The overall reputation of the company reveals significant dissatisfaction among customers, primarily due to issues with booking accuracy, hidden fees, and inadequate customer service. Many reviews highlight frustrations with non-refundable reservations and uncommunicated changes, leading to feelings of being misled. While some customers appreciated the initial pricing, the subsequent hidden costs and lack of support during disputes overshadowed these positives. A recurring sentiment is a lack of accountability from the company, prompting numerous customers to vow never to use the service again. This feedback indicates a critical need for improved transparency and customer support practices.

During the holiday season, I tried to purchase a flight on Priceline.com, but the site processed my money but wouldn't provide me with a ticket because the price went up in the middle of my transaction. They reneged on the pricing, and it was a nuisance to get my money back a day later. After discussing the issue with a supervisor named Yanis, I learned that no one there cared that prices were going up on other sites; this was the worst service I've ever had. Never again will I visit this site.
Priceline double booked me for a car rental because of a website glitch on THEIR end. I called their customer service and was told that because of their "No cancellation policy", they cannot cancel and refund me for the second booking—even though the malfunction occurred on their side! I am being charged for 2 cars for the same dates and same driver when I only booked one! They are scam artists!
We tried to book hotel reservations through Priceline online and it kept saying that my card wasn't a valid card, yet they took my money gave us no reservations and told us that we were beat for a refund. We told them that we were from Ontario and that we were stranded in b.c and ask them to either reverse the charge on my card or transfer the funds to another hotel and they told us that we were beat for the refund! Are you kidding me? It's the middle of December and it's been a torrential downpour for the past week and they just f*cked us over. DO NOT USE PRICELINE!
1- The agents can barely speak English so you have a hard time understanding what they're saying
2-They will take your money and leave you out in the cold streets to fend for yourself
F*CK YOU PRICELINE
Priceline is awful. Everything that was once good has been taken away from their offerings. Terrible customer service, no refunds no matter what. Crappy prices. DO NOT USE
I was using Priceline for several years. Four months ago I booked and paid a full advance for my upcoming Four months later trip to Hawaii thru Priceline and carefully read every single detail to make sure about the contract several times. But when my wife and I arrived from a 20-hour drive and flight, the hotel asked for a resort fee that was never mentioned anywhere in our contract. It was mentioned in the contract that the price included all fees and taxes. So I had to call Priceline customer service and talked with a nonexpert representative. After explaining every single detail, she put me on hold for a long period of time and told me I had to pay whatever the hotel asked. So I had to ask to talk with her supervisor, again and again, being on hold for a long time. After waiting for a long time on hold the supervisor introduced herself as Katie. Again, I had to explain from the beginning every detail and heard the same answer so it becomes clear to me, they don't care about the customers and their contract details. Because I already paid in advance I had no other choice (after a very long exhausting trip and having to stand more than an hour to talk or be on hold). I have the full contract as well as every single screenshot of the processing of the reservation. Nowhere it is mentioned I was supposed to pay any extra fee at the place.
What they did was totally illegal and a kind of scam. I had to pay more than the usual price, although I already paid fully in advance Four months ago. It was the worse reservation I ever had considering the time it took and the headache it caused for me. They are not reliable and they have the worst customer service and support. Zero satisfaction. Never use their scam services.
I booked a room thru Priceline after looking at their site, they have some good rates but don't tell what hotel it is until you book it and once book you can't cancel and it's paid for so you could end up at a roach motel, soni get to the hotel to check in i was advised there is a $100 deposit, the agent didn't disclose that at all during our call, so I called back and the agent I got told me that it was in the disclosures that I had to read, I repeated multiple times that it was booked over the phone and there was no disclosure to read during the phone call… I would not use Priceline ever again
The flight canceled by the Airline ( Air Canada Flight number AC8776 December 24) and everyone can see that in the Air Canada website) but the Priceline didn't accept that and told me you didn't show up. Not only me all passengers was there unit 11:50pm and we got cancellations confirmation email too but the Priceline didn't accept that.
Not honest and not responsible people and company.
Their customer service is horrible. Even, the customer service supervisor is not willing to help and rather she hangs up the phone on me. I lost my money as they refused to refund my money. Folks who read this review, I strongly recommend you to say away from Pricline
Worst customer service and inflexibility. This company is terrible. It's pulling teeth to get them to work with flight credits. Talk directly to the airlines (they will also tell you this company is horrible)
I'll never use them again
Priceline wouldn't let us cancel 1 day of our trip because of bad weather. Not our fault. If we stay we would be unable to get back home on last day. This is a rackets and I will never us
E priceline ever again.
I would not recommend anyone to this website. First of all the site automatically changed my booking date after I've already chosen my room and paid for it. Second I've called priceline immediately afterwards and they gave me the run around the entire day about putting on the phone to change my booking date to the right one. So when I finally called the hotel I booked and it turns out that Priceline tried to scam me out of my money I was overcharged for the room and the hotel manager had told me that Priceline haven't even deposited them the money they took out my account for the room. So do not even waste your time with these people because I've had to report them.
I wish I could give -******* review to Priceline for the customer service that they give to there customers. I booked a flight with them and had to cancel it due to testing positive for Covid a day before my travel date. They didn't gave me refund even I sent them my positive test results instead they gave me credit to use for my future bookings and that credit expires within a year and I can use that credit with same airline I booked. I didn't used my credit because I didn't had any plans to travel so I requested them if they can extend the voucher. First of all they did not agree and then after talking to them and there management I was offered an extension for another year to use that credit but here was the trick my credit decreased with the extension first I had total credit of $1050 and with the extension it came to $300. I mean what a lie and how they manipulate there customers is to next level. Worst customer service I feel like my money was wasted with them I would never recommend anyone to book through Priceline you want to waste your money you want to throw your money in trash go book with Priceline and they will give you the worst service. There agents doesn't know anything there supervisor doesn't know anything every time they will transfer the call to there higher authority no body knows any rules or how to take care of customer whose money is sitting with you guys when I didn't really used it for anything. I swear I really want people to read this review and do not I am repeating please do not waste your money by booking with Priceline. Instead go book through an airline atleast they listen to you and refund you if you tested positive or doesn't treat you like trash or other airlines don't hold your money for no reason. They are just here to scam you with keeping your money. I hope there higher higher management reads my review and understand how people are struggling with there agents and there service that they are claiming is best.
I canceled a reservation before it went through and Priceline charged me anyway. Not knowing that they charged me and our plans finalized, I booked my reservation. I contacted them and they told me I couldn't be refunded. I asked to speak with a manager and the same customer service rep came back on the line and pretended to be a manager. I'm disgusted to have given them $157.97. I will never use them again.
Price line is a disgusting company. This company use to be good but has slowly become as trash company. Do not use price line. Do not pay price line.
Worst booking experience ever. They got my email address wrong resulting in not being able to get a copy of my receipt. They have NO customer service skills AT ALL! Everything automated, only way to contact them is Text Chat about a problem. After an hour of very, very slow text responses they claim to not be able to find where I even reserved the room. (Which I had already stayed in)...guess if I never made the reservation I shouldnt be charged huh?
DO NOT USE, very unprofessional and unorganized
(Sorry Capt Kirk)
Priceline from bad companies going the wost companies, Book hotel room only, website over breakfast and@ more money, find hotel never over breakfast, also most hotel room we travel have BUGS & worst thing BEDBUGS.
And hotel told us to get refund because 3 part companies, never return money because excuse no refund policy.
Priceline your are $#*!holl people's CON, MANIPULATE People's
Let me start by saying I never would've found this rate without a travel engine like Priceline. My room rate was very good compared to normal prices and was exactly what I could afford. On the other hand Priceline charged me 63% of the total room cost in fees and services. When I compare this to what the hotel would've charged, the hotel would charge 19%. So obviously this is how Priceline makes money on people who book with them. I understand making a profit but this was exorbitant and the only reason I booked was because I had a little time to search and it still ended up being a decent price. I absolutely WILL NOT use Priceline again
This is a trick to get all details from the customer with low-price offers. They offer some excellent prices and ask you to fill in all your details including the bank details to book tickets. When you provide all your details, they just revert back stating the price changed now and need to pay extra if you want to book your tickets. Secondly, all look like Asian-based agents and use fake names to communicate with customers. When checked they say it is company policy. So be alert that it may be fake to get all your details.
I went through priceline to book a hotel for 4 nights. I was charged $311. When I checked out my receipt for the 4 nights stay was only $228.08. So just to use their site to book a hotel was around $83. So from now on I will NEVER use Priceline again and I urge anyone thinking about using their site to do a little research and find the good deals yourself.
Horrible Experience at Fox Denver Airport 75th Ave location. Had to take time out of our vacation to exchange cars due obstructed front window - let us drive off with it. Took hours out of our vacation. The most concerning was the drop off at 4:30am for a 6am flight. We were told the AIRPORT location does not open until 5:00am and there was no car drop off or shuttle! We were told "drop it off around back" and leave the keys locked inside and we were liable if anything happened. Around back was dark and 20 degrees we had to walk around the facility to the front and wait in the cold for a Lyft. The resolution was I should have read the website policy closer. Unacceptable. Stick with a name brand.
Answer: The agreed to price is inclusive. I would look at dollar's website before renting from Priceline. There is no layer of protection from prcln.
Answer: With Price Line you may pay a reduced price. However, you get reduced services. Be prepared for hidden costs from the merchant as their ads on Price Line do not include their entire policy.
Answer: I'm not sure what you mean by "receive" the e-ticket. I've booked numerous times through priceline and other intermediaries, but have never received a ticket. I would suggest that you look at the itinerary that you've received from priceline and look for the Airline Confirmation Number (which may be a sequence of letters and or numbers depending on the airline). Then go to the airline's website and look up your flight itinerary. This process also varies by airline, but there should be some menu such as "My Trips" or other itinerary look up option. The airline should be able to find your itinerary based on your name and confirmation number. If your priceline itinerary contains an e-ticket number, you may be able to use that on the airline's website as well. If the airline has your itinerary, you're good to go. You'll be able to check in and get a boarding pass (electronic or print) 24 hours prior to your flight. If the airline has no record of you, then you've got a problem.
