I was scammed by an overseas account that had PayPal's authority to do business and pay pal completely has turned their back on me and authorized this merchant to scam me and other people. GEARDATE.COM AKA RAINBOWWII.COM
PayPal is allowing this site to rip anyone off and get away with it. PayPal did a horrible investigation and NEVER returned my money. I never got my product and I will never do business with PayPal again. NEVER!
I recently made an online purchase for $605 for an Android Game App. The seller made false claims about the item. I filed a dispute with paypal stating that the item was not as described. Immediately after filing the dispute without asking me any questions they just closed the dispute in favor of the seller without any explanation to me. I have been doing business with paypal for many years as a seller for my business. After this, I am looking to switch to a different company. I rarely file any paypal disputes and the day I do, Paypal doesnt care and just disregards it. STAY AWAY FROM PAYPAL - THEY DONT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS- THEY JUST CARE ABOUT MAKING MONEY!
Pp SUCKS. You cant call them and their chat line is a JOKE. I just spent 3 hours trying to transfer my pp bal. To my bank account and couldn't do it. Their web page directs me to xoom web site and they refer me back to pp. Now i have no idea what i have to do to get my money. You cant talk to a real person and i cant use the web site. WHAT A RIPOFF pp.
After almost 4 months of back and forth with Paypal and the scammer-ComfyFree, the case is resolved. Paypal found in my favor and I have received a refund to my credit card. I had chatted and messaged them and really bugged them because they kept changing the resolution date to longer away. I filed a complaint at Better Business Bureau. The case was decided in my favor.
Only time I have had a problem is the last 3 months. A seller from China is scamming people. Lots of people. Three month ordeal of comments on the case in the resolution center. Paypal just keeps dragging it on and lets the seller have more time. I will give it little more time and then I'm filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

After 19 days, my payment of almost $1k to a private recipient is still being held by PayPal for no reason. Neither I or the recipient can get the money. After days of asking their customer service, the newest reply I got is that they are asking the recipient my underage child's birthday information which has nothing to do with this transaction. Of course the recipient does not have that information. This is so ridiculous that it seems to me PayPal is running a scam to get my underage child's private information and to steal my money. There was no communication from PayPal except brief response to my numerous messages and emails, saying that the transaction is under "review". There is no estimated time, no explanation why, no useful information. PayPal's customer service phone line is closed. The only way I can contact them is the messaging system which is just like a machine, delayed responses with no real meaning. PayPal doesn't care how much stress, frustration they caused you and the time you wasted trying to protect your money.
Security hold on my own money being transferred to my own bank account. Despite withdrawing money before, they decided to put my withdrawal on review, leaving me in arrears for my rent.
Literally no information on what on earth it is that they are 'reviewing'. Also, surely they can see that my payment was made through eBay.

Paypal will limit your account and hold your money for 6 months for no reason and if you call they will not give you a reason for doing this because Paypal is very secretive about limited accounts and tell you there is nothing you can do to change they're mind. This seems illegal to me, They do not deserve even one star.

I called to be told they were not accepting calls. I went to website and after getting caught in repeated security texts resulting in impossible loops just gave up. Thinking about closing my account but given recent experience I'm pretty sure that will also be impossibe.
Honestly, I do not understand why the company with the worst customer service ever still exist. PayPal guarantees you full protection if you did not receive the goods or the quality of goods is poor. In fact, it is not true.
I booked flight tickets and paid via PayPal. The flight was cancelled, the seller refused to give money back. I opened the dispute. PayPal closed without explaining the reason. I asked three times to explain the reason, they simply ignore all my questions. They even cannot explain their decisions. People who work there in customer support have 0 willingness to help, to understand the issue and to be professional. They are not able to listen the clients, they do not value them and they will not help you in case of any problems. Avoid this company!
Bought a phone from China. First mistake.
Seller sent me wires, not phone. They tricked me, delaying till eBay coverage ended. But PayPal covers you for 6 months, right? WRONG.
Paypal just accepted and then repeatedly denied my claim despite me providing clear evidence.
Now their automated system just keeps rejecting my claim saying I didn't provide a tracking # (which I did and is clearly on their dispute page. Twice. Their Customer Service phone is shut down due to Covid 19, which is understandable. Of course you have to spend 5 minutes on the phone unching #s to find that out.
Lousy custoer service. They claim they cover the buyer for scams but not in my experience.
Don't buy from China and don't use PayPal.

The customer service is robotic, sending out the same response, all they do is quote terms at you without actually answering your question. I bought from a China company, the product was defective and the company refused to refund, despite sending them photos and video that they asked for they told me not to return the item as it would be more expensive than the refund. PayPal told me to return and then I MAY get a refund and the postage costs back. Despite sending them the email from the seller saying otherwise they would not refund me or help in any way. Feeling very frustrated and let down.

Paypal is a joke... first thing is that they put all my money on hold and won't tell me why. Second, you can't talk to anyone. No phone number to call and find out why my money is on hold. Third, you can't even email them... When you try to send a message they give you a computerized response that has nothing to do with your question... WTH! So when you sell something on ebay and use paypal they can hold your money for 15 days. Shame on you... That is not right..

They paid a Shopify company for an item I did not receive. They said the tracking showed it as delivered. Not so. I believe they sent an item worth a buck instead of my $89.00 order.

Both happened to come from the same seller. The 1st order I ordered a large dress for me and it wasn't even big enough for my 11-year-old granddaughter. I asked for a shipping label so I could send it back and I was told I had to pay for the shipping back. I escalated it to PayPal since it was not as described in the size chart, I supplied pictures and still was denied. I mailed it back at my cost and the seller emailed me that they DID receive it but because I didn't send it to them with a tracking number they were NOT going to give me a refund! Even though they said they did receive it! The 2nd order was a dog gate that didn't have all the pieces, missing the essential one to make it work and the same was asked, ME TO PAY TO SEND IT BACK then I would get a refund. Paypal doesn't even read your escalation letters and doesn't stand behind you the consumer. This is the last time I will use PayPal. I will do all my purchases on Amazon since they stand behind your purchases. Bye bye paypal.
I was supposed to have my stimulus check posted to my PayPal account today per the irs. I still haven't received it. You can't speak to customer service. They have had the phone lines down all day refusing to talk to people. Everyone has received their stimulus payments except PayPal customers. Don't use PayPal!

I bought an item that was totally wrong, advertised as "handmade, hand quilted, made of brushed Kona cotton", picture was beautiful with wonderful quilting and vibrant colors and I was buying from a company from Texas. I received an item from Texas, not handmade, not hand quilted, not vibrant colors, not brushed cotton and it was just a picture printed on cheap polyester/nylon fabric. Hideous. I paid $99.90. Company first offered to refund $30, nope, still way too expensive for a cheap quilt that I wouldn't even use for my pets. Then said if I return the "quilt" to China at my expense they would refund the money. Cost to return? $70. Paypal agreed with this company, denied my claim and I'm sitting here with something I would feel cheated if I paid $10. Paypal is not the company it once was. Use your credit card as that company will have your back. Looking to see what a better option is than Paypal. 20 year customer and I'm done. I do not think anyone actually reads our messages to Paypal.

Answer: USPS delievered it to the wrong address my pacakge was supposed to be delievered too 35710 Bay Morgan Ln, Fallbrook, CA 92028 when USPS delivered it to an address simillar to this one 12354 Alcatal Street (do not know the exact address since they did not email me, but you can call USPS and ask, and that is how I found out) Fallbrook, CA 92028, right city and zip code, far away address.
