Be careful when purchasing google play! Cards. I purchased 2 and when I went to redeem them I got a message that it needed more information. I submitted a photo of the Play cards as well as receipts. It took them a week to tell me that there are some inconsistencies with my account or the cards and couldn't be activated. I've responded back for a further explanation and have not heard back. There are no representatives from Google to speak with on the phone. Very unhappy about the customer service.
I unfortunately had opportunity to try Google play and found out it was complicated to use had to be downloaded. I contacted customer service for help and to get a refund and was denied without recourse.
I have four $1.00 holds on my card, I can't see what they were for and when I reached out for help, the guy kept repeating himself, would tell me he understood and then looked up the transaction history and tried saying they were for purchases back in 2022 and those purchases were made on a completely different card and bank account. He came up with whatever he could to falsely resolve the issue. I haven't used google play since the beginning of 2023 when I had to switch phones. I'm livid.
If I could give a zero star I would. Received a Google gift card digitally by Amazon email (a birthday gift) and it was unable to redeem. Went through the whole process with Google as they requested "more information". It was embarrassing to have to ask my friend for her receipt as she sent it to me as gift, and on top of that Google still rejected the gift card saying information "inconsistent" without further explanation which part of the information they're questioning. I tried to email, online chat, call in person, all gave me the same answer to go through the online submission again. And then the same response from Google "special team" that they're not satisfied with the document and cannot honor the card. Without saying why, it sure feels more like a scam. Big company sells digital money, refuse to honor and acknowledge it, what are we going to do. The whole experience is a shame and I will never ever in my life purchase/use another Google gift card.
Do not purchase gift packs of google play cards. They are made cheaply, with paper cards, so when the sticker is removed to redeem code the code tears off with the sticker.
They Do Not refund for the faulty products and you will just waste money.
Noted the flaws and bugs of an app in a constructive criticism way, but Google's new automated systems even takes that as too agressive and it's now useless to state why on the low score ad it wasn't "friendly enough". So writing a text review is now useless.
Been buying in game purchases for years and reached the platinum level so a perk is you get a box to open every week gives you up to 100 points wich is 1.00 dollar so I've kept track for the last 24 months mist points 6 which is 6 cents my average is 3 cents be advised my total spent over 2 years was 4,564 dollars. What a joke and insult to give pennies to someone spending that much. Google a greedy scam like the rest
Tryed to pay for CITB app using my Google play account and bank card both my name. Account was suspended because, as they say, of the suspecios fraud. Frau for 6,99? For god sake. Two days no response. Customer service Talkin the Sama again and again - wait for the email...
Btw been asked to send copy of passport and proof of address. What is this for- no answer as well.

I paid for two language apps, and their subscriptions were about to be renewed. I didn't want to pay for another year. Canceling those two subscriptions was almost impossible. Google had me change my password two weeks before. I couldn't remember my new password. I was already on my Google account, but they still wanted me to sign in. I asked to change my password. Google verified my account via double authentication, but for the love of God, Google would not let me change my password or sign in. I was charged for both subscriptions because I could not log in. I also could not cancel my subscriptions via the apps themselves. There was no one to call at Google for help.
Even as I was paying monthly on my app, they were still charging me weekly as well. When I noticed, they advised that I didn't meet their refund policy. What a joke...even after I stopped the weekly debit, they still taking my money... have to toss my credit card and get a new one and my advice is never add your card to google.
Google Play breaks into people's financial account's. Stealing your money out of your bank account. I had to cut off my bank account card information, dispute transactions that I didn't which I was not aware of. When I try to notify Google they charged me even more money without my authorization, or even my Knowledge.
If you try to contact them, please be advised that they will steal more money out of your account since they already have your account information on their files.
Considering the fact that you're using Whatsapp, cash app, Amazon, etc.
As I speak right now,right now as I'm typing, there is pop-up blogs that keeps interrupting my phone calls, internet searches, etc from Google Play Telling me that my phone have a virus when my phone is BRAND New.

Overall purchasing anything within the playstore is a mess. If you redeem a giftcard or balance within your account, you cannot cover the rest of the purchase with your credit card when it comes to purchases.

Google play is part of the scam that created by Fitbit Premium. Fitbit doesn't want to issue refund and blames Google play and Google Play doesn't want to issue refund and blames Fitbit Premium. They both scammers.
On 5 july 2023 rented a movie in Google Play. Due to system errors I could not see it ( the film did not appear on the library) Support group could not fix the problem and reimbursement was refused 0n 15 July. No explanation was provided
My card was charged 2 days ahead of the scheduled subscription renewal. No authorization of the payment was asked of me (no push notification or sms). This specific function is not clearly stated on the site, or when you make the first purchase. You only find out that their policy is to charge ahead of time, when you're charged without your consent. When I requested a refund within 48 hours, they refused to refund it! There is no customer service at all. Never again will I use their services and do not recommend you do either.
I liked that they fill orders quickly and the trades happen exactly at the specified price. Scalpers might not like that you can't trade binary options for less than 5 minutes, but that's not a problem for me. I have found that everything works great when trading on intervals of 30 minutes or more. My advice is to try QUOTEX, I recommend this platform to all traders!
This is not my first rodeo with Google play gift cards, it comes back with need more information when I try to redeem and I bought the card's in the store! And just try to get speedy service to correct it. Total BS!
I bought a google playcard credit and went to scratch off the card to my suprise the poor quality of it just came off and easily and cant be scratched properly like what we usually scratch other stuff and it turn out like this so i told the customer service it's manufacturing problem and they told to me to go back to the 7-11 ask for refund i went there and the staff said it cant be refund and i understand the staff there so i went back to google customer service they told me they will get their expert team to reveal the code for me and after spending more than 3hours time this scammer company told me they don't know the code and can't reveal more detail about the card to me and i am like what is wrong with your company,you should be responsible when it's your manufacturing problem and now you telling me my money is going to the sea for no reason this is just a scammer company beware of them do not buy their google card
Answer: It's a legit company just not as secure as we are lead to blelive they should be checking apps before adding them to the playstore and if they are checking them upon entry their should also be random checks to see what the apps do on our phone and to ensure the developer hasn't made changes to the app that affect their consumers.

Answer: It is the only source of secure app downloads for any android phone. All android user are forced to use it and we assumed it was secure enough to download apps that have been checked for security issues to our phones.
