I was tricked by Wal-Mart into using this company... Ordered on Dec 14 2018, simple card order, should be delivered on 20th, paid $11 for delivery. Order tracking still shows it at the Atlanta FedEx facility, has been there for 4 days! Never again!
Ordered Christmas cards on the 13th and was promised arrival before the 21st. Tracking on USPS website says my order i currently in transit... in Georgia. I live in Florida. Attempted to contact them in regards to the issue, and they offered to send more if I repaid. Will NEVER use this site again
I used PhotoAffections for the first time this year (2018) to order customized Holiday cards. The print quality was very good, and the card stock was thick and high quality, as well. I ordered 5 x 7 card stocks and selected 'Premium Glossy'. I selected expedited shipping for this order and in five business days, my order was delivered.
Bought through Groupon with no way for a refund. My order was "lost in translation" and the best they could do was send me another order a week before Christmas. Spoke with three different people who were very rude and not helpful.
Bout the 70% off groupon for 70 cards for 29.95. But after shipping and all the add ons it ended up being over $90. I'm so tired of these shyster tactics on line. It takes as much time to get to the bottom of all the half truths on a web site to find out what it really costs as it does to just go pick it up a the store. I'm done! All my cards will be bought at the store from now on.
I ordered Christmas cards on November 5th with the expected delivery date of November 8th and it is now November 20th and my Christmas cards still have not arrived. I have tried contacting customer service 10+ times and each time they just say they are "working on it and thanks for my patience." They can never give me a real update on my PAID for product. I will never order from this awful company again and would never recommend it to a friend. Do yourself a favor and never do business with this awful company.
I used Photoaffections for the first time for this years Christmas cards. I bought a groupon based off of the reviews, thinking I would get the quality of Shutterfly and Mpix, that I've used for previous years. The proof looked great, shipping was fast. I was severely disappointed when I saw the final card. For whatever reason, they upped the brightness on our the card and our photos. Everything is much lighter and super washed out. I didn't even bother contacting customer service based off of others experiences. I didn't want to have to wait, or possibly pay for them to fix their mistake. I'm gritting my teeth and sending out the awful cards and will definitely not be using Photoaffections next year!
When their customer service tells you that the cards printed "as displayed" on their website and you send them physical proof (photos) that it didn't... that's when you know you can't do business with them ever again. I had to give my client a credit on her photography package because Photo Affections didn't deliver. I'm awaiting a refund now. The image shows what was designed on the website (left) and what I received (right)
Purchased a Groupon for 70 cards. Fine print said I was responsible for taxes and shipping. At checkout, the taxes they collected was on the retail value of the product, not what I paid for it. That amounted to 21% of the purchase. Neither Groupon or Photo Affections can explain to me who is getting the money from taxes on a sale that didn't match. How does a state know to collect an amount above what someone paid. Something fishy here..
I ordered a photo product and was willing to pay triple the cost to get the item shipped in 2 days, but 2 separate customer service representatives told me it was impossible and recommended standard shipping. The pillow was shipped the next day, and I was stuck with standard shipping and a late, untimely gift because of their poor recommendations. I spoke to the supervisor and they told me they were not able to help me or resolve the problem. Poor customer service. I would never recommend this company. They do not know their products, shipping, and manufacturing information.
I rarely ever write reviews, but had to warn others after this morning's call with their Customer Service team. Don't waste your money or time, folks. The cards were extremely fuzzy and blurry. I called CS and was connected to the "Supervisor", Natalie, who was less than accommodating. She was rude, lacked any sense of customer service skills and eventually hung up the phone on me. There was no sense of problem solving skills, whatsoever. After being a loyal customer for years, I'd gladly take my business elsewhere. There's too much competition in the photo cards world for them to treat their customers this way.
Called twice about my concern of not getting the invitations on time. Instead of helping me resolve my problem like how their competitors have been doing, they told me that I was jumpy and that I was worried for no reason. I initially explained during a live chat session that I needed them by certain date and even then the rep didnt advise to expedite my shipping. When I called the second time to expedite it they couldnt help me. Called again 4 days later they told me that I was jumping the gun. It has been 6 days now and my order hasnt arrived. This company is the worst. Id go back to tinyprints or any other printing company. Will not do business with them photoaffections again.
Why would photo affections allow me to pay for expedited shipping and pay a Saturday delivery if they weren't going to come until Tuesday? Now I am expected to pay for cards that won't arrive before xmas. Treat your people like people! Sending cards is a dying art! Appreciate the few of us that are left!
While placing my order with Photo Affections, I encountered an error. The on page help suggested asking for a review of my photo. I could not find any where to ask for this review during check out. Immediately after checkout, I contacted Photo Affections support. My email:
"comments: I did not see an area to add a note about the quality of my photo. Can you please review prior to printing? I do not want 100 cards if the photo is not going to look good."
Within 20 minutes, I received a response:
"Currently your order is under review by our design department and quality team. They will contact you if they see any issues with your order."
About 4 days later, my order arrived. I open it expecting to see a clear picture, but was upset to discover how poor my photo card looked. I contacted support again with the issue. I was instructed to send photos--which I did. After a few days of review with support they told me:
"After reviewing your order, it appears that we printed your order just as it was designed and submitted into our system. "
I was understandably upset. I had contacted support before they began my order so that this exact thing wouldn't happen. They offered me half off a new order. I declined. I wanted a new order immediately at no cost. Then over the next few days of them ignoring my email, they sent the same exact email 3 times from 3 different customer service people offering me a shipping refund.
I am 9 months pregnant. I don't have time to deal with this stress. I ordered the cards with plenty of time to send before the Holidays. I contacted support prior to them starting my order to avoid any difficulties. If I had known they would look like this--I would have picked a different design. I don't understand why I wasn't taken care of. Now, with just about 10 days to go until Christmas, I have to send these embarrassing cards out to my friends and family because I don't have the time or money to try again.
I ordered my Christmas cards from them for 3 years in a row. Quality was fine. This year my proof looked great, but the actual card photo was terrible. I called and Ulysses said they would reprint them. I sent pictures, per his request, and you can clearly see in the pics that the quality of the cards is sub-par. They said they would not reprint them and offered me a measly 20% off. Further, they were very unkind when I followed up with them. VERY disappointed in my experience!
The order was perfect! We are thrilled with the quality and quick service!
THANK YOU VERY MUCH and will definitely use this service again.
I ordered standard, straight-forward Christmas cards and they arrived in a couple of weeks and looked exactly as I ordered. Received the envelopes also and in a cute little box. I would order from them again. I found PhotoAffections by using a discount program so it was a great value.
Due to possible conflicts we had to wait to order graduation invites so I used rush printing and overnight delivery. They arrived on a Tuesday and discovered that night we were short 50 envelopes. I contacted them online right away that evening. I received a reply right away the next morning (a Wednesday) stating they'd refund the rush printing and overnight shipping fees and that they'd get more envelopes shipped. They also said that I'd get an email when they have gone out. I received an email on Thursday they had been shipped however the arrival won't be until Monday. I expected them to be shipped the same way I chose to have them shipped; overnight. The remainder of the invites being mailed are delayed a week because I don't have envelopes to mail them. I could have found 5x7 envelopes to purchase myself 3 days ago. The cards themsleves look great.
Ordered Christmas cards from PhotoAffections this year and had a TERRIBLE experience. Customer service was dreadful, borderline insulting. Our order was incorrectly printed, missing cards, stamp service was unfulfilled. The rep offered a $15 refund (on a hundred dollar order,) because "if you have to stamp them yourself, we feel that covers your time." BBB gives them 1.5 stars - wish I had checked before ordering.
I ordered Christmas photo cards on December 7th, 2015, and my order was scheduled to arrive on December 12th. I did receive my order on that day, however the cards were for another family. When I contacted customer service about this issue, they informed me another order would be printed and shipped and I could expect it Friday, December 18th. When I explained this was unacceptable and would not leave me enough time to mail the cards in time I was told I was then eligible for expedited shipping and I could expect my order a day earlier, on December 17th.
I felt this matter was handled poorly and in a less than timely manner. All representatives I dealt with were indifferent and unhelpful. An error such as this should have been resolved in more acceptable way. I will never do business with photo affections again.
Answer: Nope. Horrible horrible horrible horrible horrible horrible (50 characters is unnecessary for responses)
Answer: No one could beat their black friday price. No one was even close!
Answer: Good luck with that. Long wait times if you call. Long wait times if you "chat" on-line. No answers to your survey responses or your e-mails.
