be buying any of their products in the future. If you want further proof of their poor level of standing behind their products and lack of Customer response, read their review by the Better Business Bureau (BBB).
What a piece of garbage this company is pushing the warranty cost as much as the purchase price lasted less than 24 hours
ATT should be ashamed of themselves for pushing this disreputable company. Their warranty is worthless. The screen cracked and a replacement cost almost as much as the original. What a scam. And, a terrible product. Do not buy!
I am flabbergasted that Freedom Mobile pushed us to buy this garbage. We fell with the promise of the "lifetime warranty". Sure enough, the glass broke three days after buying it and when we went online for the replacement, we found out that the "shipment" would cost $11. Gotta be kidding! That's what this thing costs in Amazon with free shipping included. DO NOT BUY this nonsense.
I overpaid for this product at Verizon Wireless. But the sales rep assured me that when I went to replace the screen, it would be completely free- no shipping costs, like with other companies. However, when I went to replace the screen, S+H was 9.99. I emailed PureGear and they told me I'd have to pay it. I fumed for a little and then decided to go ahead and buy it. When I went to re-order the screen, S+H had gone up to 11.95. This is not a lifetime warranty. This is you repurchasing their product at its value.
I forgot I had purchased the screen protector for my Samsung Note 8 2 years ago and gave up after many attempts. I just purchased a tablet from Verizon and the my memory was just bolted. It's impossible to register the product. This is a scam! We need to go after Verizon!
I received a gift of a pure gear Steel 360 with a pledge with a lifetime warranty as a Christmas gift for my new iPhone 11. Harder to install then some other brands but the problem was registering for the warranty. The registration online form demands a copy of the sales receipt. So I called twice with a voicemail promises that I would receive a return call. But I should mention that prior to the calls, I emailed then twice. Yep, you got it... no response to messages or calls. Got a rep yesterday to answer the phone and she said, nothing could be done if I did not have a receipt. A manager they called me back and said... we only do the pure pledge/warranty if you have a receipt because we only want you buying from only authorized dealers. Well, I have the box with all sorts of numbers UPC-EAN and their special 7 digit ID. I would never favor this company because in checking this Steel 360 screen protector is more expensive then most and God forbid, you got it as a gift... Warranty really!
This is the email I sent to Pure gear management on: 2019-10-29 3:59 PM
Attention Supervisor / Management,
I have registered a Screen Protector for an I-Phone 7 + and an I-Phone 8 +. I have tried to order a replacement for both, due to cracking, online and when I went to checkout it wants to charge me $24.95 USD shipping and handling for each one. I had one replacement back on Feb. 28,2019 and was changed $9.95 USD which was a reasonable price. I have called and left several messages and no one has ever returned my calls. Please have someone call me so can get 2 ordered and billed at $9.95 S&H.
The adhesion on one corner would not stick. Tried for six weeks to get them to honor the Lifetime Warranty.
No response. The protectors are junk!
Purchased at a Verizon store when getting new phone. Paid $44.99 each for two of them on 12/21/2019 and as of yesterday 1/16/19 both are cracked. Not even going to bother going through the warranty process based on the other reviews. Expected the Verizon store to carry reputable good quality accessories - sadly I was wrong!
I ordered a replacement screen protector for my phone on December 21 and was expecting it 7 to 10 business days later. However, I called January 8 and they had not even verified my payment. I didn't even get a confirmation email until a day later, and they offered no compensation for them messing up. Save yourself the trouble and just use a different brand screen protector; I will definitely not be using Pure-gear anymore.
It was sold as a strong protector with lifetime warranty. It is a scam. I paid $40 for mine and two weeks later it was broken. I tried to execute the warranty and they asked for $10 for shipping and handling. I paid the $10, and I got the wrong protector. I called and sent e-mails and after weeks trying I finally had someone who sent me the wrong protector again! After 20 e-mails back and forth I went back to the store and the AT&T store manager told me they have had the same issue so many times that they stop selling that brand! DO NOT BUY PURE GEAR PLEASE! With my previous iPhone I had a $10 protector from Amazon and lasted 3 years and still intact! I FEEL THEY STOLE MY MONEY!
I recently just bought a new phone last week and decided to get a screen protector along with it to prevent any serious damage to my phone. This "screen protector" cracked within few days of me having my phone. Didn't think placing your phone down on your dresser can cause the screen protector to crack like it did. I can only imagine the damage it would have done if I actually dropped it. Don't waste your money on this product. Invest in a better quality screen protector! The warranty is not even worth it considering it's not free!
Paid more than we should have for 2 screen savers at our ATT store. I thought the lifetime warranty would make it worth the cost -- NO. My screen has cracked and when I went to the website to file a claim, I find that the shipping/handling is $11.95. I'll just buy one locally. I will not be buying Pure-gear products again.
Its the worst quality that I have ever seen. The screen protector chipped within 2 months! And when I wanted to claim a replacement it asked me $11.95 for shipping! Such a waste of money :(
Impossible register one product and screen protector it's a trash come out it self if you want your replacement $11 shipping
What's the point pay for something that dont work and there willing to give u 100 dollars for a screen that cost 300 dont waste your time dropped my note 9 screen broke easily and all the bs for 100 bucks note worth it dont buy this product
Answer: No product received no way to connect them. PAId FOR SHIPPING ALSO
Answer: SCREEN PROTECTOR CRACKED. THEY IGNORE ME, I CANNOT GET REPLACED. TRYING FOR OVER 6 MONTHS. WARRANTY EXPIRES FEB. 2020. I WILL NEVER BUY PRODUCTS FROM PUREGEAR.
Answer: It won't be. I hope you didn't pay the shipping fee because you won't see that either. Consider forgetting about it or possibly editing your review to reflect your current situation with their customer service. Consider also putting pressure on the place where you bought it to stop supporting an expensive product that doesn't do what it's being used for.
Answer: PureGear does not honor defect products and ignores submitted warranties. NO REPLACEMENT, ON RESPONSE. PureGear does not answer telephone number 1-877-570-4327 AFTER HUNDREDS OF PHONE CALLS. RINGS ONCE AND HANGS UP. ANYONE SELLING THEIR PRODUCTS IS IN COLLUSION WITH PUREGEAR.
