My friendly customer service representative Peggie is always pleasant and willing to help out. I wish more people in customer service everywhere were like her. PetCareRx is lucky to have her! Last year, after placing my first order with Pet Care Rx, I signed up for Pet Plus and then wrote a bad review about it. However, I kept the Pet Plus for the year and kept ordering from Pet Care Rx, mostly because I can't find my dog's favorite toys on any other web site. So then it came time for my Pet Plus to renew and I was keeping an eye on my credit card for the fee. (If you remember, last year I was quoted $99 for the year but was then charged $108 and change, and was never told why.) So imagine my surprise when I was charged over $150! I immediately sent off an email to their customer service telling them to cancel my Pet Plus and my whole account. I got back an offer to cut the Pet Plus fee by 50% and was told that the fee had gone up. Most prices have gone up, but who takes a fee from $99 a year to over $150 a year?! That is just ridiculous! I imagine they are going to lose a lot of customers on that. As it is, no matter what happens, this will be my last year with Pet Care Rx. My dog is just going to have to give up her favorite toys!
Hi M R. We are sorry about the delay in delivery. Rest assured the membership is non contractual and can be cancelled at anytime. Just so you know it does come with a guaranteed annual savings! Generally deliveries are rapid, its very rare to see delays but we apologize for that and we hope your fur baby has the items now.
If you cancel and never use it you are still charged, biggest waist of money ever. Plus the service didn't work with my vet at all, way too much work for nothing.

We are sorry if we may have not been able to fill the prescription for your fur baby but without a veterinarians approval are hands are tied. Give us a call at 800-844-1427 and our reps can assist you with your membership refund if it has not been used.

My dog is on a medication for heart failure that is out of stock. I called several pet pharmacies and was told "out of stock, not sure when...". When I talked with a pharmacist (or represented herself to be on) from PetCare RX she assured me the medication in the dose my dog is prescribed was even in stock! So I ordered, joined the membership, and called my vet to tell her where her other patients could find the med. The pharmacists told me when I could expect to receive the UPS order and that she would even wave the shipping fee. The med did not arrive today so I logged in to the website for this company and there it was, 'out of stock'. I have requested the $139.00 charge be cancelled. I WAS TOLD BY THE COMPANY "sORRY FOR YOUR INCONVENIENCE". If you consider a medication for heart failure not being given for 3 days now an inconvenience, you do not understand the pharmacy side of your business.
We are so sorry for this Donna. This prescription has been on manufacture backorder on and off for a few months everywhere now. We have generally been doing pretty well with keeping it in stock as we have limited customers to a 30 day supply each to ensure fullfillment for all fur babies. Its possible when the order was placed it was available but by the time approved it was no longer available. In that event you can leave your order pending this way is first come first fulfilled. We wish there was something further we can do to help and we know how important this medication is but this is a shortage issue from the manufacturer.
Was concerned about the benefits of my $99.00 investment with PetCareRx. After speaking with Millie for about 20 minutes decided to keep this plan in place. She thoroughly explained how it works and made up for last years shortage in savings. Shortage was NOT asked for, was appreciated, and I remain committed to using PetCareRx for the remainder of the plan. A big attaboy for Millie. She couldn't have been more helpful or pleasant. I have a dog that has cost me more than my children put together. I have saved a bundle by subscribing to PetCareRx on her medications. And their customer service is extraordinary.

We had a membership for one year and at least twice they shorted us the medication we ordered for our dog. They do not honor replacing the medication they steal from you but did give a refund which is nothing when you need the medication for the pet. We have had several problems with company and they are rude when you have to call to try and get it corrected. We are also concerned about the quality of the medication also as our dog is acting like it is not working at all. Also they keep your credit card information on file even after you cancel your membership. That is unethical and I wonder why(?) they do this.
Thank you for your feedback Sarah. We have several checkpoints in our pharmacy to ensure the correct and full medications are being dispensed. Our medications are the same as you would essentially get from a veterinarians office and come directly from the manufacturer or licensed distributer. The membership is an annual reoccuring membership therefore an automatic charge would be made annually, however if cancelled which you can do at anytime as its non contractual there will be no further charges to your card. I first joined Pet Care RX in 2016. They are the only online service for pet medicines and food that offer wholesale prices. When my Hershey (dog/child) was recently diagnosed (at 15) with pancreatitis and recommended a special diet food ($$$$). Pet CareX plan saved me $10 a month with both Chewy and my vet's online orders. Also, customer service are working from home so it's a great experience to order order by phone. Or they offer autoship, at the same saving. Call them. You'll see. I am not a paid reviewer. Just an extremely loyal customer.

I didn't realize that joining PetCareRx could mean a potential 25% overall savings on all of purchases of FancyFeast Liver & Beef cans for the year, which includes tax and shipping! This is better than what I can buy locally at. 80 to. 90 per can. I'm thrilled I found PetCareRx for my kitty, Gully.

Alexandra (I hope I have that right) took great care of our People (the 4 legged fur babies of course) as we call them. She took great care of us owners too. Our only complaint is the meds are not liver scented and flavored which has been a direct request of our people. When that can be perfected things will be perfect. Thank you for your courtesy.

They were great about explaining where they were in the process of getting it approved as well as what I needed to do if I needed to help speed it up by speaking with the vet. I even made the mistake of ordering the wrong size for my dog and they corrected it with the Vet and called me to confirm! I always use PetCareRX and would recommend them to anyone needing just about anything for their pets pharmaceutical needs!

I called to inquire about my membership billing. I was concerned about the price increase. The associate, Teresa, did a great job explaining to me that although there was indeed a substantial price increase for my annual membership cost, I still saved hundreds of dollars on the prescription medication costs for my pet. I am very happy with the program and highly recommend it to others, especially those who have ongoing expensive medicine expenses for their pet(s)!

Answer: PetPlus is a scam. You pay $50 a year and pay top dollar if you use your local pharmacy! Stay away. Go on goodrx.com and save money and $50 membership!
