If you are thinking to buy an app to try within Google Play's 48-hour criteria on its refund policy, don't do it. Like many reviews on this site and others say, they will refuse without telling you why. If you did buy with a credit card, use email to politely ask for a refund, get their refusal in writing, then dispute the charge with your credit card company.

Google Play App Won't Download

Google Play's download doesn't work for ImageMaker Pro. They said I couldn't get a refund because it was against their "policy". I never got the product. What kind of Google Play policy says I have to pay for something that I never received?

They wanted me to contact the developer in Germany to help debug the system? That's not my job anymore.

I didn't make this purchase by accident -- the web site says it was available for my device (Win11) -- which it apparently wasn't.

I guess Google Play is more interested in developer profits than in their paying customers or in 5-Star Reviews.

Don't buy from Google Store.

24Task is a great freelance app that giving the aspiring freelancers to engage with their skills and to share to extra ordinary talents to their clients and earn extra income while having their free time. Like me, I love to do designs that make me conclude if I can expand my talent I can make it by earning and I found this platform that I believe I can expand and re-developed my skills plus extra earnings. So grateful I found this app.

Worst customer service

Dishonest practices. Worst customer service.
Adobe clearly says that they will issue full refund within 14 days of initial order of the renewal, but Google play will give you run around and deny refunds.

I wish they are sued and made to pay users for such dishonest practices.

As most are aware you can collect play points for purchases up too 100 I launched an experiment and found out that you will never receive a bonus higher than 4 points after opening 500 weekly gifts I've only manage to accumulate 1128

£30 for Roblox

My 5 year old daughter spent £30 on a game called Roblox without my knowledge or permission I researched the game and realised its not suitable for her so I contacted Google Play Support and explained the situation that she's only 5 the game is for 10+ she didn't have my permission and they've refused to refund me the £30 because it doesn't meet there policy what a joke least its only £30 and not £300

If I could give no stars I would. Why in the hell would you allow an app called spoofing in your Google play store. I am a business owner and they got my business number to go around trying to scam people out of money. This app is bull$#*!. You need to take that app down. If you don't you don't care and it's all about the money. Since then people are calling me thinking it's me. This is the worst app you could ever put into your Google play. Why don't you pay attention and allow some of this crap on your store. Oh, can't even put a review in to help keep yourself private but they let this crap happen.

I had subscribed to a yearly subscription to the Clue Period & Cycle Tracker app on Google Play back in October of 2021. In July of 2022, I decided I no longer wanted this subscription or the App, so I went into the Clue App and deleted my account. I was not aware that you also had to cancel your subscription through Google Play. So, at the beginning of October of 2022, I was charged for my yearly subscription. Within 30 minutes of receiving the confirmation email that I subscribed for another year, I went into Google Play, cancelled the subscription and then requested a refund. After three weeks of fighting with Google Support, as well as the developers of the Clue App, they are refusing to refund me the measly low cost of $34. The most frustrating part of all of this is that one party is blaming the other and both are refusing me a refund. Google Play states that the developer should provide support and refunds for their products, but the Clue App developer states that all subscriptions are handled by Google and they issue refunds. I cannot believe that I wasted 3 weeks of my time providing detailed information to both parties only to find out that they are not refunding me. Here's the best part, even if I wanted to use this subscription that I just paid for, I can't because the Clue App does not have any record of my account at all (probably because I deleted it months ago!). I could not believe how this situation was handled. DON'T SUBSCRIBE TO ANYTHING ON GOOGLE PLAY AND DO NOT SUBSCRIBE TO THE CLUE PERIOD & CYCLE TRACKER APP. YOU WILL BE HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED AND LOSE YOUR MONEY!

I was trying to talk to these dumbass devs that are trying to shove this feature up everyone's asses and I'm trying to explain to them why this is a $#*!ing bad a idea and the $#*!ty $#*! excuse for an app store limits my review to 500 $#*!ing characters. Google Play for developers is borderline a scam. They constantly mess with your apps and keep finding creative ways to flag them for made up violations. They will never EVER tell your what's wrong and will need with your by telling your to guess. They have zero support and one they have your money, they will never met your use the service in peace. I've never ever had one week where they didn't flag everything single app. One day the app is fine, come back a few days later and they've decided that your app off no longer compliant, and except for cryptic hints, again, they don't tell you anything. The idea here is to get your to violate enough times that they can terminate your account end keep the money. Trust me, if you're looking to earn money is apps, do NOT rely on Google. They will hurt your ability to make money, damage your apps creditability, and destroy your reputation in the process. I promise you, Google Play of to apps, what Joe Biden is to politics. There's is no worse repository on the planet. I regret the day in every signed up. I'm in the middle of my 3rd BBB colostomy. It's the only way to get support. Otherwise you'll never ever talk to anyone EVER! This content should be sanctioned by the government for scamming people.

Bottom line is, they won't provide info, but threaten you if you don't guess what it is that they are hiding from you. This is just not how good business works. Run for the hills. This is not going to end well for you unless you're a million dollar corporation. They don't mess with those guys. Only is little guys. They know we can't fight back. And they know they have placed a fake random in all Android services to scare people into not downloading anything unless it's from them. Such asses.

Google Play does NOT work for the customer. They work for the developers. So when you attach a credit card, and it gets compromised through their service, they will do EVERYTHING they can to punish YOU for the breach, not the developer who made unauthorized use of your card. Thank Jesus Capital One actually cares and protects their customers. Rest assured, to Google, you do NOT matter at all.

Google play has now come up with a new tactic to get you buy subscriptions While you are trying out an app from the store a pop-up to purchase the prescription will popup and set over top the continue button
Of the app your trying. No close button no x in corners i tried to swipe it away but it just triggered the purchase i sent an email to google play explaining what happened.it was less than 10 minutes from the time it happened to requesting a refund.at 5pm i get an email stating they cant refund my purchase because it doesn't meet their policy. I tried 3 more times but got same reply.
