I was given a discounted rate for my storage unit. However within 6 months they rescinded that and raised my rate the exact amount of my discount. I was given two different stories as to why the rate was going up. I was given no notice whatsoever. I was told they sent a letter. Well they sent the letter to an address that was over 6 months old despite the fact they had my updated information. I was told if I talk to customer service they would help me since the letter didn't come and I had financial hardship. That is a big lie. The discounted rates or a ploy to get you in there, once you're in then look out. I tried to call and talk to a manager according to customer service there aren't any. Then when I called the executive office and left multiple messages no one returned your call. They only care about your money they don't care about their customers and their 100% satisfaction guarantee is a big lie stay away.

First, the only reason I used this place was because they were the only one available. I initially had to wait an hour to even get one. Then they avertised $1 first month. Well, that turned into $34 after their "admin fees" and worthless "insurance". Accepting that having no other choice, I went ahead and got one. I specifically asked the guy, "How do I cancel when I'm done?". "Just come in and tell us." We were only there from the beginning of the month until the 20th of June. Once we emptied the unit and took our lock we informed them. Then July comes around and they still charged my account. So I try to call the local office, get transferred to their "National Call Center" just to be told that my account was still active until July 2nd. So they charged me for July anyway. The person at the call center could not help me get my money back so they gave me a number to the "District Manager". Who I question even exists. Called several times no answer. They recording left another number which, you guessed it, did not answer. If you have other options do it even if it costs more and further more if your left with my decision, just sell everything its must less frustrating.

On 6-13-15 my Nephew had lost his home due to the passing of my oldest brother. This situation had turned into an eleventh hour deal and we HAD to get a ton of personal belongings out of the house and garage. To be honest, it was a total disaster and we were scrambling trying to get things happening for my nephew. We had went by the Public Storage on Ashland Ave, in San Lorenzo, Ca. And spoke with Twila, hope I spelled her name correctly, she informed us that she did not have what we were looking for available. She was kind enough to call over to your E 14 th St. Facility and see if there was anything available there. She sent us over there and we met with Tiffani and Lana. I explained the dire situation we were in and those two ladies knocked me off my feet! They were Heaven sent. The compassion and understanding they have is unbelievable. Without the help of Lana and Tiffani we would have been up a river without a paddle. They were not only sympathetic and caring about our situation, I feel they truly care about helping others and really, really enjoy what they do. With their Professionalism and understanding hearts they took such a burden off of our Family. Before we started this task that morning, I had asked God to please stay with us and get us through what had to be done on that day. God not only stayed with my family, he sent Tiffani and Lana to our aid. Lana and Tiffani, I would like to Thank the both of You Ladies again. I do apologize to you both for not sending you guys this message sooner. A couple of Angels that I am Proud and Honored to have in our lives. I hope this finds you guys Safe and Well.
