Worst company
September 13, 2022

They are the worst company! My husband and I prepaid for a trip with hotel, flight, and car rental. The hotel was horrible it stunk soo bad in the whole hotel! It had black mold all over in the bathroom I have pictures becausei couldn'tbelievethis was acceptable, it looked liked it hadn't been cleaned in a long time we wore flip flops in the shower because we were Afraid to catch something i asthma so it is a big deal to us but we had no other option since we prepaid for this trip so we were stuck there till we able to come back home and there was spilled whatever it was by the bed no extra pillows 1st breakfast that was only two juices, two cerals and some hostess coffee cake which were gone by the time my husband got there then the next day they only had cereal and some reduced price milk that was sitting out, and the last day they said due to emergency there is no breakfast and the housekeeping was demanding tips from us there was fights and prostitution going on around the hotel and I tried to talk to priceline about the hotel and all they could offer me was a 20% coupon compensation that expires on December 12th! My husband and I don't have any immediate plans to take a trip at the moment so that coupon doesn't even apply to us and they wouldn't do anything else for us. I will never book through them again, they will just take your money and keep it! It saddened me that they can do that with our hard earned money, I will let everyone know not to book with them unless they want to just lose money and get crap in return!

Lost a day of my trip because of priceline lack of Professionalism. They forgot to book my flight so when I got to the airport the flight line did not have my itinerary. I was really frustrated at four in the morning I was calling Priceline customer support but Priceline would not solve my problem and they were just trying to blame the airline for this error. They lied to me over the phone and to the airline because even the airline had to call them to see what was going on. I had eventually missed that day and if wasn't for American Airlines I wouldn't miss my entire trip because they rebook my flight for cheap as they could. I would never work with Priceline again because to this day I still haven't got my money back and when I called them they had seemed like they erased any data of this trip. Sometimes cheaper isn't as great as it sounds. Plus the customer service is extremely rude.

The WORST
September 12, 2022

Bought three round-trip tickets in the early morning of August 18th and realized I spelled a name wrong. I called within hours to adjust and was told I had to cancel, so I did. This process took several phone calls and hours. I also called on September 6th about charges still on my credit card and was told they would take care of it. It is now September 12th and five phone calls later and four hours of my time, they still have a one-way flight for one of the passengers as active and I still have two charges on my credit card. When I asked to talk to a manager, I was transferred to DJ Devine... yes I was told DJ Devine was the supervisor. Devine told me the flight had been canceled and wasn't sure what I was talking about. My response was, then how come the rep who took my call before her, told me since I was canceling a month out I would be charged $300 to cancel this flight? Devine didn't know but she said she would send me an email confirming the cancelation. I only got the email asking about my experience. Still no confirmation about the cancelation.
They have been absolutely incompetent and overall HORRIBLE in every way. I would suggest to anyone to NEVER use PRICELINE.

Booked 4 rooms for 3 nights. Only 3 nights are available at the hotel. When called got the runaround. I spoke with them on the phone - at least 7 times with no resolution. Wasted 6 hours on the calls. Every time they lie stating that hotel is confirmed, don't worry. When called the hotel, they had only three rooms and the 4th one was under some name in the past. Hopeless customer service and incompetent.

Priceline is the worst travel agent to ever use. Try it at your own risk. They do not take care before booking your flight. My transit flight pass through country that my passport could not go through mean why they had all my information before booking the flight. When I was block in a foreign country could not even help to rebooked a different knowing very well that it was their problem. I book a single ticked with two travelers and at the return time at the airport I was told that I have only one traveler on my ticket mean while I paid for two.

Unconcerning over tragedy
September 9, 2022

I used to book on Priceline but have used Expedia for the last few years. I recently decided to give Priceline another chance with a package vacation. 30 hours after I booked my trip I had a death in my family and was no longer able to go on our trip. Priceline not only denied me a refund but also told me that I would have to take the matter up with Spirit Airlines…who of course denied me due to it being only 6 hours over the 24 hr cancellation period. I was devastated and will never use Priceline or Spirit Airline again.

Book direct!
September 7, 2022

Rented a "Luxury SUV" through Priceline at Sixt rent a car in St. Paul MN ended up with a mini van which was half of the price online. Chad Newman (General Manager) offered 50% refund. Priceline said they sent multiple emails with no response so no refund but they will write a bad review about Sixt. I'm out 450$ But Priceline and Sixt get a bad review…. Never again I'm booking direct!

BEWARE!
September 7, 2022

09/03/2022 Hotel was basically a halfway house with scary long term residents. It was a long drive and we were tired so I was willing to see the room. Online it had medium reviews and was said to be nonsmoking however the room reeked of cigarettes so bad my daughter felt sick and there were burns on the bedspreads all over the tub and floors. There were no towels or rags they were all in the wash according to the maid and the bathroom door had been kicked in and would not lock or latch shut and the trim around the door was coming off. Front desk said I had to go through Priceline for a refund and the number in the itinerary email was automated and rejected any of the information I entered after 20min I gave up and called nearby hotels and everyone was booked for the holiday weekend. Had to drive 40min away to a hotel suggested by a family member and of course had to pay full price. The next week I was able to find a number online that accepted my information and found my trip. I could barely understand the person's ascent and after hearing my bad experience was told all they could do was give me 15% off my next booking. After not giving up he finally put me through to his supervisor who informed me that he would have to contact the hotel for their refund (Priceline's) and then they would refund me but it would be up to the (shady) hotel manager. Basically a cat and mouse game and I'm out for that hotel plus the other one I had to get.

Thieves
September 5, 2022

I have travelled most of my adult life & never EVER have I had a worse experience than the one I had w/priceline. 1st: the final charges were much, much higher than shown during online booking. These charges were for a slew of fees none of which were legitimate (resort fees, facility fees, infrastructure fees, fax fees, communication fees, green energy fees, etc., etc., etc.). The hotel was not in a resort. I was a simple street corner hotel. 2nd: the hotel rate billed was not the rate booked. It was higher. 3rd: When I FINALLY spoke w/ a "customer service" all i was told was "we are sorry but we cannot help you any further".
BEWARE: USE PRICELINE AT YOUR OWN RISK. Fool me once shame on you!

I found a lower rate on a different website and wanted to get a price match within the 24 hours. I called Priceline the same day booked and was on hold 40 minutes with no outcome. I then moved to text service to communicate with four different customer service agents. All of them said they would help me and never came back after a while. The following day, I escalated the case and asked for a supervisor. The deal was still lower on another site, but kept fluctuating. I took a screenshots. All of the agents give the same robotic cookie cutter response. I can't find it on the other website, or it's more expensive ( they kept telling me to refresh on my end) despite Agoda.com being a partner of the company. After spending at least four hours to try to get them to honor their own guarantee, I was able to reach a supervisor just after the 24 hours that passed. I knew this was coming, the supervisor said the 24 hours have been over and therefore the guarantee not eligible. Yes he said he did find the deal as the 24 hours were passed, but no longer could honor.
So basically they had me on hold, ignored my texts and did everything they could to avoid actually helping me within the first 24 so they could very easily say my screenshots were no longer valid.
When I tried to cancel the stay, the screenshot says that my room can be cancelled up until the 11:59 the night before check in, they told me I would still get charged for one night. They said that's with the small princess and I should have read it. It should not be legal for them to advertise a price match guarantee, that they go out of their way to not actually help for the first 24 hours and then provide a cancellation rate but still charge a nights rate if you cancel. Very deceptive.

Rental car nightmare
September 4, 2022

Waiting in an approximately 2 hour line in the Boston airport for a budget rental car we prepaid for before we left home. No lines at other rentals, Priceline NO HELP AT ALL! No refund, no transfer, no credit to use later so we can Uber.

Green motion car rental
September 2, 2022

Be careful excepting Green motion as a car rental preference the deposits are extremely high you need proof of insurance with $300,000 I believe liability on it which is insane typically person like my self carriers full coverage 100,000 They don't tell you they want you to have it for three months they're rude! Don't go to them please be aware it's all types of hidden claws within that company. We even waited for shuttle for 20 min! I had to call to be picked up there is also a 7 day waiting period or longer for deposit a lot of upset customers they wouldn't Even give us a ride back on a shuttle to the airport to rent from Avis because they got mad that we told them to speak English when talking about us so we could understand! There comment was were bilingual, I'm like we understand but your speaking on us! Then they pulled this thick packet out, that's when they stated you had to have $300,000 liability on your declaration page for three months which makes no sense who really cares $300,000 liability stay way.

Horrible
August 29, 2022

The car place didn't have the car. Canceled reservation. Site said refund in three days or less. Seven days pass, nothing. Had to call customer service. Rep barely spoke English. Took 20 minutes and then they had to "verify" that I didn't get the car! Now I have to wait three more days. Horrible experience. Will never use again. I felt like they were calling me a liar. No apologies, nothing but wait for an email. Use them at your own risk.

Worst Car Rental Experience
August 29, 2022

Will never use Priceline again for anything! Rented a car through them, and when I got there to pick up the car. They said they had no cars and it would be a 3 - 4 hour wait for one. Completely unacceptable, since I had made an advanced reservation and arrived on time, plus had a 2 hour drive to our destination. They sent me to another company that supposedly had one or two cars. Ending up paying twice as much for another car and they refused to reimburse me for the difference. Terrible customer and even worse company ethics. I would have given zero stars if that was an option.

They are the worst company ever. We missed our flight because of a accident. And they would not rebook us even though we were on the line with their company over 8 hours trying to get any help. They are a unhelpful, greedy company and they have zero concern for the costumer. We paid extra money to get on the flight the next day and they told us that we have tickets but we have to wait on airline approval. We waited till the last second of this second flight, and never received a call from them once. If you are booking any flights with Priceline don't do it. Save the extra money and go through the airline. Absolutely the worst experience of our life they dragged us through the mud.

I just want to let people be aware that they charge a fee if you cancel within 30 days. So I booked a trip to the beach in 2 weeks and cancelled it, Within 2 days of booking trip. And now they are charging me over $300 for this. Well this is not within the 30 days because I booked within 2 weeks and because it's policy they will not refund me. So imagine how much money they are making when you don't read the fine print, ok all of these people they are charging this. But you don't know until after you book. They don't tell you, then it's too late.
