I have gone to Pep Boys for years. Had many problems new? Tires blowing out in 2 months the other one started to split had to stop and get spare put on at the closest place I could find. The tire dealer said it looked like a re-cap. I bought them as new tires, how can this happen? They did replace all of them with a better grade of tire. Then the battery was only 6 months old and a cell went out in it. A while ago my engine light came on and I went into Pep Boys and they did a test for '$100.00 The quote was over $950.00. The car is only worth $500.00. I live on a fixed income no way could I afford there charge. I called a friend at Auto Zone and he referred me to AAmco. Same work done for under $350.00.

A rider or a car enthusiast may love this site. I don’t think anyone else may love this site so much. This site deals with car accessories. PepBoys delivers the parts of a car as ordered by their customers. Thus you cannot find any good articles to know about a brand new car in this site. This is only for business.

I went to get two tires

I went to get two tires. They would not put my tires on the front of my van like I wanted. I left without getting the tires. They told me that the tires had to be put on the back. My tires were fine on the back.

Horrible service...
October 1, 2014

Horrible service... went poor in new hubs and bearings. They have me back the car pulling bad steering wheel not straight, after they so called did the alignment... any way the manage was pissed cause i took it back. Long story short three days later and they couldn't do the alignment still posted for the service with no compensating for not being able to do alignment and also broke two rear door window guard.

I generally avoid Pepboys because they are expensive and the service is usually pretty mediocre. Better off going to a smaller time local business.

The one in Cathedral City, California, was nothing but great. The guys were really helpful, and Marco (I think that was his name.) was very pleasant and informative. Great staff, stuff is a little expensive but its PepBoys so i like paying for quality. Will come again.

I was very impressed with the PEPBOYS in Lodi NJ on 153 rt 46 W The first thing that I noticed was that the place was sooo clean it was immaculate, I"ve a few bad experiences in their competitors shops, when it was sooo dirty I didn"t want to sit down. I was greeted with smiles here with smiles. They took my car in right away to do an oil change. The store mgr Rey along with his associates were very helpful and really nice. The mechanics at this shop are down to earth, professionals who really took the time to answer my questions with patience. They found a couple of things wrong, a part with all the bolts missing & apart that wasn't the size to fit my car, which would have eventually ended in the collapse of my car and a bad accident. I was shocked to see that the mechanic from my last shop would be so negligent to do this. The PEPBOYS mechanics told me to take pictures with my phone and I did. I feel that these nice guys saved mine and my husbands lives and I am very grateful to them for finding this. Rey the store mgr went out of his way to price parts to get me the best deal and he made me feel very comfortable even giving me the tv remote to watch what I wanted while waiting. This Lodi store worked very well as a team even coming out to check with Rey on certain things. Rey even happily accepted my coupons, while Chris gave me a ride home in his own car so I didn"t have to wait there, although I didn"t mind waiting there since I got a dunkin donuts iced cofffee next door and watched a movie while I waited in the nice clean shop and relaxed.The only thing this shop needs is a bigger sign closer to the high way because its set back and you can"t see it but you can see the competitions bright yellow which is right before PEPBOYS. I really appreciate the whole team at the Lodi shop and am very thankful to them for all the care and help they gave me, especially saving our lives by putting in the correct parts and not leaving very much needed bolts off. 150 percent mark up on parts? Really? 400 dollars for a 200 part? Tell me my tires are EXPIRED and I MUST have new ones or the DOT will give me a ticket? Really?

I'm a resent pepboy customer and would have to say my past visit was outstanding the employees were very friendly and went above and beyond with helping me at the time. They found out what was wrong and fixed my problem that day. They always had a smile on their face. I would like to say thank you to store 69 in Raleigh!
