I feel like I was tricked into a cheaper booking in an area nowhere near where I wanted to be. I am out of pocket for $200 on a nonrefundable room that I cannot use. Will never booked through Priceline again. Sketchy.

Priceline Boobie Prize
November 8, 2021

I am very disappointed at the so-called 'bargain' I received. It was not a bargain or better hotel at all. I could have obtained a better deal for this hotel on my own had I wanted to stay at that dump. The hotel is undergoing renovation construction to the upper floors. The 1st floor is untouched and being filled with unsuspecting priceline travelers and sketchy-looking people. Certain sketchy guests ith a large dog were trying to access their room through an exterior window. The guest laundry was missing a dryer and there was no working light in the room. Our 'suite' had torn wallpaper, slow-draining tub/shower, ripped and stained carpet, and was not worth staying at for half the supposed Priceline deal. I feel like I just gambled away my money and received the boobie prize. I definitely would not use Priceline again nor would I recommend it to friends, family or clients.

Over charging their customers
November 6, 2021

Hi everyone,

I had a bad experience with Priceline over charging me for my rental cost, I choose a $34 dollar cost vehicle and after processing the transaction it showed me a $49.99 cost for the same vehicle. This is a scam and their customer support team was not able to resolve my problem or generate any type of refund. This will be the last time I will be using Priceline and I suggest you guys to avoid doing business with a scammer company!

GUYS stay away from Priceline.com which is cheating and stealing all of us with its policy and training on its agents. I booked airline tickets from Houston to Manila and paid flexible change, which means I will pay only the difference of the rate at the time if I reschedule my tickets, in this pandemic period to protect myself. But Priceline.com keeps stealing from me. I called Princeline.com agent to reschedule my tickets today. I called 5 times this morning, and in the first 3 time agents kept silent after said Hello playing music all the way. Then the 4th time and 5th time had a lady agent tried to help. I presented the trip and tickets I found in Kayak.com, then she asked carefully the flight numbers then give me a price which is over $3300 more expensive than the rate I found in Kayak.com. Her explanation is "Kayak.com is not Priceline.com" and her price is from Priceline.com. This made me very uncomfortable, but I decide that I will try to find a trip in Princeline.com then call its agent to do the reschedule again.

I searched the trip in Priceline.com in the evening again and found the proper trip with reasonable price, even though rate has doubled. I called Priceline.com. An agent started working on the reschedule of my trip. What surprised me is that she told me that she cannot use the price searched/displayed on Priceline.com but can only use another system's rate, then you know what happened -- the rated is over $2000 much more than the price displayed on Priceline.com -- same depart/return dates and same flights but price has gone up by over $2000.

I kept asking her if this is Priceline.com policy for you agents to cheat customers in this terrible way after the same situation happened to me twice already this time, she can say nothing but silent, still insisted on that she can only let me have this price. I told her that I will put what I experienced today on the web review, but she can only kept silent. I would say, GUYS stay away from Priceline.com which is cheating and stealing all of us with its policy and training on its agents.

I booked a Hotel reservation using Express Deal. Before making the final booking, I called Priceline and reconfirmed the final amount. The Priceline Customer Service Representative confined that whatever is shown on Priceline.com will be the final amount, including all taxes. When I was checking out from the hotel, they asked me to pay the resort fee, which was 204$. At that time, I called Priceline again to check this. I was on the call with them for approximately 35 minutes, out of which I was on hold last 15-20 minutes. Since I had to catch my flight, I hung up the call and paid the resort fee.

When I called that Priceline after reaching home to request the refund, Priceline dropped the 1st call; on the next call, I told the same thing for the 3rd time, and then again, I was transferred to a senior person. A senior person raised a ticket and within 2 hours got back to me. The customer representative said that you clicked on the 'Complete Booking' button at the time of booking, which implies that "By selecting Complete Booking you agree to the Booking Conditions (this link opens in a modal dialog) Terms and Conditions, and Privacy Policy." In this section, a small line mentions that the customer is responsible for paying resort fees at the hotel. I told them that I confirmed this with Priceline before booking the hotel, and he/she did not mention such a thing, but again the person on call was not listening and was changing the statement every minute. After that, they said they would investigate the phone recording; however, even if they confirm that the customer representative gave the wrong information, I won't get any refund. This happened when I was a VIP Blue member of Priceline.

Priceline lies about VIP members getting special deals on hotel fees. On priceiline.com, I booked a trip that included 2 different hotels. When I booked it, online, it stated that there would be no "at hotel fees" for the first hotel, which i was staying one day there. It stated that the second one would charge "$7 per day," for the 3 days I was there. So, I would pay $21 in hotel fees, to the hotel, for my entire trip. The first hotel charged me $21 (supposed to be $0 based on the info from priceline.com) and the second hotel charged me $51 per day ($153 when it was supposed to be $21). Priceline just said i have to pay those fees to the hotel directly. Well priceline, your website said I would only have to pay $7 per day to the hotel. Now you're saying your system says that i needed to pay the first hotel $21, and nothing for the second hotel (or you just have no data for that). Well I don't really care who I paid the $21 to. I expected to pay it. I do care about the other $153 that I was charged, that was incorrect on your website when I booked. I've talked with the hotels and they've confirmed that it was not their error. They don't offer such discounts on hotel fees. The discount shown on priceline was a priceline discount. Priceline is refusing to honor it. I've spent hours on chats and phone calls with priceline and the hotels, and everything pointed back to it being a priceline error. Do you think I got my money back? NOPE! They have to be stopped. Bait and switch isn't legal priceline!

I called priceline again today, and i explained the whole issue again, and was transferred to someone at booking.com who couldn't help me either because i didn't have a confirmation number for them. I didn't even use booking, i used priceline. So i called back, and again was transferred to someone called the 'manager' but she couldn't help either so she said they would have to call me back. I'll sit and wait for that call for a long time i'm sure.

To summarize our experience briefly, we got to our rental car pick up destination and Dollar did not have the convertible we reserved. At the counter, a $180 1 way trip fee was charged by Dollar. It makes sense why Dollar charges this, however, the price quoted on Priceline's website didn't include the 1 way trip fee. They advertised a disclaimer on Kayak's website saying that there may be a 1 way trip fee, but it doesn't say how much. Priceline advertises a price which includes taxes and fees. This could be interpreted as false and misleading advertising. After several attempts via email and phone conversations, Priceline states that it is not misleading advertising a price on their website including all taxes and fees but it actually ends up being more. THIS IS WRONG AND ILLEGAL!

Priceline is a scam
October 29, 2021

I needed to fly to New Jersey for a job interview. Scheduled one flight through Priceline, but had to cancel. Priceline refunded my money without any issue because I told them I was going to purchase a new flight. I got a new flight scheduled but again had to cancel due to exposure to Covid. Ultimately I decided I wasn't going to go to the interview and canceled my flight. Priceline absolutely refused to refund my money because I canceled due to covid. Apparently, that is not an acceptable reason for cancelation. Their website shows the tickets were canceled, and a refund is pending, but it's been several months and nothing has shown. Everytime you call, they say they'll escalate to a manager, but their too busy and they'll call you back. Unsurprisingly, they never do.

My card was fine it was pricelines payment to the hotel declined & attitude from the clerk making me feel it wasy fault and I didn't have money to pay for my room, So the whole night took 3 hours 15 min driving wasting gas to another hotel, waste of time waste of gas & attitude from a clerk so yes my experience was quite unpleasant! & All I get is@ 10% discount, slap n the face for the night I had to endure all because of pricline mistake!

I selected a hotel based upon the 7+ rating review priceline had for them. Only to learn later that the positive reviews were 3-4 years old and the hotel is now one of the worst many have ever experienced. Almost all ratings since 2020 are 1s due to rooms not being cleaned (yes, dirty sheets from previous guests, dirty toilets, etc). I slept on a dismantled futon in my car in 30 degree weather over staying at the hotel that priceline advertised as being one of its best... and still paid $85.

I had been using Priceline exclusively for some time until a recent trip to Huntsville Texas. I alwasy use my login to book rooms and had booked at the same hotel 3 weeks in a row. For this trip my wife arrived an hour before I did, WITH the Priceline Itinerary in hand and the hotel would not let he check in because Priceline screwed up with the details from my login to the hotel. When I arrived at the hotel, the same clerk who checked me in 2 weeks prior was there and she too refused to check me in because the name listed had my first name as my last name as well. There is a review pending for the Hampton Inn as well. When I arrived, I had the itinerary in hand, I had the downloaded check in on phone's wallet and I had the credit card I booked with yet the fool behind the counter still wouldn't let us in. That's when I turned to Priceline. Even though they knew I booked the trip via my login, they chastised me for doing something wrong. I was like... WTH? I asked them what good my confirmation number was with the printout and what value downloading the booking to my phone's wallet was if the hotel was still going to refuse it. After some back and forth, the useless Priceline agent was still unable to help me and forwarded me to a 1-800 number to fix the problem where again, the agent blamed me. I guess my previous 9 booking in the same year were fine using my login, but this one was not. It took almost 30 minutes after a 5 hour drive before the sorted it out and when I asked what they were going to do for me for the inconvenience, they said "well we just fixed your problem, so what else do you want?". Priceline's benefits' package is a farce. I've looked at other hotels using other apps since I left Huntsville and all the prices are inline with PL. They call me a VIP gold member but there are zero benefits. They claim to offer premium support but they would rather blame me for their problems. I will never used this crappy product again.

They are quick to take your money but when something goes wrong they have supple excuses for why they can't do what they should be doing. Worse still, they send out the non-English speaking telephone personalities to explain the situation in excruciating pigeon English detail. In the end, they refuse to take part in the correction and I would never, never recommend this company for anything to anyone. Shame, shame, shame on Priceline.

NU Car Rental via Priceline
September 29, 2021

Will never use Priceline again. Had issues with the rental car, notified Priceline and was pushed back to Car Rental Company. First have to prepay and due to flight changes I paid for 6 days but due to flight delays I only had car rental for 5 days. Got car to find it had less than a 1-4 tank and trash shoved up under the seats and sand in floor boards. Notification of gas when I picked it up, was told that they didn't have time to fill it up, (didn't see the sand and trash shoved up under the seats till next morning) I took pictures of gas gauge and when I returned the car, had to prove why I didn't fill up the tank! Told them about the other issues, to no avail. Complain to Priceline about it but was pushed back to NU Car Rental who in turn said that I didn't let them know when I picked it up…BS. I n retuning I followed there rules to return it washed, vacuumed out, but I didn't fill the tank. Clerk that checked me back in was rude and wanted to know why I didn't fill the tank, which I showed him the pictures of the gauges when I picked it up. NU Car Rental charges $50 if you don't return car washed and vacuumed. Plus they charge a fee for the gas. I really don't want to even give them one star!

Not safe to stay
September 27, 2021

This website charged me for not staying at a horrible hotel. What i saw on the website was not real, what i was getting. The hotel is ugly, dirty, and people on it was not the best looking... i felt unsafe to stay with my wife so we left. We had to sleep at the airport parking lot. After all that i contacted Priceline via chat and they told me that the policy is there and that refund was not an option... priceline don't care about safety only to get peoples money. I will never use Priceline again.

I've been using Priceline since 2019 and I've reached their VIP gold level.
My account has been out of access since Sep 7, while I booked two trips on Sep 3 and canceled one trip on Sep 6. But suddenly, from Sep 8, I was not able to login into my account anymore.

The system keeps displaying an error message that my password or email is wrong. Even when I tried to reset the password, the system changed the password. However, when I try to log in with the new password it shows the same error message.

I spent more than 4 days talking with customer service, chat through the online system, and messaging via Twitter account. They kept saying that an account with that email address doesn't exist. I provided many emails and documents that clearly shows that I had such an account. But they didn't bother themselves to address the issue and just followed the written guideline and saying that that account doesn't exist and we cannot do anything.

I said ok, let's forget about it and create a new account using the same email address. I found out that Priceline doesn't allow me to create a new account using that email address because the system shows that I have an account using that email address. (See the attached Photos)

I talked with the customer service again. Their answer: There is not any account with that email address, we don't know why you cannot create a new account, and we suggest you use a different email address.

I even waited more than 2 weeks to try again. I said that it might be a temp issue or bug. But the problem is there yet. I talked again with them, and they said the same thing again.
In short: There is ZERO respect for a loyal customer that purchased all his trips in the last three years. They don't care and they don't feel your pain and don't listen to your issue. They just open a book and say the same thing that has been written for them. Total nonsense and disrespect!

When I went with Priceline on a trip to miami from Texas round trip. I was price gouged for an additional $70.00 on the rate they quoted me for for a carry on luggage that they insisted didn't cover the one bag. This should of been brought to my attention at first or I would of went elsewhere. I ever called them to ask what size maximum they would allow and they told me 9x11x I forgot the rest but I made sure the carry on was under that. When I called to address this issue. I got very unprofessional service with a rooster crowing in the background. Them hanging up on me three times and never wishing to make me a happy customer with the attitude we already got your money now shoooo! Will never use this company ever again and BEWARE if you are thinking you are paying one price and finding out it's costing 70.00 more!

I booked a room at a hotel, the first room had roaches, second room was ok but then when I woke up in the middle of the night I saw roaches around our bed and in our bathroom. We had to end up sleeping in our car. Paid almost $100 and all Priceline could do was offer a 15% coupon. Very disappointed in Priceline.
