I had the pleasure of using public storage number ******* and l found the folks here to be very helpful professionals.
I recommend and will re-use them again when necessary.
This particular employee named Lily was exceptionally helpful.

Please Do Not use public storage at 2515 Cumverland parkway in Vinings off 285 and Paces Ferry Rd. V. I was not told the rent would increase after 6 months. They lied about the size of unit and I had to rent a second unit. I had an emergency and notified I would be late with the $285 rent( it was 3 weeks late) and I was accessed another late fee now it's about $359 and they put a lot on it that I must ply to have remove.

Trusted them for 17 years!

I've been using Public Storage in Island Park, NY. For many many years.
I've also used storage in Hempstead, NY. And never have had any bad experiences.
This is why I won't consider using anyone else.
Had two small units for years. Then I went to one small and one really large one today.
I am very pleased to have had yet Another caring and attentive staff member Gianni help me today. She's a wonderful young lady. Made doing business there much smoother.
I'm a very satisfied customers for years now! I commend them.:-)

RESERVED BUT GOT ASSED OUT

I called ahead and reserved my storage container. I rented a truck, loaded it with my storage items, got to the Self Storage located at 550 Middle Country Road in Coram, NY. When I got there the front desk lady said there was a lock on the unit I reserved and could not open the unit. I spent money on the rental truck to load my belongings. I also reserved the container earlier in the day. $500.00 later and no storage container to store my belongings in. Thank you Public Storage for making a bad day worse. I will NEVER use you again and EVERYONE will know about your incompetence! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Thieves with a mold issue!

Rented a unit in Cincinncti, Ohio on Westbourne Dr. Was late on a payment so they cut my lock and put theirs on my unit. Then when I paid the balance owed... I took a new lock of my own there to replace theirs. When they removed their lock and opened the door I was in complete shock because half of my belongings were gone! They robbed me of everything that was in boxes and electronics. And left only furniture. Not sure why they decided to leave my furniture... Im happy they did. But very unhappy about everything being covered in mold. It was awful. So then I filed a claim with the insurance co. For the insurance they make you have on your unit... Im sure its probably owned by public storage because they said I had no claim at all! This location has not one camera on the property for security. Awful customer service. The buildings are very dated and dirty. I would never recommend Public storage or use them for starage again! Lost over $5000 worth of belongings. The worst thing I lost was all my family photos of my 20yr old son who passed away in 2013. I can never replace them. Steer clear as far as you can from Public storage!

Straight to the point, both the manager some older white male speaks in high pitch voice and a white female are nasty people. They wanna play pranks thinking im there slave! My bill is $81.08 they charged me $80.01 for a few months then send me a late fee. They say im a little slow so they wanna illegally target me. But i'm not into bs or slavery. I walk in and the girl works there gives me a brake down of bs then again charged me $80.01. When i can back she said i owe the balance. Spoke to the manager and he says he doesnt know why they all play these dirty games with me!

I am going to be moving my stuff out of storage in the middle of the month, but guess what I still have to pay for the whole dang month!
I don't get a refund or anything! They get.my money for.the whole month and then rent it again and. Get. More. Money!

Over paying

I got a 10x15 unit 1 1/2 yrs ago it started at $120 a mth now it's $181! There was never a notice of raising prices beware! Go somewhere else!

I am very happy to write about how the staff (Hector, Temuur, Angel and Gissel) were very
curteous and dilligent in processing our rental paper work, walking us all around to get
familiar with the place. Having this persons greeting the customers is a blessing that we
enjoyed last thursday 9/01/16.

Horrible customer service on Utica Ave & Glenwood Road Brooklyn. Spoke with District Mgr Brian Kligman and refused to help. The customer service rep is very unfriendly and nasty. Close off your account before you authorized them to in order to sell the unit to other customers. Place is extremely dirty. It's filthy and rat infested

Dont honor Insurance

They suck! I had three boxes of someone else's stuff and a area rug. I submitted a claim for lost items and without a Police report my claim was denied.
I was contacted to sign a waiver for my things to be pulled out of my unit for repairs. I'm sure they got things mixed up and they know it! Had to sue them for loss and damage! I wouldn't refer or ever use them again!

Called Public Storage and right away I was helped with my Storage needs. Talked to someone Named Mariah. She was a really nice person to talk to and very helpful, she went over all the paper work, showed the storing unit. It is a very friendly environment. Would recommend renting a storage unit here anytime.

I'm happy to had walked into the office at 4121 Greenbriar st. In Houston, Tx. This office is very clean and organize & smells very good. Always wonderful customer service & smiles when I come in about anything I need to handel such as paying my bill or even to update my personal info in person. I could go online for free however the lady "Jennifer" seems to always have a smile & is very helpful.

This company is a big scam - at least this location in New Orleans (Tchoupitoulas Street). They engage in fraud. Here is what happened:

1) I rented a unit from them for a month; vacated the unit after that one month, paid them in full, and asked them for a receipt or something to show that I have no balance and that I vacated. It is "company policy not to print such receipts." Instead, the manager there wrote me a hand-written note that said I vacated, closed the contract and have a zero balance. I have been getting harassing calls and emails from their corporate offices, asking me to pay more, because, according to what they have in the system, I'm still occupying the place. Every time I talk to the workers at the location, however, they tell me that my account is closed but that they are incapable of printing me any paperwork showing that. I will have to take them to court and file a complaint with the Bureau of Consumer Protection.

2) When I moved in, it took 3 hours to do the paperwork. The woman there (white woman in her 40s) looked like she was on crack or some other illicit drugs. I paid my movers a good dollar, of course, for all these three idle hours, to wait for Public Storage to complete a simple contract.

3) Their units have termites, termites that literally ate part of my beautiful, expensive armoire during this one month.

4) Their advertised "$1 for the first month" cost me about $250 in all kinds of hidden fees. That does not include the monthly payments of $261 that they want from me, probably for the rest of my life, because they cannot seem to be able to close the contract.

Word of advice: once they get your debit card information, you are locked in for life with these Mafia people. They are like a cancerous tumor - I simply cannot get rid of their harassing calls and emails and I simply cannot close the contract (even though the local manager tells me it is closed). Next step is involving my attorney, and taking them down for punitive action too.

I stopped at your Fair Lawn, N. J. property to make a payment on a rental unit I have in Toms River, N. J. Your representative, Elizabeth, greeted me with a smile and a welcome voice. In a few minutes she had my account on the computer screen detailing the balance including the late fee. Further inquirey by Elizabeth determined I had late payments for the last several months. Elizabeth explained the late fees are avoidable and unnecessary. She suggested direct deposit as one solution. Or leaving a credit card on file for payment. I explained I am not a fan of either payment method. Elizabeth, undeterred, said I would have to rely on the office call notifying me of late payment. She was knowledgable and sincere in helping me.
