After three day of sending some cards, I decided to cancel during the free trial period. I firmly believed that I cancelled my subscription but saw that I was charge so disputed it with Citi.com. Citi says that I have to provide pertinent documentation. At this point all of my documentation is gone aince it has been more than a month.

The web search result said it was free, but it's only a free 7 day trial then they charge you $40. That's not free.

They'll let you get through making your entire card before the final step, when it asks you make an account. You make an account, and then realize it didn't save your card. So annoyingly, you'll go back to remake your entire card, and then the final step this time will be to start their free trial or buy a subscription package. Great!
I know this is not an uncommon business practice but I've just had enough of it. Only two stars because the site was designed well.
Also, looks like two of the subscription packages don't even remove advertising. You get to pay up and still get to have ads on your card. Wow. And looks like this site requires you to make an account as well, lol. Never had needed to do something out of spite just in spite of something else. Time for tempmail again

I sent out my daughter's birthday invitation using punchbowl last night. For some reasons I can only login to my account through the website but not the app. What is going on? Is it a trick for force me not to be able to cancel the membership until the party is over? I used the exact same login with no problem on the website but it kept on saying trouble logging in when I tried to do it on the app! I feel cheated.

I'm not really sure why anyone would love this. I did the free trial and got charged (because I forgot, so that's my fault) $60 annual fee. I decided it would be fine since it had invitations and I could use it for other things. I cannot send out invitations without upgrading for EVEN MORE MONEY. What a joke. It's already digital, meaning it has no real material cost. $60 should be more than enough for what they're offering. I can't stand it. I would not recommend it to anyone.

They say you can cancel your membership within 7 days and you won't be charged. So I went ahead with sending my daughter's birthday invite. When I tried to cancel, it said I would no longer be able to manage the rsvp's. So I'm forced to keep the subscription until her party, which means paying for an entire year's membership. What a scam. I will never use Punchbowl again and I hope this review is a warning to everyone else.

I purchased a membership hoping for a month by month payment plan and did not realize I had signed up for an annual one. When asked to give feed back I mentioned that I was a disgruntled about paying for the full year when I intended to use it just for one occasion. The CEO quickly responded and refunded me the 11 months. I was not even asking for a refund but they gave me one anyway. This is the first time as a customer that an issue communicated in the feed back form was personally addressed by the CEO and so quickly, was very impressed.

They have her spend her time under the impression that the service is free with ads until she hit "send invitation". That's when you find out that all your time has been wasted if you don't join a minimum $6.99/month program. Sure, you can cancel anytime, blah blah blah - but they can f*- off as far as I'm concerned with that type of tactic.

I was initially attracted to the website for their colorful and fresh card templates but after subscribing to a membership I saw that this additional fee was unnecessary. The annual cost for the lowest level membership is $35.88. This level allows only 10 cards per month. (No problem though, the card selection is so poor it would be impossible to find 10 cards to send) After a considerable amount of time finding an acceptable card, the decent customization options offer a bit of hope. Unfortunately, hope is short-lived. The card is finally finished and ready to be scheduled for sending at a later date. But wait, scheduling is only available if the membership is upgraded to the next level. Add another $12. Bottom line, punchbowl.com is a dreadful experience. DO NOT waste money by joining. There are other ecard sites that are far superior at a lower price. Also, be cautious of the signup process. It is extremely misleading!
