The company failed to send envelopes after paying expedited processing and shipping. The envelopes will arrive will be after the holiday, so it will be super late. I wanted to return the card because of Photo Affections mistake and they will not take them back.
I paid extra, did not get what is needed/paid for and they only compensated 20% for cards I can't use. It was not my fault they didn't pack the envelopes. The rep said I should have called yesterday when I received them. Calling the very next day after delivery does now make me late. I am frustrated and disappointed. Will not use them again.
Been using photo affections for the last few years. Ordered on 12/9 and still didn't receive and it's 12/20. They shipped 1 card out of my 71 cards. I even ordered priority shipping. After speaking to the 5th rep, they agreed that it was not all shipped and they would rush processing with overnight delivery. I log in to look at the status 2 days later and they still weren't printed! So I called again and it took a 6th rep to actually put everything into motion. Now I won't get my cards until 12/21. Ridiculous for ordering on 12/9!
No where on the site does it mention that extra postage is required for the size photo/envelope that we purchased. It was a 5 x 5 square card. I sent out all of our cards, only to have them returned. They required an additional.39 that had to be manually addressed individually. It was an extra $40 in postage, and 1.5 hours of my time at the post office. No response from photo affections from my emails.
They ruined my Christmas cards, I wish I looked at these reviews before. I ordered my cards end of November they arrived a week after with a printing error, I emailed sent pictures of the error, they agreed and sent a re print advised it would arrive 1 week later. After almost a week and half I followed up only to get an email saying the error was due to the quality of my photos. My sister did the exact same thing as me and hers were perfect. Now they want me to send the original messed up ones back for me to get a full refund. Don't waist your time or money and go somewhere else. DO NOT TRUST THEM.
While I appreciate my $224 order arriving by Christmas I do NOT appreciate receiving my blankets wadded up in a big pile, shoved into a mailer & wrinkled! In addition there are black ink drops all over the blankets that I know for certain were not in the photographs I uploaded. The same ink splotches we're on a different blanket order as well! Clean your damn machine printer! $224 for a wrinkled pile of blankets that were intended for gifts to my siblings! Shame on PhotoAffections! Should have listened to all the bad reviews! These (4) blankets weren't even shipped in individual cellophane packaging!
Just wadded up an shoved in a mailer! Disgusted & out over $200! Please heed my advice & do not order from these folks! Read reviews & trust them!
I have used Photos Affections in the past and never had an issue until this year. The photo I uploaded to our Christmas card printed in awful quality and I was told "it is the way the photo prints on Matte paper." The photo made all our teeth look black! I would think the company would see this and at least contact the customer before the cards were sent out. I was offered a $13 discount on my Christmas cards - not even worth it. Unfortunately, I won't be ordering again from this site.
My beautiful outdoor photos with the sunshine shining bright were perfect but photo affections made a point of ruining my Christmas card. The cards came out dark and dull. I called customer service twice because I was disconnected after holding for 15 minutes and then waited again on hold. The customer service said fill out a form I can't help you. Beware everyone poor quality cards and terrible customer service! Never again will I use this company.
Order was missing envelopes. When I contacted the company they said they would send them out immediately. 4 days later I contacted them again to find out that they still have not shipped. They shipped them that day regular mail so we are still awaiting the envelopes a week and a half later. I asked to speak with a manager and no one has contacted me yet. Not impressed.
Got my order wrong, after lengthy explanation of simple matter with customer service (I ordered gold envelopes, was sent plain) I was assured the correct envelopes would arrive the following Monday, of course without charge. I was then charged $14.37 for the missing envelopes—which I'd already paid for— and shipping. The envelopes did not arrive Monday. I called to inquire about the envelopes and the bill. They claimed bill was an error; after forty minutes on hold I was told envelopes were still being printed (! They were gold envelopes, no special printing to do) and would be mailed that day and I would receive Wednesday. I asked to speak with supervisor, was told this was impossible but that she would "escalate" and I'd receive a call within 24 hours. I received no call and no envelopes. It is now Wednesday night. I should have received this SIMPLE order in full on 11/30. I received only the cards with the wrong enevelopes. It is now 12/7 and I STILL do not have the correct envelopes, despite multiple assurances that I would have the envelopes by 12/5 and then today. Note that this is a holiday card order—time matters. This company is incompetent and deceptive at best and deliberately fraudulent at worst. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
I ordered a gift card to go with a birthday card, with specific txt for a family member and, special signature from my wife and I.
Bottom line; gift card arrived and grandson when asked say yea I got a gift card but there was no card with it so he didn't even know who it was from.! MASS FAILURE.!
I could have walked to CVS and purchased a birthday. AND and gift card to send to my grandson. At least he would've got the birthday card!
I ordered a personalized ornament for my husband of his father that passed away this year. He wanted an ornament for our tree that would honor his memory. They said it shipped but we never received it. We would still have liked to had it for future Christmas decorating but instead of helping us locate it or making us another one they simply said they refunded our money and basically sorry for your luck. We would have been happy to have just received what we ordered but they had no interest in helping us. Very disappointed in the customer service which to me is very important when purchasing something so personal. Would advise to spend your money elsewhere!
My cards were beautiful, but when I needed to order more, I payed extra to overnight them. I knew it might take a little longer because of a weekend, but it took just as long as my first shipment that I didn't pay extra for. (5 days) You would think paying an extra $25 would make a difference, or at least I did! When I contacted customer service to see what they could do, they over explained how business days work, but weren't willing to offer any sort of refund, future rebate etc. even though I spent a lot of money on my orders for upgraded cards. If you use them, don't waste your money on upgrading your shipping because it is a waste of money. As someone who worked in retail management for years, I know small gestures can go a long way. There's many other great quality printers out there, so as much as I loved the cards, I won't be using this company again.
Ordered on December 8th. Delivered was pushed back to December 24th. Cant possibly mail it out in time for Christmas Day arrival.
I wouldn't order from this company again. Going back to the previous company.
I should not have given them a low review just based on shipping time alone. I first sent a photo to Walgreens to have Christmas cards made. When I went to pick them up, the photo was grainy, the cards must have been printed on a perforated page, then torn out. The edges were ripped. I got a refund and ordered these. I should have ordered sooner. The cards are great quality! I am impressed! I would use them again. Just order sooner. The packaging is a gift box. Not just an envelope. The envelope printing was great as well. It was a few bucks more than Walgreens, but it is so much better!
I ordered Christmas cards on Sunday December 5,2021. On Wednesday the 8th, the sent a shipping notice. They were not showing at their local office until Thursday the 9th. Today is the 10th. According to informed delivery, they may be here on Monday the 13th. 8 days after ordering. Much too slow compared to others. I should have checked the reviews first! If it isn't here Monday, I will report back. I hope there is no issues with the cards.
We purchased Christmas cards and I have emailed twice regarding my complaint, I then called and I've been told it would take 5-7 business days for a specialist to review my messed up Christmas cards that look distorted and photoshopped. 5-7 business days for a review, is what we were told? They will then decide (specialist team) if it's worth contacting the seller after they review your photo. At this point we have waited long enough and it's complete BS. We have been ordering for the past 4 years and this is the first time we have encountered this kind of service. I've yet to hear back; therefore, I would not recommend ordering Christmas cards from this place.
I placed an order of Christmas cards. Throughout the entire order process, I was led to believe the order will be "delivered within 2-4 business days". On Day 6, not having received the cards, I tracked the delivery, to find out that the order will not be delivered until Day 9. I would have never made this purchase if it had been clear in the ordering process that it would take 9 days for the cards to be delivered. When I reached out to Photo Affections seeking to cancel the order and get a refund, I was told it was not possible. The reason given was: processing time has to be added to shipping time. Yet, time for processing order was never disclosed as separate from shipping time frame. Thus, customers are led to believe that the "estimated shipping date (e.g. 2-3 business days)", highlighted in red, is the date order will be received. It is not fair and this business should be flagged and held accountable for deceptive business practices.
Wonderful company to order from and fast shipping. I like that I could order exactly how many cards I needed. Cards are very nice quality stock and even boxed beautifully.
I was a little hesitant to order from them given the negative reviews but I'm glad I did. Beautiful cards, easy to use interface, and everyone had their cards within a week. I used the service where they sent out the cards - very nice. Also nice bonus you can choose the border cutouts for free, which makes the cards seem fancier.

I ordered a queen size photo blanket and added 3 pictures that were not good quality. Other photo blanket companies advised the pictures weren't quality & wouldn't print well. I took a chance at Photo Affections & the pictures on the bereavement blanket came out clear & exceptional. The quality of the blanket was nice & soft but was more like a accent throw than a blanket but it still exceeded my expectations. I took another chance & had another blanket created as a mother's day gift with 14 photos. I used photos from 1950, 60, 70, 80. I did take a picture of these old cracked photos with my camera phone & tried my best to alter them myself before submitting the photos on the blanket. Even so the photos I took wouldn't have been considered quality. Nevertheless all 14 photos came out exceptionally well, the pictures were clear and lifelike. The blanket was absolutely beautiful! Such a beautiful presentation for a gift. Thanks again Photo Affections! Since I didn't want personal pictures on the internet I included my receipts of purchase as proof of purchase.
