I would like to commend Mr. Jame and the staff at the 5615 Westheimer location for their service. The staff was was accommodating to me with respect to my storage issues. Mr. James took the time to show me a storage container that would work best for me. He was professional, courteous and very helpful. It was a pleasure working with Mr. James at this location.
Lori was a and continues to be a a great help easy to communicate with has very nice people skills she makes this whole transition of storing my property at your location put at great ease she's a very patient person and takes the time to make sure I completely understand how to continue on with my business with this company I feel very grateful for all she does. Pam was very nice and even helped me by asking her friend if he might be interested in some items we no longer have a use for. I thought that was very helpful of her. I also was nervous about the whole process, but by the time we were thru talking, I was laughing at how silly I was for feeling that way. Pam put both my mind, and my husbands mind at ease. Thought this was the place to be. Clean, organized, secure, competitive prices. Well, in only five months - just long enough to move in - they raised the rent 20%! Was able to talk them down to a 12% raise, but that's still works out to a 29% annualized increase. Spoke to the district manager and she said the 20% raise was the market rate.' Total rip off. Now I'm moving out ASAP. Get a multi-month lease if you can.

I have been renting a storage space since this past March at store # *******. The property manager Diana was the associate that set me up with my unit. 99.9% of the time I go in to pay, go in my unit, or call in payment Diana is the one who assists me. She is very knowledgeable about her property / units. She is very friendly and personalizes her customer service. She really cares about her clients, property, and how her staff treats customers too. I have seen Diana numerous times out and about tending to her store property while I would be coming in to my unit. Diana really takes pride in her job, and how her store property looks. In my opinion from a customer's point if view, Diana is a major asset to public storage. To lose Diana would be a major loss to pubic storage. If all the on property associates were like Diana in attitude, customer service relations public storage would be the gold mine of storage rental companies. Keep up the excellent job you are doing Diana. You are the best property manager in any storage rental company I have ever run into.
I rented a 7'x10' unit for a beginning rate of $153 per month. The door is poorly sealed and there is a thick layer of dirt covering everything in the unit. A little over a year later my rate is $196. To add salt to the wound, I receive daily ads in my yahoo email for same-sized units available for $91 per month. When I called customer service to inquire about switching to the cheaper unit they told me those were promotional rates for new customers only. I asked if the new customer who gets that deal will be paying $196 after their first year and they stammered, not knowing how to reply, then said "Well, everyone's rates are subject to change, that's how this business works." I strongly suggest folks look elsewhere for storage solutions. This company is akin to something you'd expect from doing business with the mafia. I can't stress enough how much Public Storage should be avoided. You're better off taking your property and burying it in the woods.
I had started looking for another storage location when Destiny told me about rewriting my rental contract. I moved from one locker to another and now will probably remain at the 1909 Old Middlefield location for quite a while. Thanks again Destiny.
This location was a good experience for me. Shun, the young lady that dealt with me was polite, curtious, and very thorough about how to access the unit. She's honest and awsome when I ask a question. I would definitely recommend anyone ro her and this location. Good service.

First my unit was broken into I moved my stuff out 11/2 2 days into my next month they are trying to charge me 70.00 for the month of November. When i went in after hearing my unit was broken into i went in the cops where there due to more break ins. Read your insurance policy you have to provide receipts for everything not worth the additional 12.00 a month unless you have receipts for everything, terrible place to rent. Price hikes are another issue with this place
Life happens and along this path it is a blessing to have people whom come into your life at the right time. Great customer service. Angela was so nice and helpful. When she told me they had rented out the unit I had reserved I started to get worried but then she put me at ease when she told me that there was no problem and they were upgrading me to a larger unit for the same price. She was able to answer all of my questions, and I had a lot of them. The facility is very clean and easy to access.
