I ordered several items and paid with paypal. They turned out to be phony sellers from China and they send the same tracking info that the package is ready for shipment. When paypal emails them they just send another email with a different date. It's been a month and I have gotten nowhere with paypal. I will not use paypal again and never buy from Chinese sellers!
PayPal does not protect the buyer like most company's they are more for the seller so if they sell u something that isnt what u recieved PayPal will still rule against u so beware of what u buy they will not help u

I ORDERED AN ITEM FROM A WEBSITE I DIDN'T KNOW EXISTED IN CHINA, NO INDICATIONS AT ALL. THE PRODUCTS I RECEIVED WAS NOT WHAT I ORDERED AND WHILE SELLER ADMITS TO THIS PAYPAL DECIDED THAT IN ORDER FOR ME TO GET A FULL REFUND I WILL HAVE TO PAY OVER $100 IN SHIPPING TO GET BACK $53.44. TO ME THIS SEEMS AS IF I AM AT FAULT. THE COURIER SERVICE ADVISED ME AGAINT TAKING THE RISK AND PAYPAL REFUSE TO PROTECT ME EVEN WHEN THEY HAVE MESSAGE OF THE SELLER SAYING THIS: "Dear Customer, Thanks for your response. There is a little difference between ads and the real product. We don't have the totally same product". NOW HOW AM I THE ONE PAYING FOR SHIPMENT. THIS IS A SCAM AND I ALSO PROVIDE PAYPAL WITH PROOF OF THE SELLER DOING THIS TO OTHER BUT PAYPAL KEEP PROTECTING THESE SELLERS FROM CHINA. PAYPAL ALSO ADVISED ME TO DISPUTE WITH MY BANK AND MY BANK DISPUTED WITH PAYPAL AND PAYPAL TOOK THE MONEY BACK FROM MY ACCOUNT... PAYPAL=SCAMMERS
Paypal lets you cancel ongoing subscriptions AS SOON AS YOU'VE SIGNED UP FOR THEM. They do this without telling the people who will be billing you. This makes so I can in fact, sign up for a free trial run, or buy only a few months of something without being concerned I will forget about it, be siphoned, and have to "Ask for my money back".
I just go to to the subscriptions area and cancel immediately. Then, when I receive an email from the subscription when they try to bill me and fail, that's when I ask myself if I want to continue the service. I have actual real secure control of my own money. This funnily enough makes it so I am more willing to try new things and spend more money, because I know I CANT be screwed. Only my own hand reaches into my pocket with paypal, and paypal is the false pocket that fools the world for me so I can have it easy.
Also, a while ago, they just trusted me to have the money I said I did when I used them with a direct withdraw system. I just cant get over how much more convenient and safe they have made everything for me.
Paypal, I cannot describe how much easier this simple service has made my life. I get the impression these features been deliberately excluded on other platforms. I will use you until I die, or this service goes away.

It is not directed to all PayPal staff. Ordered item of importance for blood pressure so my cardiologist would have readings. Ordered on the 11th of March and by the second of April still no item. I was given two different tracking company's that only showed movement after PayPal contact china. PayPal were to give me a date on a decision for refund and they did give a date. They then changed the date to the 26th. After checking again and they have no changed it again to may. Basically telling the buyer to f... Off and wait as long as it takes. PayPal are looking out for the sellers. People should start taking PayPal to small claims court to teach them a lesson. Or maybe a trip to there office when the lock down is lifted and see how smart they are face to face.
I had someone hack into my Paypal account 3 months ago. Paypal put "limitations on my account" (rendered it unable to used by me) until I provided information to confirm I was the authorized user. I did so, they confirmed the receipt of it, and three months later, it is still "under review". I can't seem to get in touch with a real person there, I just get caught in an endless loop that keeps referring me back to the Resolution Center, which tells me I have submitted everything and it is under review. Three months?
I did one international transaction via PayPal. And the recipient got the money. After 5 minutes did one more transaction to the same person and it got stuck somewhere. My bank says they didn't do that. I keep sending messages to Paypal and they simply football me from one agent to an other. No information providing at all. Saying only that they understand my problem and next message that I was stepped out of chat and they do reply only online! Does it mean that for my money I have to be online with them 24/7?! Weird! I consider it as a cheating and 3 days of stressing myself for my own money! I ll never recommend them to anyone! Especially if you using they system to transfer money! You never know if it will happen and you don't have lost them at all!
Terrible experience. Main problems: 1) Unable to access business account if business is in a a different country and I am accessing the account from a different. Already have lots of money blocked for 10+ years on this nonsense! 2) No easy way to find subscriptions. 3) They put your money on hold for nothing and will never recover.
They changed their refund policy in October of 2019. Did you know that if someone sends you money, money that you need to refund for whatever reason, you're still on the hook for their fee? Even if someone sends you money and you find a problem with their PayPal account and refund the payment, you're on the hook for the fee. And, they don't refund the money from your PayPal balance, so don't be surprised if your checking account goes into overdraft. I cancelled a sale because the buyer didn't fit THEIR requirements, and I would not be protected, and not only did I have to pay the transaction fee, I got stuck with an overdraft fee from my bank.
PayPal is inadvertently supporting a new type of scam that you need to be aware of, and that is the reason I have stopped using PayPal entirely and am closing my account with them.
Scam sellers are shipping something *near* your address and send you the tracking number, so that it shows up on UPS's tracking site as "delivered" to your city. When you contact UPS, they ask for your address and then tell you "That item was not sent to your address." They won't give you any additional information.
You then provide this information to PayPal, who opens an "investigation." They then respond to say "oh, that item was delivered, claim denied." You then ask them how that can possibly be and they don't respond.
Lesson learned, account closed, app deleted.
Upon fraudulent charges being made on my account, PayPal's final decision is the following: "We have reviewed this transaction(s) and are denying your case(s). This decision was made because this transaction was not unauthorized." Please learn from my mistake and do not trust this horrible company. I have been using PayPal for years without a dispute and this is the response I get when I am in need. They can not be trusted.
Ordered items from China (first mistake). Used PayPal in attempt to mitigate any problems. After a month, attempted several times as to contact seller to ascertain status. No response, believe it's a bogus company. Turned to PayPal for help. One month later they stated seller had proof of delivery. What a joke. Seller just makes up information and gives erroneous numbers to PayPal. No information on name of delivery company, when it was supposed to have been delivered. PayPal resolution center is a joke. Will never use them again.
Paypal is as much a fraud as the fraudulent merchants they service. They side with their merchants when filing a complaint with zero support for their decision. When a merchant didn't send me what I purhased, Paypal just shows you the tracking number and says it's resolved. Not only is that not sufficient sinc I received a $5 item for $29 but the tracking link didn't even work. To boot, you can't get a hold of customer service. I closed my account. They are a FRAUD.
Very bad support. Since 2014 I have BRL 1549 in my account and PayPal refuses to withdraw to my bank account.

They attempted to calm me down by sending jibberish emails written by someone who knows as much English as a muffin. It's 2020, get it together. Trash. Total garbage. Use anything else.

I sent my Daughter $100 through Messenger, it worked before, but now she did not receive it during time of need this Covid 19, plus there damn fees, and she did not receive it. PayPal staff was rude! Had an unauthorized charge on my PayPal account and opened a case in the resolution center. They denied it within an hour saying that the charge was not unauthorized. Uh, yes it was... they obviously side with businesses over their customers. They didn't even look into my case and there's no way to dispute it.
I was scammed by an overseas account that had PayPal's authority to do business and pay pal completely has turned their back on me and authorized this merchant to scam me and other people. GEARDATE.COM AKA RAINBOWWII.COM
PayPal is allowing this site to rip anyone off and get away with it. PayPal did a horrible investigation and NEVER returned my money. I never got my product and I will never do business with PayPal again. NEVER!

I bought an item that was totally wrong, advertised as "handmade, hand quilted, made of brushed Kona cotton", picture was beautiful with wonderful quilting and vibrant colors and I was buying from a company from Texas. I received an item from Texas, not handmade, not hand quilted, not vibrant colors, not brushed cotton and it was just a picture printed on cheap polyester/nylon fabric. Hideous. I paid $99.90. Company first offered to refund $30, nope, still way too expensive for a cheap quilt that I wouldn't even use for my pets. Then said if I return the "quilt" to China at my expense they would refund the money. Cost to return? $70. Paypal agreed with this company, denied my claim and I'm sitting here with something I would feel cheated if I paid $10. Paypal is not the company it once was. Use your credit card as that company will have your back. Looking to see what a better option is than Paypal. 20 year customer and I'm done. I do not think anyone actually reads our messages to Paypal.

Answer: USPS delievered it to the wrong address my pacakge was supposed to be delievered too 35710 Bay Morgan Ln, Fallbrook, CA 92028 when USPS delivered it to an address simillar to this one 12354 Alcatal Street (do not know the exact address since they did not email me, but you can call USPS and ask, and that is how I found out) Fallbrook, CA 92028, right city and zip code, far away address.
Answer: I'm thinking someone has to work there, if you send messages you will get a canned reply, I get the same response from 10 messages, basically "suck it up buttercup, you have just been played" but if you try to actually talk to a person good luck.
