I signed up for the free trial and decided in the end that I wanted to cancel as the subscription just didnt fit into my budget. I had a bit of a hard time cancelling because my computer is so slow, but I called their customer service line and they were very helpful and friendly so I was able to cancel without much hassle. Playster was fun to try, but for now, I will avoid a monthly subscription.
This site could be the next big thing if they play their cards right. There is a lot of content. They need to work on organizing it better because the potential for cross-media recommendations is a really cool idea. There is a lot of good stuff on Playster, they just need to make it easier to find.

Playster has a lot of content, but their books collection is easily the best of what they have to offer. If you are a reader I would definitely recommend their service, but if you are looking for other content, I’d maybe wait to see if they can bring it to the same level as their books.

We love all the content in our collection, but if you're only on Playster to read, we'd suggest signing up for our books-only subscription, which gives you access to our complete e-books and audiobooks library for a lesser rate than you pay for the full-package deal. Hi. Just a quick review about Playsters horror movie selection. Some good stuff in here, a lot of off the beaten path horror movies you might not think to watch otherwise. The selection varies quite a bit based on your geographical location, so make sure you have a VPN installed to get the best use out of your membership. If anything, the free trial is a whole month, so you can sign up and have a lot of horror movies available when you want to watch them (its Halloween soon!). Maybe not as good as Netflix, but definitely not a bad service.

Playster is definitely a cool idea. All kinds of entertainment (movies, games, music and ebooks) through one site. No where else can offer such a selection. However they need to work on their site before it can be something truely great. It is very slow right now and can be hard to search for things. That said they have a very good selection of things, especially with regard to books and some quite good movies. You just have to be patient to find what you are looking for.

I joined Playster for its books but actually find myself using the games the most. You can find just about any kind of game and its fun to just try different things. Great for long journeys and short attention spans!

I clicked something by accident when I signed up and it billed me, but the support agent I spoke to was very friendly and they refunded me right away. I even got an email a few days later to check Id got the refund. Very very good service!
