After waiting patiently for two hours, while the app constantly postponed my order, I suddenly received an email, saying my order ha been canceled! With no explanation what so ever, not to mention last message on the app said my driver picked up the order and be at my door in 7 minutes, then boom cancel!
Soooooo embarrassed that I have invited a friend for sushi night at my place. Customer service did not answer my follow ups…. Sooooo frustrated
Would never ever order with Postmates
Postmates is not reliable, delivers cold food, gives you the option to cancel but will STILL charge you, doesn't give you a credit if they mess up and very difficult to reach customer service.
Half my order was missing and no way to contact anyone at Postmates. Will never use Postmates again.
I used to order frequently from them. I ignored the fact that I had to order priority to get the delivery to my office. I ignored the fact that many of their drivers could not communicate in English. I contacted them 5 times today after my order for a salad with extra cheese and chicken was delivered with no chicken and no cheese. I just got a box of lettuce. This time there was no response. I am disputing the charge and never ordering again. I probably spend $150 to $200 per week on them.
I was on the computer when my husband decided he would like a sub and asked me to order one. Instead of going to my phone and ordering through the app or typing in jerseymikes.com, I just googled Jersey Mikes and a table came up with order, website, and directions buttons. I clicked on order, put in our order and payment and my husband left for the store. Then it hit me that the price I paid was more than I remembered paying in the past. I went to the official Jersey Mikes website and sure enough, the #17 Mike's Famous Philly cheese steak sub was $14.75 ($15.71 with tax) on the website - I had just paid $17.85 ($19.01 with tax) using the 'order' button. I was upset. I cut coupons. We decided to get a sub for dinner because I received a message earlier saying we would receive double points if we purchased a sub today and by using the 'order' button I wound up paying $3.30 more for the same sub and NO double points!
I immediately called the store and spoke to a person who called over the manager. The manager told me I had to call the place where I placed the order - I did not realize I did not order through Jersey Mikes and could not find who I ordered through. I finally realized 'Postmates' was a delivery service - which I didn't want. I tried contacting them and got no where - the 'live chat' disconnected me. By this time my husband had returned with the sub - we always get the giant and split it as it is cheaper - and we ate it. It was delicious, but I had this bitter taste in my mouth from being 'taken advantage of.'
I ordered 9 items and most importantly my granddaughters needed to be fed. My granddaughters happy meal came with no fries and couldn't give her my fries because my large fries didn't arrive and my other granddaughters didn't get the 2 orders of 6 piece nuggets and had to give them our burgers and we had to starve and customer service # is busy and I only got an $11 refund from an automated system and us adults had to basically starve, because we gave our food to the kids NEVER ORDERING again and food was beyond cold.
Placed a food order with postmates and the driver picked up the and NEVER DELIVERED IT... huge disappointment as it was a hassle to get refunded, ppl of u luv throwing ur money away, by all means use this company than but if you value ur money stay away from this delivery site as the drivers are thiefs n the company n the restaurants will not help u get ur money back...
Ug! Postmates is the worst! My company gave us a $20 card to buy lunch today. I stupidly ordered through postmates. I patiently waited for my order to be delivered. My phone rang but by the time I got to it, the call had ended. I tried calling back but got an automated recording saying that the call can't go through because it isn't the number that I have on my account. That is not true, I only have one phone number. The driver never knocked on my door or rang my doorbell. There is NO WAY to contact postmates on line about issues like this. I went outside and there was no one yet on postmates my order was marked as delivered! I was charged $20 for food I never received. Through a long winding way I was able to send an email to postmates and they responded by saying I didn't contact them the proper way and there are plenty or correct outlets on their website to contact them. That simply isn't true. I spent like 30 minutes clicking on every possible link on their website and never found a place to contact them. They also responded by saying my card wasn't charged since the driver marked it not delivered (although on postmates it shows it was marked as delivered) but the card definitely reflects charges and now I can't use that card to order from somewhere else.
Ordered from smashburger. It charged me double. The sandwich and fries were 13 and some change. I paid $27. An hour and a half later my food just barely arrived and its freezing cold. Granted its snowing in Denver right now but its a 5 min drive from restaurant to my job. I will never ever order from them again.
Wow disappointed again by your service! Dishonest and just awful! Cancel an order before every option closes smooth move kids. That's how responsible you can be at a job!
The fact that Postmates hasn't got my order right once just says it all. $#*!ing dog $#*! company that can't get a damn order right. Doesn't matter the restaurant I order from it always comes with missing items or incorrect altogether.
We've been using Postmates for a while. In the beginning it was great! Lately, though, we've been informed that our delivery driver has one or more stops to make after picking up our order. Which means we receive cold, soggy food. I have no idea how the drivers decide what order the orders are delivered in, but, regardless, the system is extremely flawed!
This is the 4th time Postmates driver took order to the wrong address. Maybe you should make sure the drivers can read and write English before putting them on the road!
This is the second time that I have ordered threw Postmates and my order has been canceled after it was supposed to be delivered
Charge you a yearly fee with no authorization. Give NO phone number, NO email address, NO reliable way to contact them to dispute or cancel.
Since moving to FL last month, my experience with Postmates has been terrible. My first mishap was when I was delivered food that smelled like the driver was chain smoking cigarettes in the car. Postmates refunded me. Since then, I continue to have issues and now postmates is refusing to take responsibility because I've requested too many refunds which is nonsense (and maybe they should address this with their employees that keep messing up). My recent experience, I ordered from Wawa and received everything but my $5.00 coffee. When I notified Postmates, they refused to give me a refund because I've received a recent refund in the past (which was valid). I contacted the manager at Wawa, Ashley, and she confirmed my coffee was left there by the driver. I let Postmates know that this again is not my fault and the manager confirmed it was never picked up and THEY STILL REFUSED TO GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK! I'm at a loss for words. How are they allowed to keep my money if I was not given the item I paid for. I will continue to escalate this until I find a resolve. I will also neve use Uber/Postmates again. I'd rather walk then use a service that can just get away with messing up and stealing peoples money.
If I could give them 0 stars I would they lied and said they was going to refund me because my order never came and it switched to like 4 or 5 different drivers. So I told them and they canceled it then told me that I would receive my refund in 3-5 business days, but It has been more then 12 days all together and still no refund.
I ordered at 6pm waited until 8:10 pm for my food they gives me 3.68 credit buy im paying 26.00 im so pissed then they canceled my order without telling me I go look at the map and my order was canceled by them sad ill never use this company again
Everything is massively overpriced, even more than Doordash and Uber eats; the interface is nearly exactly the same as uber eats. Oh, and to make matters worst; they try to draw you in with "deals". They sent me a email saying "HEY! LINK YOUR ACCOUNT AND GET $10 OFF FOR FREE!" OK cool lemme try that.
Yeah it's $10 off if you spend $35 NOT counting their insane service and delivery fee's. Postmates does not offer anything compared to Uber Eats, Doordash, and Grubhub; feels like a rip off and does not respect your time at all.
I had no idea this company is related to Uber, I tried to order some food to be delivered and the driver only waited 1 minute for me to arrive from a tall building to come and get the food. After that there was no way to contact the driver or the company, Basically they stole my food and charged me for the pleasure.
Answer: I got charged twice instead of once. For my delivery now that they made a mistake and didn't take care of it I'll never use postmate ever again
Answer: They Don't answer you back until after 5 days so that they can say "Unfortunately we will not give you your money back because we only issues refunds if the claim is made in a timely manner" horrible company
Answer: Their app has all type of glitches and issues they did the very same to me I didn't even sign up for their free trial but I am now having to dispute a charge of 95.88 on my account. I was charged for orders I never got and also I reached out to them multiple times never got anything back. They actually put on the app that the order was resolved when I have never spoken to them this company is a fraud and I do not know why they are still in business! I'd say remove your card information.
