Beautiful Cat, set up perfectly for 4 couples to share. Plenty of space and well appointed kitchen/galley. Fridges/ice box worked a treat. Thanks to *** for helping us get refuelled, re watered and back out mid trip to continue our fabulous adventure.
I loved this holiday. My second time on Whitsundays - the most beautiful and stress free sailing in the world. "Southern Man", our home for a week, was well equipped and a perfect fit for 4 couples. *** provided an excellent briefing & did everything he could to help us get the very best from our stay. We definitely will be back.
The boat was perfect. Loading on and off was a bit difficult without help otherwise the boat had everything we needed for a great getaway!
Best holiday ever couldnt recommend *** and his Catamaran more highly, we as a group had so much fun. The catamaran was very well equipped with everything we could possibly need. We mainly sailed but also motored around the islands and everything worked smoothly. If there was ever a problem *** was only a phone call away. We definitely hope to be back sailing the Whitsundays on œSouthern Man in the very near future.

I cannot believe how brilliant this holiday was. Even the booking process with *** was so much fun. Then we met *** He is such a great guy and handled our rookie crew with care and laughter during the briefing. He is so passionate about his boats and the Great Barrier Reef.
Great fleet of luxury Yachts, awesome service and a brilliant company to charter with. Nothing was left to chance here. We have used Portland Roads before and definitely will do again. And again.
Fantastic first time experience for all six of us, We enjoyed the snorkelling, sailing, whale watching, motor boating, fishing, swimming, navigating, star gazing, beach walking, exploring islands, nature, scenery - all together an amazing trip with many great moments and memories.
Excellent communication. Well appointed. Briefing was good. Boat was easy to handle even when the conditions got up to 25 knot winds. Acres To the boat was a little tricky at times and had to be sure footed.

First time sailing the whitesundays and the boat ruby thursday was fantastic. So impressed Im booking again for next year.
Our first time to Whitsundays and we'll definitely be back to bareboat charter with the Portland Roads guys. Thanks to *** for all your patience (apologies for all our 'first timer' questions!) and no end of great local advice, to our briefer *** for awesome support throughout the whole trip and the obvious behind the scenes effort - the boat was presented impeccably and spotlessly clean! We chartered "***" with three couples onboard; everything exceeded our expectations - importantly also for the non-boating crew in our group. A quality boat with excellent facilities, was easy to run and has great living spaces. Should mention the whales (under the boat), dolphins, turtles and dugongs. Our best holiday in a long while and we'll do the same again! Thanks again everyone!
