Look elsewhere for appliance repair! These guys will rip you off. I had a technician come out to the house. He didn't say a word. He pulled the fridge apart, looked at some things, rewired a relay switch in the back, and put everything together. He said it would take overnight for the fridge to cool down, but it WILL work. He then asked me to pay for the repair. $400! Never did he go over the price before doing the repair or mention the possibility that this was not the actual repair that would fix the fridge. Come a day later, and the fridge did not cool down. I called the company and they said the technician did everything right! What, not repairing anything is right? They refused to refund me or fix the problem. Not the way to run a business.
Obinna is by far the best home services technician I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He was very helpful and went out of his way to provide recommendations and assist with very tough TV installations. I was very pleased with his effectiveness and overall knowledge. He puts the client first and has a clear commitment to make sure that the customer is happy.
Obinna will definitely be used for other services in my home after this experience.
Forgot to hang up. Laughed at me. Asked if has license, they said why would u ask me that. Didn't make my appt when they said I don't have your appt. Very very shady company. Do not use this shady company. Sooooo unprofessional!'
Puls claims to have same day/next day service technicians. I waited two hours and my technician never showed or called. Also, their website does not have a customer service number to report incidents or problems. You must send an email and hope someone responds. TERRIBLE WASTE OF TIME!
Make you sign a contract before working. Compete rip off DONT USE THEM. I feel sorry for the technicians they emploe
I contacted Puls to repair my oven that wouldn't turn on- malfunctioning "door lock" button. I chose Puls as they had same day service -- big mistake. I should have looked for these reviews & gone with a local company! Didn't realize they weren't local. The technician came out the same day, spent only a few minutes behind the oven & said he needed to order parts & would be back. He didn't really explain the problem -- just showed me the hand-held electronic invoicing machine & said he would try to save me money by not charging as much for labor. He came back a few days later (after cancelling once) and fixed the problem. It only took him about 15 minutes & I was charged nearly $500 for parts & labor - he charged $155 for extra labor! The worst part is minutes after he left, I get TWO phone calls from customer service asking me to pay the invoice. I was busy & it slipped my mind. The next day I get a text from the technician saying "please pay the invoice otherwise I have to retrieve the parts or the legal way." OMG. What kind of company is this? It's okay for them to cancel appointments but they want their money NOW! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! And after reading these reviews I'll need to monitor my credit card so they don't falsely charge me for a membership which I didn't agree to. Lesson learned.
Had an emergency on my Samsung refrigerator that stopped working after Duke outage, the company send Richard at same day. Excellent job, fast, customer service. 5 stars. Got faster service than Samsung offered.
These people are very deceptive, misleading, thieves, be aware of their lies and their fake invoices, they are garbage people
Don't use their service, they will deceive you into signing a subscription without your knowledge, and when you find out they will hit you with a cancellation fees worth $85.76, make you pay monthly fees that you didn't sign for, they are very expensive, and they don't fix your problem, I had a very bad experience with them, they are thieves, unprofessional, and a garbage company
The tech that came in was very unprofessional, without even touching the unit he gave a diagnostic. I will never use this company again.
In December 2022, our dryer went out. We were told it was the heating duct, and he had to order the part and then came back to put it in and it worked, we even tipped... Yesterday 4/20/23 our dryer was doing exactly as it was the first time. He came back and told me it was...the heating duct that HE replaced. Ummm how did it go out AGAIN just as our "90-day warranty" expire? Now we are having him (yes, this has been the same guy) fix it again as we already paid before I got on and viewed the reviews. However, I am now looking for another place as I am SURE in a few months. It'll go out again. At almost 400 each time. We could have put that towards a new dryer. -Not Impressed-
They sent a technician to my house who charged me for service and parts then never showed back up. After following up with Puls they refused to reimburse or follow up on any way.
PULS is a broker type company aligning 'technicians' with customers in need of assistance with their broken appliance.
With that, you have a complete spectrum of 'technicians' that PULS 'dispatches' to your location. NONE of them carry ANY parts so do not think your appliance will be fixed when they leave. The $89 you spend on the service call is for that visit. Meaning,if you do not approve the quote immediately when provided by the tech at your house, the next service tech that comes to install the part that get ordered, and delivered to your house, charges you another $89. That's because PULS is a broker, not an appliance repair company.
My tech didn't have the proper tooling and did not know how to remove shelving or the doors to my fridge so he broke one of the plastic shelf arm retention clips (no, he did not offer to fix or replace it). He also needed assistance interpreting the schematic diagram (he thought it was a wiring diagram). I helped him to understand symbology, circuitry, and where to measure voltage and continuity. I should have been paid the $89!
Nice kid though. Everyone has to 'begin' somewhere so I didn't mind helping him out, just disappointed that I paid $89 to a 'technician' that needed my assistance.
Oh, I found the part I needed at a local appliance store for 10% cheaper than what PULS was going to charge me and I did the job in an hour, saving myself the $283 fee for the tech to replace it.
Charged me $600 for a repair that told me was going to take hours of work and be very labor-intensive so I agreed. When the technician arrived on site, it took him three minutes to pop the part in. Additionally, the part he ordered was double the cost of the market value. I complained to managers, and they did nothing to reimburse me. Do not use the service. Insanely overpriced! And the technician was rude and combative.
Serviceman examined the leaking hose and patched it with my waterproof "Gorilla Tape". The repair quoted at $98 was billed at $245. No details of the work involved but many promises of warranty.
The serviceman was of Turkish nationality and could not converse or communicate by email or text. There is no access to the headquarters: no phone, email, text, or any manner to request help or access their warranty.
They are a scam,
We purchased an 8 drawer dresser, a 6 drawer dresser and 2 nightstands from IKEA and booked with Puls to assemble. My husband laid out all materials and the instructions for the assembler. The night before our appointment, he called to cancel and change days. On the new scheduled date, he arrived promptly and that's where the good news ends! This person started the job at 10:30 am and did not complete it until 8:30pm, of which my husband put the two nightstands together-I assisted with putting the drawers together for the dresser. He didn't have a clue on how to put the items together. He even called a friend to ask for help and was watching YouTube to learn how to assemble. He claimed he didn't have all the materials needed which was a lie because my husband did an inventory of all items when he laid them out. He was unskilled, unorganized and extremely slow. Upon completion of one of the dressers, the drawer didn't even open & close properly. I requested he fix it before leaving, which he did but as long as he took, it should've been pristine. He apologized for the inconvenience though. I did not tip. I think Puls needs to do a better job of screening people, especially for the high price point. This job cost $545 & he gave 100 off since he didn't do the nightstands or most of the drawers. HA!
Came to my home and said he never worked on a oven before started watching youtu.be videos and asking me questions...ordered the parts and returned 3 days later and asked if I could help him get the oven out the wall then discovered he ordered the wrong part and was trouble shooting from 3 hours until I said leave and return with the proper parts. He was supposed to return Saturday and no phone call or response to my text...extremely poor business
This company is a total scam. I highly recommend not using them as they will just take your money and not provide any actual service.
I used this service to repair a dryer. Unfortunately dryer was left in pieces after a technician supposedly diagnosed the problem but never came back to actually fix it after charging me $133.
Worst experience ever from a service company from the technician to their customer support and software.
Biggest failures
- Appointment was scheduled and cancelled 10+ times without any calls or notifications. Wasted several days waiting for someone that never showed
- Called customer service about technician missing appointments to come back and fix dryer. Was told they would review with manager and call back but never did.
- Application is junk. Doesn't actually do anything
Don't use them! The repairman called me two hours after his stated arrival time and said he was unaware that he had this appointment and moved it to another day. On the rescheduled date when he had not showed within two hours after the appointed time, I called the company and they said he was sick and would not make it. I can't rate their work because I never got it done. Two days off my life I will never get back.
Puls used unprofessional technicians to install TV mounting on a wall. The technician bent an HDMI cable head in order to connect to the TV accordingly damaging the HDMI which is embedded in the wall. They sent another technician who did not have an instrument to check the continuity of an HDMI cable. The technician just bent the cable back and did not do any repairs to the cable. They damaged my property and did not repair it.
They signed me up for some plan I wasn't aware of and have been draining my account since. When I tried to Stop it, they wouldn't reimburse me. I used them 3 x's and now this night mare. Be careful!
