False advertisment
July 6, 2022

Tried to book a car rental for Orlando International airport, the deal has pick up location MCO- Orlando international airport, once I pay they sent an email with a different address for location. I inmediately call and they tell me they can't change and there's nothing they can do because the airport "has other locations that are still considered as airport". I told the person that makes no sense since this is separate company 15-20 minutes away from the airport address. The airport is big but not that big! They would not allow me to change the rental and would not refund my purchase or give me a credit. Totally dishonest and customer service is plagued with incompetent rude representatives. I will never use this site again and do not recommend unless you like being aggravated!

Their lower prices seem tempting, but they raise the price on you at checkout and when you exit out of the page it's already too late once you put in your credit card info. They make it impossible to cancel claiming their "special rates" are non-refundable. That is just a legal cover so you can't back out of their scam.

FindHotel offered a great deal for Disney Animal Kingdom Lodge for a premium room. We purchased it then a week before our trip, we see they adjusted to a standard room so it wasn't a good deal anymore and not the room we purchased.

We have been on the phone for days without a resolution except that WE should cancel the reservation.

Not acceptable! FindHotel is a SCAM!

I recently rented a vehicle through Priceline indicating free cancellations with Hertz Rental Cars and two days later realized how distant the facility is from Seattle. When I tried to revise to a closer site, I was advised by Priceline any change must go through the contractor, Hertz in this case. When I contacted them, the price nearly doubled although I had the same car for roughly the same price as the original rental through Marriott/ Hertz. Then I said OK just cancel, I will keep my other Hertz rental, they stated it would cost $50 as a fee- almost half the rental price That is not a free cancellation, it is trickery. Since it was Hertz I thought I would be in good hands, but obviously not when associated with Priceline. After three hours of trying to contact someone at Priceline, I had no other recourse than the bot dialog which repeatedly asked me questions about my rental, acknoweldeged they had it multiple times, and sent me to other bots who asked everything all over again. When I insisted I wanted to talk to a Human in Customer Service, Carl stated he was a human, but also repeated questions that were included multiple times with earlier bots in the dialog. DO NOT PUT MONEY on a reservation with Priceline thinking you can cancel or change it.

I booked a flight on Priceline however two days later needed to change the flight time (evening to morning). The first phone call (20 mins) ended with the agent stating it would cost me $320 additional to change the flight. I didn't think she was providing accurate info. Because the flight was $441 vs. the initial $502 on the website. Yes, it was less online. So, a called back later in the evening and spoke with a different agent. That phone call took two hours and ten minutes. She was able to change the flight however mentioned there was a $54 credit which Priceline couldn't refund to me. She wasn't able to explain why I couldn't get the credit back to my cc account. After almost three hours of trying to resolve an issue, I gave up. This is the last time I will ever book any travel arrangements through this company.

Went to purchase 3 rooms at a hotel and the price of the hotel was $147.69 + with taxes and fees indicated 166.92. This adds up to $500.76 but on priceline the Total Charges indicated $609.99 which is over $100 more ugh. I spent over 1.5 hours talking with customer service and they WOULD NOT honor the price of $500.76 which is what it should have been. So if you do purchase from PRICELINE make sure your price is correct. However, this is not the first time I had issues with them but it will be my last.

Hi, My name is Hilario James Jr., I have never filed a complaint with the BBB, as I am someone who believes you get what you pay for. I searched on 2/01/22 for a 2 night stay in Gainesville FL to visit our daughter at UF for the nights of 2/11 - 2/13 with Priceline, in my search I specified "Pet Friendly" in my filters, when I was about to book a room, I had a pop-up from Priceline indicating that there was a special discount, if I allowed them to book a hotel out of the 3 select hotels they provided, I agreed and unfortunately for me, they booked the worst hotel of the 3 for $279 total. I still was willing to stay at the hotel until I read a few of the reviews, that stated that customers were turned away when they brought their pets to check-in and upset that they requested a pet friendly Hotel, but the Hotel was not responsible and they needed to go elsewhere. I immediately contacted Priceline customer service on (02/01), and asked that they transfer me to another hotel that was "Pet Friendly" stating I would gladly pay more and there were at least 2 weeks before the initial reserv., the customer service rep., stated there would be no transfer nor will there be a refund and we should just leave our pet at home. This of course led to a debate for approx. One hour, with no resolution. I ended the call by pleading, they cancel the reserv. And telling the rep., I would have to book another hotel for the same timeframe, which the rep., stated that was my problem. Ultimately I had to book another hotel for 2/11 - 2/13,. I tried disputing this charge with my credit card company to no eval. My complaint with Priceline is, if the customer filters the need for a "Pet Friendly Hotel", you should not be offering anything but (ps... the other 2 hotels were pet friendly), and if it were their mistake, they should be willing to transfer or amend the original reservation, for unsuspecting customers. How many victims have they defrauded with this technique & why are they allowed?

Rental Car Ripoff
June 24, 2022

I went through Priceline and rented a car from ACE Car Rental ONLINE…on 02 June 2022 for $320.07. I flew into Las Vegas on 10June 2022, went to ACE, presented my receipt for the PREPAID rental, I was told that the rental agency DID NOT HONOR the prepaid voucher…. Went downhill from there. I'm still out of $320.07. NO ONE WILL RESPOND!

Worse customer service
June 24, 2022

Our flight coming back from Marrakech was changed but the connection flight was left the same. With the new change there was no way we could make the connection flight. We have been contacting Priceline customer service and has been a complete nightmare. Every time they say something different which you can tell are a web of lies.
The last guy we talked to -John, supervisor- was so into the format of what they learn to say, that it was just sickening. No interest in helping the customer at all.
These agents say they have to send an email to TAP to get an approval for the new flights. TAP says that is a lie and there is no such email required when Priceline can do the changes. TAP also said that they are getting a lot of call from customers with the same issue and they don't understand why Priceline is lying to their customers.
Here we are a week later and our flight coming back from Marrakech has not been fixed.
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND NO RESPECT FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS! LAST TIME I WILL USE THIS COMPANY.

In 2020 I booked flights for my husband, daughter and myself for a trip to Toronto from Orlando for my niece's wedding. COVID happened and the wedding got cancelled. I then had to cancel our flights, Priceline did not want to do a refund, they gave us a credit instead. We finally rebooked for June 2022, everything was fine, but our return flight on WestJet got cancelled. We then had to purchase new tickets to return home. Since the flight was cancelled by WestJet I called them and they refunded my husband ticket because it was booked directly with them. They were unable to refund mine and my daughter's because it was booked through Priceline. I was advised to call Priceline for a refund, when I called them I was transferred to three different people, none of whom was able to help me, instead I was told to call the airline. Horrible customer service from Priceline, will never use them again, all they do is give you the run around. Stay away from third parties for anything you do.

Am currently waiting on the phone to talk to a representative from ACE rentals. I accidentally got the dates wrong for my trip. Okay, I get it they won't alter the dates, so all I want to do is extend the date. They said I had to call ACE and they could extend it. When I called ACE they said they could not extend the dates until I extended the insurance. When I called Alliance they said Priceline had to do it. Priceline said they couldn't do anything. Finally as I am writing this I got to speak to an agent from ACE and he told me to just extend it at the rental agency. Priceline is very shady. They have terrible customer service. When I responded to one of their surveys, nobody responded back. Don't deal with Priceline. I could understand their charging a fee for changing dates but it's awful how they lock you into this contract and you have no recourse. My advice when renting a car is deal with the rental agency directly It might cost more but will save a lot of aggravation.

Almost ruined our $2500 vacation
June 21, 2022

Find you another site to use rather than Priceline. They will screw your vacation up royally. We booked a trip to Vegas through them with flights and hotel and the results sucked ace. First off, the flight seats were not together like we clicked on so we had to get the airline to adjust those for us. Second off we chose a Eiffel Tower view room for 2 adults and they booked us a pool view room for 2 adults($75 difference in price). We actually caught that before we left so we called them and what did they do... they cancelled that reservation and made another reservation for 1 adult with a pool view room. So we had to add an another adult to our room which resulted in an extra charge. And third off, they did not include a resort fee of $50 per night in our booking so that was another extra charge. We are back from the trip now and called to see if can get some reimbursement for anything and they keep giving the run around. We can't contact the hotel to see if they will reimburse you any so call us back later... shouldn't you call us back when you have the info? And shouldn't you reimburse us since you made the reservation? Anyways save yourself the trouble, the headache and your wallet and you someone else like Expedia or book the stuff directly yourself with the hotel and airline. Priceline is horrible and we will never use them again. $#*! you priceline.

A complete Scam
June 19, 2022

When I made a reservation through PRICELINE I expected more than what I got. Apparently, PRICELINE avoids telling you about other fees or shall I say slips it in the fine print after you pay them. Additionally, the insurance is not what to expect as they are selling you insurance from a 3rd party.
Here is my suggestion, and that is go straight to the car rental company yourself. TRUST ME I ENDED UP PAYING ADDITIONAL 600+ DOLLARS WHEN I FINALLY GOT THE BILL. THIS IS A COMPLETE SCAM.
