This service has caused me SUCH a headache as multiple charges have been coming out of my bank account nonstop for MONTHS now! I had just ONE order of pictures that were to be sent to a loved one (which was NEVER received) & after that, they had all my bank information and continued to charge my card 2,3, sometimes 4 times a month! I've called multiple times to get things straight, they only refunded a few of the fraudulent charges, & at this point I'm just gonna get a lawyer as well as the BBB involved. Freaking ridiculous! Please BEWARE FOLKS! Don't lose your hard earned money on SCAMMERS!
Hidden fees? Yes. Multiple fraudulent charges per month? Yes. No support? Correct. All negative reviews are accurate. If you are thinking about using this company, find another. There are others. Read the positive reviews on here and visit the reviewers' profiles. You will see that many are fakes/bots, and/or paid to write false positive reviews on other scam websites - Usually the same websites, too. Very interesting. Don't feel bad, or think that they are "just a start-up" like you will often see here and there on a Google search. They are stealing your money, hoping to get away with it, and they don't feel bad about it. They continue to charge you, and will take months to refund you the money. I once threatened to go to my bank, and I had the refund the next day. The next time I tried, it didn't phase them, and they took their time. Sadly, you are better off cancelling the card once they have the info. The downside is that this company is significantly cheaper than other inmate services - and they know that, I'm sure. But it's not worth getting your money stolen. So... Thank you, Pigeonly. Next!
Essentially a scam site. 1. First red flag, you HAVE TO set up a recurring charge on your credit card. 2. It might work for some prisoners who have to make expensive long distance calls to home and family, but it is useless for local call prisoners. But they don't tell you this on their web site. 3. I could not find a way online to cancel my account once I had initiated it. I had call an agent to cancel. We'll see if this even works. Otherwise I'll need to dispute the charges on my upcoming credit card statements. 4. To find out how the operating procedure for initiating the prisoner calls I had to go to a third party site on Youtube and that's where I realized Pigeonly was only useful if the prisoners had to make expensive long distance calls from a Federal prisoner. Really sleazy site.
At first I thought this was the greatest thing! I could send pics, a letter, an article, a postcard, etc. But then I noticed this charge from them that I never authorized, and not just from one account, they were taking it from any card I ever used, even if I had deleted it. 7.99 every 10 days. So I call customer serivce number, I waited for over an hour on hold with no one ever picking up the call. So I went to the online chat. This person only had the capability of filing a report with billing. There was no way to get confirmation, no number to talk to them. They sneak money out of your account, then make it so you can't even talk to someone who actually works for this company.
They were great until I noticed I was getting charged multiple times throughout the month. I had my bank stop payment, yet they are still pulling money from my account. I have contacted support( which is located in the Philippines) and they said I would receive my money back. I still have not received it. I also did not receive the confirmation email they promised to send.
This services is so skep an has taken double payments every time even after removing way of payment is taken off. Records are not accurate on your profile page of payment history. No live person to speak to an emails are not answered. I have lost everything an single mother that tried to let my kids stay in contact with their father take from them for 25yrs. Proof of the double payments in photo. BBB needs to know how they have done im sure a lot of others as myself.

Answer: Hello: To all who have suffered multiple, unauthorized charges by Pigeonly. I have submitted all necessary info to classaction.org to initiate a class action suit. My request is being reviewed by lawyers who will let me know if Pigeonly's actions warrant a class suit. You can go to classaction.org to review the process. You may also want to check out the current suits and settlements to see if you qualify as an injured party entitled to a portion of the settlement. If the lawyers decide we have a valid case, they will draft the complaint and file with the appropriate court. The judge must approve the class action before it can go any further; the lawyers will reach out to injured parties, and/or post the suit/settlement on classaction.org, newspapers, etc. If you aren't contacted, please make the effort to join this class action once it's posted. It doesn't require an appearance in any court, nor much of your time. These people are lining their pockets at the expense of so many of us already forced to deal with unfortunate situations. Answer: I have it and for the first month worked fine now not working so I just went and got a cell # in his area and said forget it not paying for a service that does not work And when you call customer service they keep saying they are working on the issue and it has been 5 days since my first call saying it wasn't working they are letting you get through for about a month then assigning the # to someone else attaching it to that persons number a big, Ole scam do not use them
Answer: You can send a postcard or letter to your loved one and include your assigned number. Or give them the number the next time they call. Also a lot of jails have implemented emails.
