The overall reputation of the company reveals significant dissatisfaction among customers, primarily due to issues with booking accuracy, hidden fees, and inadequate customer service. Many reviews highlight frustrations with non-refundable reservations and uncommunicated changes, leading to feelings of being misled. While some customers appreciated the initial pricing, the subsequent hidden costs and lack of support during disputes overshadowed these positives. A recurring sentiment is a lack of accountability from the company, prompting numerous customers to vow never to use the service again. This feedback indicates a critical need for improved transparency and customer support practices.

Priceline is a terrible company to do business with. They have awful customer service, give out the wrong information and steal from you when you need to make changes. I would never recommend using them. The service agent Blake from Manilla was horrible.
I really liked using price line, but don't like the fact the you really don't know what time or who you are flying with until you are done paying.
I was seraching had been for 2 months typing in my dates and how many in each room always checking and making sure of everything a great price came up i booked it than after it said it was for 2 people not 4 i called them immed with them not helping at all nothing they told me i could cancel my res but would still be charged they lost me forever and i am leaving reviews any place i can it is theraputic my goal is to leave 100 very bad reviews
When looking for hotels I first check Priceline. I don't always get lucky on that site but when I do its usually pretty darn good. I've gotten $200.00 rooms for $45.00 These are usually last minute deals.
Its always my first go-to when looking for lodgings.
Rented a car thru Priceline. Had to change my travel dates. They would not change it... lost all my money for an 8 day rental... beware!
I saw a good deal on a hotel room on priceline in Laplace, La for 73.58. I submitted the information and reserved the room for 3 nights. Well when i tried to submit the payment the system didnt not take my payment and the system took me back to the begining. The room now changed prices from 73.58 to 97 a night. I contacted priceline and told them the issue. I was told the price must have changed while I was submitting my payment. I asked shouldnt you honor the price since I already had the summary of charges and it showing 73.58 a night and was told they cant. I ended up having to get a different room with a different website. Never will I use priceline again as they put fictitious prices on their website to get you to go to it...
Good travel website, I have planned out several trips through Priceline, been satisfied every time.
Really good travel service, it has been a very pleasant experience for me.
I have car rental insurance with my credit card and a excellent private auto policy.
When I went to complete my car rental purchase online. It said if I don't purchase Priceline's auto insurance they would charge my credit card the cost of the car. It sounds like they use the whole cost of the car as a deposit. I don't want several thousand dollars put on my card as a deposit... Can anyone explain?

Good travel website, plenty of destinations to choose from, a really useful way to plan out a trip.
Good Travel website, very happy when I have used it.
If you are not a seasoned traveller and do not know exactly what you are looking for then this site will take FULL advantage of you with their hidden fee's and FINE PRINT exclaimer pages. When you call customer service they just say SORRY, you agreed and are stuck with the reservation and refused to cancel or offer another solution. In my case a car rental. My fault for not reading the fine print and hidden messages displayed at the bottom of their page that require a detective to go in a find. GOOD business practice would make sure that ALL info was CLEARLY and PLAINLY stated so inexperienced travellers like myself aren't surprised with the total charge that shows up on my visa.
Good Customer Service is ESSENTIAL!
I booked a room with 2 beds and when I got to the hotel they said Priceline had sent information over that my reservation was for 1 bed. Not ok considering it was myself, my husband, and 2 children. The hotel was all booked up and could not offer me 2 beds. After about 2 hours on the phone with Priceline, they offered to cancel my reservation. Ok, so where was my family supposed to stay?! I would have been happy if they offered to find me something else at the same cost but they would not do that even though this was their mistake. I had booked months in advance to get the deal that I got. Could not find anything else at that price on such short notice. To make up for their mistake, they sent me a coupon for 5% off my next trip. Why do I want that? So they can mess up my reservation again? No thank you. Never using Priceline again.
Answer: The agreed to price is inclusive. I would look at dollar's website before renting from Priceline. There is no layer of protection from prcln.
Answer: With Price Line you may pay a reduced price. However, you get reduced services. Be prepared for hidden costs from the merchant as their ads on Price Line do not include their entire policy.
Answer: I'm not sure what you mean by "receive" the e-ticket. I've booked numerous times through priceline and other intermediaries, but have never received a ticket. I would suggest that you look at the itinerary that you've received from priceline and look for the Airline Confirmation Number (which may be a sequence of letters and or numbers depending on the airline). Then go to the airline's website and look up your flight itinerary. This process also varies by airline, but there should be some menu such as "My Trips" or other itinerary look up option. The airline should be able to find your itinerary based on your name and confirmation number. If your priceline itinerary contains an e-ticket number, you may be able to use that on the airline's website as well. If the airline has your itinerary, you're good to go. You'll be able to check in and get a boarding pass (electronic or print) 24 hours prior to your flight. If the airline has no record of you, then you've got a problem.
