The overall reputation of the company reveals significant dissatisfaction among customers, primarily due to issues with booking accuracy, hidden fees, and inadequate customer service. Many reviews highlight frustrations with non-refundable reservations and uncommunicated changes, leading to feelings of being misled. While some customers appreciated the initial pricing, the subsequent hidden costs and lack of support during disputes overshadowed these positives. A recurring sentiment is a lack of accountability from the company, prompting numerous customers to vow never to use the service again. This feedback indicates a critical need for improved transparency and customer support practices.

This is fraud company they book a flight and cancel in less 2 hrs and refuse refund money. Fraud fraud
I called the hotel directly because I did not want to go through a third-party. I was given Priceline was very unhappy. Unlike most priceline took my money out immediately! It was months before my stay and the money was already out of my account. I canceled my reservation immediately it took three months I could not get my money back. The hotel actually helped me get it back after a long time, visa researched it and finally refunded my money. DONT GO PRICELINE!
Upon choosing a pick up location for a car rental that I had wanted to book due to a snow storm predicted to happen on Christmas Day, my drive to visit my family would take one hour long and wanted to rent a safe vehicle to do so. The pick up location I had chosen was close to my house and was walking distance away. Upon completing my rental purchase, the email confirmation I received for the pick up location changed to one that is 40 minutes away from me. I called priceline immediately and told them of the situation. They told me this happened as the location I originally chosen did not have any cars available and auto defaulted to the next location closest to me. I told them I wanted a refund. After speaking with 2 different people and was on hold for 20 minutes was was told someone would call me back about the refund. I called them again in 3 hours to follow up and was told I had passed my pick up time and now I will NOT be able to get a refund issued! I was then again told someone would call me back. It has now been 5 days and I still have not heard from anyone. I will NEVER use priceline again.
This business is horrible. I booked a flight to San Antonio from Chicago and missed the flight because priceline told me to catch my flight from the wrong airport and therefore spending Christmas alone seeing that all my family lives in another state. When I called the airlines and explained what happened, after a nearly three hour wait, they told me to contact priceline to address the issue. I contacted priceline, after another 5 hour wait, and they basically told me to f#ck off, claiming that it wasn't their problem and that I should recontact the airlines. I didn't accept that as an answer so they put me on hold for 20 minutes, and then just hung up on me. You can book a flight, but they can't correct their errors. Priceline is a f#cking bs scam.
I tried three times to call and use a flight credit and was hung up on each time. This is ridiculous. I spent almost a thousand bucks and can't even reschedule.
Rented a car with AVIS via Priceline for Costa Rica months in advance. When I arrived at the Liberia Airport was notified (even before getting the shuttle to AVIS's office) that they allegedly had no more cars to rent. Called them and they conformed the information. Reality is that they had multiple cars in their parking lot. This is an organized dishonest practice where car rental companies charge 3 to 4X normal the prices, making you shop around at the spot on, an airport in a secluded place. Priceline has no process to enforce booking conditions. I can't trust them anymore.
I made a reservation for a hotel that was supposed to be close to the airport. It turns out to be 35 miles away. I discovered this right away and asked them to cancel the reservation. Their customer service rep (Mary?) told me they couldn't... 10 minutes. 35 miles. Supposed to be close to the airport... Is lying a reason for immediate cancellation?
Latrine (toilet) non-ADA compliant, Hotel room mold, mildew, smells and like the toilet sewage! Remote control had disgusting soiled body debris! Priceline customer service haggled, deflected, and denied the existence of discrimination. Priceline staff never tried to help me book a hotel room, and I tried many times to communicate with the Hotel and Priceline. Many of the Hotels are refurbished Brothels@ Hotel staff was the worst! It took 45 mins to check, the male staff member tried to create a ruse, so I could forget my credit card. Priceline lied and claimed the talked to the hotel, but never talked to the Hotel manager. The hotel manager deflected the problems.
I had credit on for a previous canceled flight and they would not honor my seating or other perks that I previously chosen, I had to call three times I will never ever go through Priceline
If you can actually get ahold of someone they have horrible costumer service and don't try to make anything right. They also false advertise. On the express deal it showed I was going to get a hotel similar to one of these nice hotel and then when I booked it gave me the crumbiest hotel out there or maybe it's a motel? Idk. Don't book with them.
Beware of this company! I ordered a car from them and when I arrived at the car company it was very unsafe and tried to charge me extra so I immediately called Price Lane to cancel the order and updated them on what was happening and this is after I took the company's VIP and they told me they did not refund me even though I did not take composition! This is their attitude to customers! Be careful they will cheat you! I expect the senior manager of the company to contact me and return my money this week! Because after talking to some managers the customer service is very bad and not considerate of customers! Be careful they are cheaters they cheated on me and I will not shut up and make sure to sue the company if they do not call and return the money I deserve
I bought a hotel room through Priceline at the Hawthorne Suites in Manchester MA. Upon checkin in the hotel was closed. Nobody was at the check in desk and there was a sign with a phone number to call. Nobody answered the phone for more than one hour. I called priceline to cancel the reservation and I was told that, given the situation I would get a refund. Today Priceline wrote an email saying that the hotel does not agree to refund the amount paid and that therefore they will not refund me anything. At this point I think that Priceline should take responsibility for selling a service that cannot be used. It's like selling a car that cannot be driven… What's the use of it? Therefore: do not trust Priceline and do not book hotels or cars through that website. It's very unreliable!
Wanting to give Priceline/Avis a try because of competitive prices, canceled due to them not having the particular vehicle and assured a full refund is false. A Priceline charge to my credit card was not fully reimbursed even though we had not used their services at all. Waited almost a month after several calls to Priceline and reinsured a full refund. Then given a wrong number to Allianz car rental insurance company, called Priceline again and was told they were not going to refund the rental insurance charge. I went through private rental company after this experience and it was great!
The Express order on the site is just a money generator for them. Nobody is going to fly way out of your way and sit in a airport for 12 hours! Then when you try to rebook, they nail ya $$$$ ZERO customer service!
I rather give -5 stars if system allowed.
Priceline booking system is not reliable, and when they found it was their mistakes, they are very good at transferring their responsibilities to others or just disconnecting the call.
I booked two Delta flight tickets with seats selected in main cabin (my husband has claustrophobia so he must sit on the aisle seats) on 11/19/2021, and got conformation email on the same day, and credit card was also charged on the same day. 10 days after the reservation (one and a half days before our departure), I logged in Delta website but found that there is no any seats booked in all our four flights. Yes, Priceline DID NOT book any seats for any of our flights. I was in a hurry to reserved the seats, and contacted Priceline to question about this big mistake they've made. An agent name Ian told me that it because the airline doesn't allow priceline to choose seats (latterly I called delta and confirmed that it is not the case. Delta accepts seat booking from third party website.). I then contacted Priceline again, and waited for over an hour to reach their escalating team, a representative named Avery, she then told me that in Priceline, also includes all other third party agencies, all flight bookings are not guaranteed for seat selecting. I asked her to email me this Priceline rule but she said they don't have written documents for it. When I questioned her why there is no email to inform me the seats were not booked, she didn't have any answer. When I questioned her about this discrepancy, she disconnected the phone line.
I have used lots of thirty party website to book flights for several years and every time I got the seat I selected when booking except this time through Priceline. Be aware, your booking through Priceline does not guarantee the seat you selected, and you will be disconnected when you push for answers.
Will never ever use Priceline again.
MY FLIGHT WAS CANCELED REPEATEDLY WITH AMERICAN AIRLINES. I REQUESTED A REFUND. THEY SENT REFUND BACK TO PRICELINE ON NOVEMBER 3,2021. CUSTOMER SERVICE SAYS THEY STILL HAVEN'T RECEIVED THE CHECK FROM AA. IT IS ALMOST A DAMN MONTH AND NO MONEY BEING RETURNED BACK TO MY ACCOUNT. THEY DONT KNOW WHAT TO SAY TO ME BESIDES WAIT. IVE CONTACTED PRICELINE ON 10 DIFFERENT OCCASIONS AND STILL HAVE YET TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE THAT WILL RETURN MY DAMN MONEY. THIS IS THE WORST COMPANY TO GO THROUGH FOR YOUR TRAVELING NEEDS. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND OR TALK NICE ABOUT THIS COMPANY. I ALSO CANCELED MY CARD THAT WAS ON FILE WITH THEM. I CALLED THEM TO PUT NEW CARD ON FILE FOR REFUND…. THEY SAID THEY DONT HAVE ANYONE IN THE COMPANY THAT HAS THE AUTHORITY TO CHANGE INFORMATION. SMH. THIS COMPANY F'N SUCKS! I WILL NEVER IN MY LIFE GO THROUGH THIS COMPANY AGAIN PERIOD!
Please book elsewhere, Priceline will leave you stranded and their support team is unprofessional and lacks problem solving skill.Do not waste your time or money.
My business trip was changed (not canceled) one day so I called to see what we could do about the rental car. I thought I might need to pay a fee, which is understandable. The airline was extremely helpful, but not Priceline when it came to the car rental. I received a great deal of Customerservice-ese: "I understand... I wish there was something we could do... etc." They told me to call the rental company (Thrifty). Guess who Thrifty told me to call? Yep. I'll never use Priceline again. I've had MUCH better experiences with Kayak and Hotwire. I feel sorry for the people who work for this faceless corporation that does not value people at all.
This is the second time in a row I booked a rental car though them and the 2 time they over charged me by close to $40. The first time they refunded my money this time I called 3 times and still no results, even after talking with a supervisor. The car was a week long rental for $414.99 and they charged me $454.99.
This started on Nov 5th. I booked a last min flight to Cleveland OH out of Fayetteville NC and the plane broke down. This was not Pricelines fault. After sitting the airport for 8 hours we called American Air and requested a refund. They said yes and I have the emails proving it. They did say that it had to go back to Priceline because that is who I booked with. When calling Priceline they said it only except checks from the airline and It would be 10-15 days. I called a week later just to check the status and I was told that they considered me a no show and not refunding the money. After fighting with them and sending the email stating the airline was refunding the money they said ok call back in a week. Fast forward to today. Called and after being on hold for 2 hours they told me American Air has to refund the money straight to me... guess what... That was a lie. I called them on it and they called the airline who told them to release the money. At the end of this they told me it would still be another week before they could do anything and They were only refunding 220 out of the 700 because I could have driven to Charlotte and got the connecting flight. Charlotte is a 3.3 hour drive The flight was 1 hour and 6 mins we had a 1 hour layover so where was I suppose to make up the other hour and 24 mins? Not real sure,,,,,,, the fight continues. I will never ever recommend Priceline to anyone ever Hope they go bankrupt and close their doors for the way the treat people and the lies the tell.
Answer: The agreed to price is inclusive. I would look at dollar's website before renting from Priceline. There is no layer of protection from prcln.
Answer: With Price Line you may pay a reduced price. However, you get reduced services. Be prepared for hidden costs from the merchant as their ads on Price Line do not include their entire policy.
Answer: I'm not sure what you mean by "receive" the e-ticket. I've booked numerous times through priceline and other intermediaries, but have never received a ticket. I would suggest that you look at the itinerary that you've received from priceline and look for the Airline Confirmation Number (which may be a sequence of letters and or numbers depending on the airline). Then go to the airline's website and look up your flight itinerary. This process also varies by airline, but there should be some menu such as "My Trips" or other itinerary look up option. The airline should be able to find your itinerary based on your name and confirmation number. If your priceline itinerary contains an e-ticket number, you may be able to use that on the airline's website as well. If the airline has your itinerary, you're good to go. You'll be able to check in and get a boarding pass (electronic or print) 24 hours prior to your flight. If the airline has no record of you, then you've got a problem.
