The overall reputation of the company reveals significant dissatisfaction among customers, primarily due to issues with booking accuracy, hidden fees, and inadequate customer service. Many reviews highlight frustrations with non-refundable reservations and uncommunicated changes, leading to feelings of being misled. While some customers appreciated the initial pricing, the subsequent hidden costs and lack of support during disputes overshadowed these positives. A recurring sentiment is a lack of accountability from the company, prompting numerous customers to vow never to use the service again. This feedback indicates a critical need for improved transparency and customer support practices.

Booked a hotel and with in30 min of booking had a medical emergency with my sin so I tried to cancel and was told I could not so they take your money anyway.
Bought a 3 night stay at Bellagio on Priceline because it was a little cheaper, spoke to an agent because I wanted to know if a non smoking room could be guaranteed. He had me hang on the line while he « talked to the hotel « and then came back and told me that he could guarantee me a non smoking room. The next day I see my trip is broken up into 2 different itineraries - the first for 1 night, the second for 2 nights. I call Bellagio and they confirm that they could indeed require me to check out after 1 night and move to a different room because of the way this $#*! set up the reservation. And a non smoking room was not even requested! ( and cannot be guaranteed at Bellagio anyway for that type of room)
As a first user of priceline I searched for a rental car priceline found one and set the price and at the time of pickup the price doubled. With no other choice I payed it. Then when I contacted priceline I chatted with Rycel and was ignored then told to contact the rental agency if I had a complaint. What a way to do business. I wasn't asking for the money back but what if I didn't have enough on my credit card to cover it. Shouldn't I have known up front about all the hidden fees. It was Ace rental car by the way
On the website they had a hotel for a great price listing free wifi. But on receiving my itinerary,
It showed only in public areas. Neither Priceline nor the hotel (Days Inn) would approve the
Cancellation. This is a misrepresentation. Wifi is a common expectation just like the bed and bathroom.
I spoke with Johann at Priceline and they was refused to cancel based on the misrepresentation. It is going to be where we need to call the hotel first to see what is true before making a reservation.
According to trip advisor, Courtside Inn Niagara falls rated 1.2 star. Completely broken rooms, mould in rooms etc. please check the majority reviews and then decide before you book. Once you book without knowing through priceline or booking.com. Priceline Agent told complete Lie. They say it is good hotel. My advise is to read the reviews and book online. There is no refunds or transfers. All your hard earned money is in water. Do not call and book with Priceline or booking.com. Where as most of the hotels you can cancel before you check in. Please read the reviews and book. I have lost 245 CAD by booking through Priceline. All the best guys.
Never buy a ticket on Priceline if it is important that you get home. I was on a European trip when Lufthansa cancelled the first leg of my return trip five days before I was due to leave. Because I had bought the ticket via Priceline I had to work with them to rebook. However, Priceline was so incredibly incompetent that, even though there were flights from Zagreb-Seattle (my route) on the day I was due to fly with seats available, they could not get Lufthansa, who was legally required to rebook me, to agree to a single rebooking request with 30 days. So Priceline cancelled my ticket and I had to buy a new ticket out of pocket at a premium price (last minute in a busy travel season.) To add insult to injury, I only got a refund for 2/3s of what I originally paid for the ticket (it was a round trip, and the way they calculated the refund, I got less than half the amount I paid even though the return ticket was the more expensive route.) Not only did I have to rebook at my own expense, but I had to spend over 4 hours on the phone in a foreign country to even get to the point where I was told I they would not rebook me. So simple advice - if you actually need to get where you are going (or need to get home) DO NOT BUY A TICKET FROM PRICELINE.
Priceline charged us for an international ticket to travel back in 2020. Due to Covid and borders shut I couldn't travel. So now that I have a visa and dates for reschedule their system is unable to proceed with the reschedule.
They apparently are unable to give us the money back either. So they stole from us over US$ 1200
I booked a hotel room on the phone with priceline, the agent during the call put me on hold claiming he was speaking with the hotel. He had me set up a Virtual credit card with affirm to collect the payment for a 3 star, wifi, swimming pool with hot breakfast with several other amenities for July 14 thru 17 we re in town for a family funeral. Upon arrival and seeing the hotel was under construction. I called Priceline to make them aware and try to change hotels they kept telling me they were calling the hotel and that there was no answer so I finally started to calling other hotels in the area and was told there were no rooms available so we stuck, priceline said they would continue to try to call, when I walked into the hotel I was shocked the lobby had NO FURNITURE THE CEILING WAS MISSING, there was NO POOL, there was NO WIFI, The was no nothing there was ants crawling everywhere, once upstairs the rooms were not great I showered with ants one half of the room did not have electric, so the manager bought up a power strip and plug up the micro wave I asked him why he wasn't answering the PHONE he said the phones in the hotel did not work. He said priceline was aware because they have had plenty of customers that have complained and called him on his cell phone. I called Priceline and they have refused t give me a refund. They refuse to give me a refund because they can not reach the hotel the same hotel they claimed to have called when I booked the reservation. But they could not have because there are no working phones in the hotel, the elevator got stuck and I had to climb 3 flights of steps and there was urine i the stairwell. I want my money returned to me immediately I will go all the way t the president of the company if I have to.

This product is great if you have complete flexibility on your travel plans, but a hard no if you have a specific itinerary, which was why I rated 4 of 5. I planned a very cheap trip for a girls weekend on there when I didn't have a specific weekend I had to go, and was able to pull off a trip everyone could afford, just be careful if you have more than 4-6 in your group, can get a little sketch. Overall, great if you're on a budget!
DO NOT USE PRICELINE. THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY. INCOMPETENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEY WILL LIE TO YOU ABOUT YOUR REFUND. THEY SCAM PEOPLE OF THEIR HARD EARN MONEY. THEY SHOULD NOT BE IN BUSINESS.
After booking the wrong dates for our trip we immediately called priceline to cancel it. My husband and I were told that it would be canceled and a notification would be given to us. We waited and did not receive the notification that it was cancel so we called to do so. A new customer service representatives denied our request to cancel and to speak to a higher positioned representative. Horrible customer service.
Recently booked a stay through Priceline and had the worst experience ever. I'm handicapped and do not do well with stairs. Since the motel I chose to book with has a second floor and no elevator, I looked at the Priceline venue to see if there was an option to make a request for a downstairs room. There wasn't. In an email to Priceline with my request, I received a response that stated that they could not do this but to go through their "sister" company, Booking.com. Not sure how these two are related, but I did make my reservation through Booking. All of this happened within the same hour. I went back to Priceline to cancel my reservation through them and the system would not allow me to do so. I sent a second email advising that I had gone through Booking, their system was not working and asked that they cancel my initial reservation. 48 hours later I get a response that I may have to pay for both rooms and, when I got to my motel, sure enough there were 2 reservations for me. Fortunately the desk clerk was kind enough to cancel one of them and I had a downstairs room, not through Priceline, but Booking.com. Priceline-why bother? They don't have the ability to cancel reservations much less take requests and seem to take their sweet time about getting back to you. Booking.com is my new go to.
We made a reservation via phone through priceline to an hotel in London.
We made dozens of reservations this year through them, and was considered VIP gold.
We get a voucher confirming the reservation.
We did all that in March 2022 and the trip should have been on July.
We got to London, after 9 hours flight, only to find out priceline canceled the reservation 2 days before. We didn't receive any notification.
We had to pay 1500$ more!
We called pricelineline at least 20 times, they don't care.
I booked through Price line. The first thing they ask is what dates do you need the room. I put in the dates and found the price. I asked to book now and went through the process. When I was checking out it said my trip was 5 days away. That was not right so I had to cancel that reservation and add new dates. They charged me more for the dates I asked for.
I made a reservation on 7/12/2022 for a trip on August 18th 2022 and was given charge of $570.39 for a 3 night stay at $159 per night using the "pay with Affirm" product. Once I clicked submit I realized that I had not entered the discount code which was provided to me by the hotel staff. I immediately phone Priceline and asked that the reservation be cancelled so that I could enter the discount code which would save me $20 a night x3 ( so my total cost for the 3 day stay would be $471.79), The Priceline representative informed me that I would need to call the 3rd Party "Affirm" and ask them to cancel the transaction, so I did, when I contacted the "Affirm" agent they stated that the transaction was still pending on the Priceline side and that I need to have them release the transaction so that they could cancel it. So I called Priceline back and informed that that the "Affirm" representative told me that Priceline needed to release the transaction At this I was informed that there was nothing they could do. I said then what about the 200% refund if I find a better price. I gave her the discount code, and she stated that she could not enter the discount code on Pricelines' web site to confirm the rate I was given for $139. Per night (*Here lies the problem- me either) So consequently they would not give one of their so called VIP members any help in resolving the error.
I'm so disgusted with this company and will never used them to book anything ever again!
Wish there was 0 start I can select. I will definitely select 0. I booked a flight on Priceline and had to cancel later on cuz of work. They say I get full travel credit back. However, trust me, with the full travel credit you have in hand now, you can do nothing. They have so many rules about those travel credits, like you can't book it with a round trip, but only a one-way trip or you literally can't use the travel credit with Delta to book anything and they had to spend 1.5 hrs to find it ou and tell me that.
Ever since I had to rebook the trip, I spent 4 hrs, just to communicate with what I want to do, the flight details, and eventually nothing was successfully done. So in the end, I just gave up on the so called travel credit as I don't ever want to waste another second of my life with them.
I wish everyone would be aware of what they will encounter once using Priceline. All the money could be gone.
NEVER EVER USE PRICELINE!
I sent them a detailed message with pictures on how dirty the pool was and all they could do was offer me a 15% coupon, First time using priceline but very disappointed
We were excited about our road trip to the States from Canada but Priceline was not sympathetic to us when we told them that our car broke down (needs a new engine $3000 plus...) in NY State and could not get to our hotel nor did we have a way to get home. We had to make a new hotel reservation closer to where our car broke down (towing to the garage a staggering $300!) Soon after we made the reservation, a friend contacted us to pick us up and drive us home. We immediately called Priceline to cancel that hotel and told them about the other hotel... They offered no cancellation, no voucher, no sympathy... Worst customer service ever! I wanted to give them negative stars, but this was not optional.
I'm in Canada booking a Canadian hotel, peices seem decent comparing to competitors, I book the room. Next days I see a charge that's way higher in my account, turns out I paid for USD prices not Canadian and it was indicated nowhere on their site. Contacted customer service chat, 50 minutes later the rep texted 3 times, no progress whatsoever, lost money AND time.
Priceline charged to our credit card, but when we got there the hotel said they only accepted cash and it had not been paid for. We had to pay cash right there and then. We called Priceline's costumer service and they said they could not help us, that they would call us back and they hung up on us. We called back asking to talk to a manager and employee ID to do a follow up on the complaint and they refused to give it. They refused to give it to us and both the manager and the costumer service representative refused to solve the problem.
Answer: The agreed to price is inclusive. I would look at dollar's website before renting from Priceline. There is no layer of protection from prcln.
Answer: With Price Line you may pay a reduced price. However, you get reduced services. Be prepared for hidden costs from the merchant as their ads on Price Line do not include their entire policy.
Answer: I'm not sure what you mean by "receive" the e-ticket. I've booked numerous times through priceline and other intermediaries, but have never received a ticket. I would suggest that you look at the itinerary that you've received from priceline and look for the Airline Confirmation Number (which may be a sequence of letters and or numbers depending on the airline). Then go to the airline's website and look up your flight itinerary. This process also varies by airline, but there should be some menu such as "My Trips" or other itinerary look up option. The airline should be able to find your itinerary based on your name and confirmation number. If your priceline itinerary contains an e-ticket number, you may be able to use that on the airline's website as well. If the airline has your itinerary, you're good to go. You'll be able to check in and get a boarding pass (electronic or print) 24 hours prior to your flight. If the airline has no record of you, then you've got a problem.
