Will not me return a brand new item. I have opened a dispute with credit card company. Stay away from this place...
Be aware of false advertisement Poshmark allows. I bought pajama showing both top and pants on the picture and I only received the top. Poshmark is not helping me with this issue. They won't allow me to return it and get money back. I totally overpaid for a used piece of pajama top.
I ordered a product on Poshmark and created an account. When I received an email from the seller with a link to a message for me, I was unable to log into my account. I emailed Poshmark, but they don't answer. After 2 weeks I still have not received my package and have no idea where it is or how to find out.
Company does not care about their customers. I purchased a pair of running shoes described and shown as being in like new used condition, with no visible flaws and tread that made it look like they had only been worn a couple of times. Well, the shoes began to split apart between the sole and upper after wearing them once on the first day. The listing had made no mention or shown any pictures of this defect, but it's clear this was a problem the seller knew about and had attempted to hide by re-gluing the shoe where it was coming apart. I opened a case the next day and poshmark said it was my fault because I wore them. I guess it's my fault for putting shoes on my feet, moving around in them, and expecting them to stay intact. $115 wasted on my end and poshmark's idea of making it right was giving me $5 credit. I'm sure there are plenty of good deals to be found on poshmark, but it's clear they won't stand by you when the shady ones happen.
Purchased a John Hardy sterling silver 22k gold bracelet that was in excellent condition on eBay. The bracelet was sent to eBay GIA department and passed inspection.
The bracelet was relisted on PoshMark. I used the eBay's sellers photos and exact description. When the bracelet sold, it went to PoshMark's concierge department. The bracelet was approved by PoshMark and sent to the buyer. The buyer stated that the bracelet was not as described and had two dents on it that were not disclosed in the listing. PoshMark approved the sellers case and the bracelet is being returned back to me.
The John Hardy bracelet went from eBay directly to PoshMark. The box was unopened.
Had this been any other seller, the case would have been declined.
Every single time a buyer opens a case against me, buyers win 100% of the time.
Once a month poshmark asks me (everybody) to review reported listings and mark whether or not I agree a certain listing is a reproduction. What do I know about the difference beween an authentic Coach bag and a reporduction? I just press, YES, YES YES. I Agree. I Agree. They are ALL reproductions. If they want to ask me stupid questions then they can get stupid answers.Normally the reported listings are just from disgruntled shoppers trying to make trouble... Poshmark is run by clowns. They should call themselves circustime
This is the absolute WORST, WORST, WORST company EVER! Don't walk...RUN from doing business with Poshmark! I purchased a belt that was NOT in excellent condition as the seller described. Good luck trying to return ANY item. I followed their return policy to the letter and instead of kindly accepting my return, they make you jump through hoops asking for more pictures which was ridiculous in my case since the problem wasn't visual...the belt was worn and stiff which wouldn't be reflected in a photo. When I made this point to them they ignored me. They refused to answer me so I wrote another message asking for an update to my response...again...silence. Finally the only response I DID get was a denial of my return. I WAS FLABBERGASTED! Are you kidding me? In this day and age of companies focusing on the customer experience, this company is doing the opposite over a $60 BELT!
Again, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! Buy on Ebay, Amazon or any of the other thousands of companies that let you return an item!
I sold my expensive sauna which I purchased for nearly $2,000 and sold for less than $500!
It's been a month since I shipped it and I emailed Poshmark over 100+ times, wrote 2 negative complaints on Better Business Bureau and they still claim "they need time to investigate".
They just don't want to pay.
I am also a Posh Ambassador 2 but it means NOTHING TO THEM!
Sold pair of Kate Spade shoes. Bubble wrapped and bagged shoes. Buyer complained of "crease" on side of shoe. Absolute nonsense.and Poshmark agreed with the buyer. This would not be such a big deal if the site was more productive.but it's gone down hill in the last couple of years.due to the Live Show additions and in general, both buyers and sellers are more into scamming then being authentic. The fees are high and customer service is almost non existent. I sell 4 times as much on eBay and can actually talk to a live person. Also in researching items, the algorithm does not function well. I am almost glad this happened as I am shutting my account down.too much work, too little reward.
I bought a pair of pants. In the ad, the seller claimed the pants were size 38 waist. When I received the pants they were a size 32. Mistakes happen so I initiated a return. It wasn't enough for them to review the ad a look at the photo I sent with a tape measure showing the actual waist size. They want natural light photos, perfectly placed pants with no wrinkles, photos of the inseam, waist, rise, and length, and they wanted it within 48 hours. I sent them what they requested, and their response was to request the same information again. They suck at returns. I have cancelled my account that has been active for 8 years.
I place an order on a Sunday morning. I did my research and found a few different places to purchase, one of which offered free delivery. I decided to check one more site, Poshmark. They offered the item that I wanted at a cheaper price, but didn't give me options for shipping quotes. I decided to start the order since sometimes that option is only presented at the very end. But when I press to continue thinking that I was going to be taken to delivery options, the system told me that the purchase had been completed. The final prize was much higher than any other sites because of a ridiculous high shipping cost that I didn't even approve or was offered as an option. I emailed customer service department to cancel the order. I received an automatic email acknowledging received of my cancellation request. But 24 hours later, they emailed me telling me that the item had been shipped, and they could not cancel the order, which is weird since my cancellation request had been made 24 hours prior, on a Sunday, within minutes after ordering. About a week later, I received the item, and not only was the bag where it came in broken, and the packaging for the item opened, but it was a completely different item of lesser value and quality. At that point, I requested a return, to wish they replied that they were not going to accept my return Because the item had never been misrepresented. I sent them screenshots of the order with the description and picture on their website of what I order, and pictures of what I actually ended up receiving, which are two completely different items. I also sent pictures of the opened package, which points out to the fact that it was not even brand new as they advertised. They refused to accept the return, and they even have the audacity to say that as long as their description is accurate, they will not accept returns, even If the item I receive doesn't fit their own description, which makes no sense, and only shows how professional company, and how they are out there only to deceive and deceive. In their eyes, the item you purchased doesn't have to be the same that you ordered or in the condition they advertise it as long as you receive something. I had to contact my American Express to dispute the charge, which they responded by saying that is not uncommon from such companies. I would never recommend anybody to do business with these company. It's a scam.
I am a newbie at Poshmark. Set up an account yesterday. Started listing a few items and things started going crazy! Emails and different message popping up wanting info about this or that. Then I got a message saying someone wanted to purchase an item. Okay. I got an email that said I had to click a link indicating I accepted their offer, which brought me back to the Poshmark website. When I got back to their website a customer e]service chat box opened. It all went down hill from there. The person doing the chatting told me I had to add a credit card to my account so money could be loaded and said credit card HAD to have a balance of $200 to verify the credit card was legitimate. Stupid me, I loaded money onto a credit card since we keep zero balances on our cards. Scam. They took the $200 and then tried to get another $200! I tried to find a Postmark customer service area and sent them a message. Not sure if I'll hear back or get my money back.
I recently purchased a pair of tennis shoes from Poshmark since I have worn several pairs of the same shoes before and needed a fresh pair. The shoes were in my usual size and when I tried to put my foot into them, they were too small and would not fit. I was asked for photos of the problem of the miss labeled size and because I have several pairs of the shoes, I was able to show the difference in size between them. Poshmark said that they did not receive multiple emails of photos that I sent them and closed my case! I was told to re-sell the shoes to someone who would have the same problem that I had! They are disreputable and I warn anyone that this could happen to them. I am out $56. For shoes that I cannot wear!
As a 5 star seller and Posh ambassador, I was scammed by Poshmark. After selling 2 fun bags they cancelled the sales. I had already mailed the bags to sellers. Both sellers received their bags and owe me my earnings. Poshmark is now run by schemers and scammers that refuse to right all the wrongs. I have sold many of these bags on their site before. My hunch is scammers convinced them to cancel sales after my bags started postal tracking.
Let buyer return item due to smoke oder claim. I don't smoke. Pretty sad a buyer can put in false claim and get by with it. I'll stick with Ebay
The advertised listing was misleading. I received the wrong color backpack. The listing had 5 pictures of a teal backpack and I received a black one. I opened a case with Poshmark to simply return the item and have them issue a refund since they were discrepanies in the listing but case closed with no explanation. One can not list multiple pictures in the listing of one color and then send a different color and only stating in small print --all black. What is all black. The inside, the box being shipped, or the zippers, etc.? The pictures should match the item and match the small print. Otherwise, what is the purpose of the pictures? ALSO the title stated nothing of the color of the item which is the first and best representation of the product. Small print is for more details and further description of the condition, not to see if the pictures are not accurately represented. Also on Poshmark, I made an offer and then they automatically accepted and shipped it immediatley before I even authorized the sale-- within minutes. These are not standard fair business practices. Again, I would like a refund or be provided a free return shipping label and I will gladly return the item for the refund.
The pictures are the one I recieved and the second picture is the showing the color of backpack in the listing.
I recently purchased an expensive ivory designer gown. When it arrived there were obvious gold accents. Poshmark refused to stand behind their product guarantee.
I bought a cream for my wife. We paid $7 to get it shipped. 2 days turned into 2 weeks before it arrived.
When we got it the contents were leaking from a broken container all over the plastic. The product was defective.
We are trying to get a refund, but they are making it extremely difficult. Don't ever do business with them. They cannot be trusted.
Bought a Large tote according to pictures and no measurements listed. Received a mini tote no bigger than a large sandwich bag. Refund denied. They took seller side because she's a high producer and offered me a $5 shopping credit after I spent $55 plus 7 in shipping
I ordered a blouse from postmark and the seller didn't have the decency to email me and let me know that the the blouse had been sold or what. So beware *******@wardrobefind.
Answer: You've got to be smart about shopping online these days. There are scammers wherever you go. That said, if you follow the guidelines and steer clear from trading, which most sites don't condone, then you'll be fine. I've purchased over 100+ items on poshmark and have sold over 90+ with complete success, with the exception of the one time I decided to trade... I've purchased low prices items before and received junk a couple times, but Poshmark ALWAYS refunded me! Maybe I'm super savvy, so here's what I always do: 1. Always checkout the seller's reviews. 2. Always ask if there are any flaws with used items. 3. Always ask if sizing is TTS: "true to size" 4. And most importantly, always ask if it's authentic (unless otherwise specified in the description) These 4 questions have always led me to receiving exactly what I wanted and at half the retail price! Plus, it's so much fun! I've made a considerable amount of income from it, while also adding a nice set of items to my own closet! Good luck out there!
Answer: I have received every item I have ever bought on poshmark. It arrived on time and was in the exact condtion as was promised and how it appeared in the pics.
Answer: Well yes she received the boots and probably didnt like them or they didnt fit etc. she is trying to get her money back by trying to re sell them for 70.00 however she would only get 56.00
Answer: It took a long time, but today Poshmark said they refunded the entire purchase amount plus shipping because the booties I ordered were misrepresented. It took About a month and a half. Two times they offered me small credits toward another Poshmark purchase. I filed a very well documented (12 pages of emails, screen shots of the ad and screen shots of dialogue between me and the seller, Kimology) fraud claim with my credit card company, and I emailed Poshmark's customer service to advise them. Two days later they told me they were refunding my money. We'll see if that happens. Poshmark's customer service is terrible, but persistence paid off. Best of luck to you!
Answer: Ask probing questions: non-smoker? Ever been dry cleaned? How worn is it? Cats? Etc
Answer: I have the total opposite reaction to this question. This mystery group that decides what the outcome will be is ridiculous. You can't talk to anyone, and my last attempt to get support through emails, took one month! Not a fan of learning who the good sellers are by trial and error...
Answer: She probably stalked the other seller's listing and found you commented on the item you purchased. So technically, yes they can see what you buy as long as you commented something on the purchased listing.
Answer: Be careful on posh because they do not have your back. There is a lot of scandalous people on posh. Be careful on ebay as well. I bought a Michael Kors set on ebay that was listed as excellent condition but it was stained and reeked of cigarette smoke. Ebay did not refund my money. They said since it wasn't listed as brand new with tags I was screwed. I was out $315. Who wants a handbag and wallet that smells like shit? I think twice before buying on Ebay since that experience. Shame on the dishonest seller and Ebay for allowing that behavior. Good Luck!
Answer: Have you sent an email to Poshmark support? I have before and they did respond
Answer: You unfortunately cannot return an item if it doesn't fit. It's best to ask the seller the measurements of the item, if they tell you the wrong measurements you can return it. If they will not give you the measurements then don't buy from them. I'm new to selling on Poshmark and I will allow people to return their items if they don't fit because I believe that's what's right, you will find other good sellers!
