Once you've submitted your credit card number then they tell you there are no results for this person. How do I even know they did a search? The person I searched had a police record that they couldn't find which makes me very skeptical that they search anything. When I brought this to their attention and asked for a refund they would not give one. Looks and smells like a scam.

The information they give you is whatever they feel like giving you and totally not. Then they hope you won't bother charging back your credit card for a lousy 3.45 after they tell you that they don't issue credits. Bull-oney

This is simply a rip-off. My credit card company went after them and was able to secure a three-month refund... on a completely unwanted, unused and unauthorized account. And the 99 cent trial special was worthless, too. Don't fall for this scam! And whitepages.com should be ashamed of pimping for them.

The Peoplefinder website has hidden a claus that requires cancelation within 3 days or be charged $24.95 behind what appears to be a "Privacy Policy". I called on day 4 when I saw the charge appear and was told by a rude representative that there were no refunds and that

I signed up for one search. They tried, over and over, to get me to sign on for more for more money. After they finally gave up and gave me the results, the results were grossly inaccurate. This was a huge waste of my time and money. Don't use this service unless you want to throw your money away!

This site is useless and has a lot of hidden fees even when you cancel. Also, the costumer service rep that I talked to was incredibly rude. Do not waste your time or money.
