I got this for ONE SPECIFIC reason! My boyfriend and I both knew why, it was to look up a couple fines or warrants that he KNOWS he has. (Speeding tickets in two different states) I looked and looked everyday... it kept telling me that it sometimes takes 48 to 72 hours to find out this information. I started this program on January 6th, already canceled Today January 18th, I simply wanted BASIC INFORMATION! It couldn't even bring up his marriage history, but knew where heHAD lived in the past!?!? It just floor's me to be out $20 for Nothing In Return! UGH
STOP! Don't waste your time or your money. Failed to even provide correct address or birth date. They couldn't find a marriage or a divorce, not to mention the criminal record that I know exists. What a waste of time and $$$$$.
I used it once and forget about it. It turns out for the past 3 months they have been charging my credit card.
They couldn't find anything that can't be found by using google. The site is completely misleading and offers way more than they actually do give. Searched myself to see what came up and they found my current address, that's all. Pretty shady practices.
I used this website 12 months ago - called after I got the report and told them it was all the same information i could find by myself. They refunded my money then proceeded to charge my credit card for 12 months. When I called they agreed to give me one month back. I was told that the supervisors do not take calls. I eventually ended up with 3 months back. I am considering a class action lawsuit if you are interested please let me know. I am furious. Person.com is obviously run by the CRIMINALS.
Of course, same old thing, lure you to click through pages thinking it will be free only to find they want your credit card information. If a relationship starts off with a lie, expect more of the same!
The reports do not include any information - It claims that all "public" information should be included... I ran one on myself and didn't see things that I know, for a fact, are public info. More information is available if you simply do a google search than pay for this service - Do NOT waste a dime on this..
I almost signed up for this but then decided to look for reviews. I'm glad of all the warnings! Sorry bad things happened to you guys, but thank you so much for telling in a review to help others avoid it.
Unfortunately I did give my e-mail before I checked reviews. A few days later I got nearly 100 spam e-mails from companies I don't even recognize (not my usual spam). So I can only assume they sold my e-mail. Some companies just suck.
The site takes you all the way to the end before ever mentioning anything about your credit card info being needed. Just say it cost money up front, save the person's time!
The results are not complete; other similar services had more complete results. The customer service rep was rude and kept cutting me off when I tried to speak to her. Zero stars
Trick you out with the ONE DOLLAR DEAL, then tag your card immediately at 12:01AM on day 5. Called to complain and cancel. SURE THEY SAID. No refund as promised. $44.00+, three months later, they tagged me again $44.00+, under a different name. Now they have $90, my banks fraud dept handled it. Then the law says they only have to give 3mo back. $44.00+, NO DEAL, my bank got it all returned. These scandalous companies change their names, often, to throw you of track. NEVER USE THEM! CROOKS, and naturally they are not 1st language English speaking so they only read from script. It's pitiful the owners put these poor ppl to work and they are the ones abused, not the FAT CAT OWNERS. VERY BAD BUSINESS
For those 5 Star rating fans... To write a BOOK about how WONDERFUL this service is but then BRAG about how easily you were able to CANCEL & get a REFUND. Hmmmm... Thanks for the heads up! You saved me alot of time! This is why I read reviews before I commit.
Site is not for me. Checked my information on myself. Information is missing that I know should be on their site. I should know its me checking on myself. More money down the drain, will I ever learn? JRL
This site is complete garbage. Total scam. It has been telling me it takes "72 hours" to compile data (that I know to be FACT and should be visible) for 2 WEEKS. Reached out to customer service, got nothing helpful in response. All it tells you for X amount of $ is a person's name, phone and address history WHICH CAN ALL BE RETRIEVED FOR FREE ON WHITEPAGES.COM.
What a mistake. Don't make it like I did.
Tele. # they tell you to call if needed is a joke. You won't ever get to talk to a live person. Only ans. Machine questions about things like would you like to take a cruise etc. over and over again. Also try canceling your membership via computer - so many prompts and site sent to wants to charge a fee to continue. This persopo people search site is questionable esp. When looking up someone you personally know and their history and persopo states no records found except maybe their name, age, location and that it takes at least 72 hrs. To find out other facts such as criminal records. Feel like they are just buying time so they can charge that first monthly fee.
This site is a big time scam. The only thing the shows was the person name and old address, they did not let me see the person age or anything else. They said to wait 72 hours to see all results and it has been over a month I still not see anything

So they had a couple of things right and a few things wrong and alot of information missing. When I couldn't log in using my password I called for help. Chose the option for my problem and nothing happened. I tried another option. Still nothing. The recorded message keeps repeating. Couldn't even cancell. Called my credit card company and cancelled through them.
Ran a check and it came up with the records, but i just had to pay! I paid the $1 trial fees for 5 days and guess what... the report they said they had ready would take 72 hours to up load. Called and immediately cancelled. This company is a scam...
BBEWARE!
I need to locate prior marriages and divorce certificates for my government license. So I decided to try this agency a acquaintance told me she used. Big mistake. The fee I selected was 9.95, they billed me 59.95. The information they got upon review was the basic name and address of myself of course.
Each highlighted important information I clicked on had nothing, but a generated note to the right with some 72 hour mumble jumble. I emailed them with my disappointment of lack thereof, and walloh, they responded with some 48 hour mumble jumble, gave a ticket numble.
Very deceptive signup. It takes you through several pages of searching before you are presented with the cost. The preview pages of the search showed 2 marriage/divorce records and 1 criminal record had been found yet when I subscribed, only old addresses were available.
Everything but the most basic information you can google, was unavailable without an upgrade. At every step of the way they advertised I'd have access to marriage, divorce, and criminal records. Pure bait and switch.
I called Persopo's customer service number and asked for an immediate refund (less than 5 minutes after I joined) and was told it would take 3-5 days. I intend to write them an email requesting a refund so I have evidence that I tried to resolve it with the merchant, in the event they don't refund the money and I have to contest the charge.
If you see an unauthorized charge on your credit card and Persopo doesn't refund it, or even charges again, please notify the bank and contest the charge or charges.
Update: I got the refund in 2 days but that doesn't change my opinion of this racket.
