I abhor Public Storage. They stole my money and treated me unfairly in time of great need. Their facilities are in poor shape and prices too high. The management is pathetic and poorly trained. Extra Space Storage is a much better option with professional staff.
I've had one of the most pleasant experiences with customer service that I've had in a long time. Ms.Kielwanng returned my call with a pleasant and friendly voice. Then she proceeded to help me determine what my needs were by physical showing me various storage sizes. She did and excellent job with answering my questions and explaining the contract. I would like to commend her patience and positive disposition. Thank you Ms. Kielwanng for your kind service.
I went to get into my storage unit on Thanksgiving day to get some clothes to wear to my family dinner and was locked out. I know I owe one late fee, but I was still able to get into my unit till Thanksgiving day. I called and was spoken to very rudely even though they was probably enjoying a nice meal with their family in clean clothes. They could care less that not only are we homeless for the holidays, but now we can't even get to our clean clothes so we can enjoy dinner with our family. This place is like the Grinch and doesn't have any compassion especially for the holidays!

Lori, at the Illinois Rd. Storage facility, is a true diamond. Her personal attention to detail, professionalism, and outgoing personality, help make this moving experience a rewarding endeavor. She made sure our unit was clean, and gave us a thorough introduction to the Public Storage world. I don't give recommendations lightly, because I feel we have an obligation to our peers to be honest. So when I say she was awesome, I really mean awesome. I would highly recommend Lori and this facility if you are in need of storage space.

The new purchase ownership transition had existing customers over a barrel still coming out of pandemic limitations. Public Storage raised prices with impact---mine increased by $50. I am a senior citizen relying on social security received the third Wed of the month. I am therefore forced to pay a punitive late fee every month until I can get help to relocate. All Storage offered a change due date form for its customers. Public Storage does not. It is a terrible way of doing business trying to recoup Covid losses on the backs of current customers struggling under the weight of exploitive fees with no consideration otherwise. A sad testimony to the company, its policy and its leadership.

Honestly never coming back here again, all the chargers I buy never work! It charges my device then it stops and it repeats I brought nails one time. I looked at the price tag it said for 3 dollars so I brought them because they're cute cheap and I like them right. Tell me why after it said on the thing that tells you how much money you owed for the iteams n stuff it said 10 dang dollars and I told the cashier if it was plus tax she said "no it's not bye!" Like miss gurl honestly the worst customer service Ever! And I do not mean to sound like a b word that's ungrateful and complains about something every 5 minutes I really don't recommend going here. Vincifx and Sepehr Heidarian took away £15,000 from me. I had to phone them every day for three months. He was giving my stupid excuses like ""my account has been frozen"" or ""I am under investigation for money laundering"". I told him if he doesn't return my money, I will go to the police for fraud. Only then, she he saw the police might get involved, he returned my money. So the whole ""my account was frozen"" story was a lie.
My 10 x 20 unit went from $117 to $173. Along with my other units increases 40 - 50%. At Public Storage, Rochester Mi. This is price gouging. And NO SECURITY for the door was wide open for 5 weeks & anyone to drive in & have access to your unit. Which was also broken & wide open for 4 mths about 5 mths ago.
Dirt blowing in & geese were in there. Bugs was on my new clothes. Bugs all over around the windows & floor. No paper towels ever & hand dryers been broke for over a year.
They say rent increases every 6 months. They should cut rent in half for all mths with NO Security. This is on Avon industrial drive. Rochester, mi.
Michael the manager is trying to do his best under the circumstances. & is a plus to the company. Hard worker & friendly to all customers. Twice i tried to include pictures of bugs & open broke door. But then this site kept closing
Kim at the East brainerd Public Storage was amazing! She showed me around the property, answered all of my questions, and walked me through every step of the process. With this being my first time using a storage facility it was a great experience!
I had to move some things in to my storage and had purchased on the first day well on the way to the storage my phone dies. Unable to have the access code or unit number. Mr Ron came to my rescue. You talking about someone so frustrated this man went above and beyond to make sure that I gained access to my storage I am so grateful that you employed this gentleman please this is the kind of person you want running your show. Mr Ron you were so kind, patient, and your unwavering spirit and attitude makes me believe that there are some wonderful people in this world from the bottom of my heart thank you
I'm a customer many years. Today, 9/18/22 I needed to remove some items from my storage unit. No carts were visible so I went into the office and Larry was very courteous and he rounded up a cart for me. That is super customer service. I fully recommend the Spanish River Public Storage facility. Richard
I was moving my stuff into the storage area that was available. I literally lived across from the storage at the time. The mover ended up charging me way more then I anticipated and because of it I was embarrassed the price they quoted me was way less but ended up charging me more Reina Fuentes extended her hand out to me because she wanted to help she didn't give it a second thought and it was her last i didn't wanna take it but I knew it was from her heart. What a special person this young lady is I was able to resolve the issue. With a little act of kindness that I didn't expect.
I pay on time then they reject my money say it a bad check and put a late fee 20 plus a bad check fee 25 and did it again and again scam don't trust this company just want to take your money my storage is only 27 then it went to 95$ scam
Yes there is inflation but this company prides itself on booking online so they can have minimal staff. I took advantage of booking online to get a lower rate only for it to increase 26% just a few months later. The location I am at had alot of empty units so I would think they would want to retain their customers but when I contacted them. I was basically told to deal with the increase and that they are still competitively priced. That doesn't change thr fact I have to now come up with the extra $ within a month. I understand an increase might of been nessassary but 26% is alot to put on someone all at once.
Public storage is total TRASH. Wasted money and my belongings destroyed due to a neglected issue on their part. No one will return my call or email. I've contacted Salvador Chavez for 2 weeks will not respond. TRASH! TRASH! TRASH!
