Public Storage's reputation is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to steep and frequent price increases, inadequate customer service, and poor management responsiveness. Many customers report feeling neglected, with unresolved issues regarding billing and unit security leading to frustration. While some locations receive praise for their cleanliness and helpful staff, these positive experiences appear inconsistent. Overall, the feedback suggests a troubling trend of unprofessional practices and a lack of accountability, prompting customers to caution others about their experiences and consider alternative storage options.

I would highly recommend this storage unit, Mrs. Kristen was so helpful and did a great job and answered every question I had. Was very polite.
Very please with help and courtesy of employees. Facilities are clean outside and inside. Property # is *******.
I will never recommend this place. Employee was rude. Said police had better things to do than to. So our things aren't important to you? Said she doesn't blame the police for not coming out to check on who's calling saying they're stuck inside. Bunch of bull crap! Shady! I'm getting my things out of the other unit I have. I don't trust them! She was so rude about it! I told her this is messed up! They're a freaking rip off! DON'T STORE YOUR THINGS HERE!
Your employees at the on Hillsboro at 1375 W Hillsboro is the best employee I believe you have Nicole and Hazra. Thank you
Me and my significant other went by there to look for a storage unit, for our new home and we were 100% satisfied with Antonio's customer service. I mean he was phenomenal; even my fiancé was extremely happy and that's very important to me. He was quick to respond to our questions and helped us with exactly what we were looking for. He was also very professional. Me and my fiancé will be coming back again once we move into our new home. And I highly recommend that you use him if you are in need of a storage unit.
I shopped around and ended up at Public Storage in Walnut Creek, CA. So glad I took the time to compare facilities. And Doninique as fantastic. Helpful, knowledgeable and friendly.
Manager Crissa was not only well knowledgeable to the rules and operations of the facility but kind and caring to not only our needs and questions but to other customers who were there.
A very valuable employee.
Jason was awesome in helping me to get my storage. I got a great storage and easy to get in and out of. Thank you
If I can do a 0 star I would as of this moment. Please don't rent at Public Storage any of there facilities I never done Google review but I do need people to hear me out. Public Storage are just Scam artist. I feel your items will be safe more at a stranger backyard or at shack. My friend rented a parking spot he decided to cancelled because the rent went up 70.00 more. When he went to get his trailer it was stolen yes stolen 01/31/2020. I felt so bad when he called me because all his hard work was gone just like that. We called and they say they're not in charge of anything that has beed stolen. Now tell me why they are saying that they are not responsible for anything that gets stolen... So your basically storaging your items for the theif. So they change the name and called it Theif Mall. I'm very sad because it's not fair people work hard for their items so why trust your belongings to a company that wants only your money. Please to who ever is reading this I'm not lying think about it twice I'm not going to stop posting until we find justice... Yes its material but 9yrs of hard work gone and he always paid his rent on time bc it was autopay.
I love this place it convenient and spacious for all my belongings nice people today I went with my mom to rent a unit and marri was so nice and straight forth with us thank u mari
I have been with them exactly 1 month. I was supposed to pay today my next month, but they said I had to make the payment yesterday. So because of that they charge me $20 late fee and $55 lien fee, so they were asking me to pay $16 prorated fee plus $20 plus $55 for being according to them 1 day late. And on top of that February is coming and have to pay that too. They are crazy if they think I am gona stay there. So for you reading this and if you decide to do business with them make sure you know when you are supposed to pay and DONT BE LATE! THEY WILL CHARGE YOU MORE THAN $70 FOR BEING 1 DAY LATE!
I used them so many times before, but NEVER EVER EVER AGAIN!
5 Stars For Jeff! Excellent Customer Service, Thank You! Very Neat, Clean Areas, Well Protected.
Easy access. Good lighting. Overall great Experience
Awesome! Job great service and got a unit right away which was a plus cause I was heading to work... Great job Public Storage!
It was good doing business with Melinda. She know how to handle storage insurance and she treated me good. And she know how to do that job good. My name is Abanekg.
This storage building was terrible. Everything inside of it was covered with a layer of dust, cobwebs, spiders both dead and alive, other bugs, and mouse droppings. Every time after I got something out of the building I needed to immediately change my clothes, even with a tarp covering my things. Vacating the storage building was also very difficult. After I had moved my things into a different facility, all that remained in the building were three wooden pallets that the building provided. I was informed that I needed to remove the pallets on my own (not my pallets, they belonged to Public Storage). I was told that I was not allowed to vacate because I had not given two days notice of my intent to do so. This was never communicated to me previously. I was also billed for a month of rent on an empty storage building that contained the property of the company I was paying. Once I finally removed the pallets, I found a decomposing mouse under one of them. Brittany, the manager on duty, was not at all helpful. On the day I vacated (after having already tried to do so once), I had to wait 45 minutes for the only employee to return to the office. I left and came back when the sign on the door said the employee would return, only to see that they had changed the sign to say they would be back even later, forcing me to wait longer. I have never had a worse experience with any business. The service and product are both terrible.
Allen is always helpful in attending to our needs. We started with Public Storage in 2014 & Allen has been there the whole time. He originally helped in choosing a unit that would fit our needs & budget. When it was time to down size he helped with choosing the correct unit for us & even helped in the transformation from one unit to the other. He helped in signing us up with auto pay which takes the headaches of making sure unit is paid for on time. He is very courteous, helpful & has the knowledge for anyone to choose a unit. The only problem I have with Public Storage is that every year the rent goes up, but Allan has nothing to do with corporate decisions. I hesitate to say but if the price keeps going up we will have to find another storage facility & I will miss Allen!
This company has consistently messed up my bill since they took over a few months ago trying to charge an extra $65 lien fee that I never got notice about and the letter they sent was 7 days after they applied the fee company is a total RIP OFFF!
I went to your store in Southfield Michigan expecting the usual spiel but I was pleasantly surprised! Mariah went out of her way to make me feel comfortable and explain things throughly. She is very warm and friendly! She is MARVELOUS! Please don't lose her! I'm going to recommend this place to all my friend and colleges!
I went to find a storage space today and I also found a wonderfully helpful person. She new her storage spaces and she was so helpful and kind. She made it us feel comfortable and we felt like we've left our belongings somewhere safe. The storage space was very reasonable, clean and a great first month incentive for just 1 dollar! Her name is Teddi at the Richland Hills Public Storage on Baker Blvd. I hope next time I see her that she's a manager. Thank Teddi and Public Storage for making this time of the year a little easier and pleasant. Ms. Vleeteach.
