Terrible experience. Held my money indefinitely and charge a 'service' fee for doing so. Customer support is essentially non-existent and does nothing. They even tried debiting money from my bank account without permission ever being given - They do not even let you remove details or shut down your account. Terrible service, it will give you nothing but stress.

Paypal asks for tracking information for each sale when is deliver then they will release YOUR money within 24 hours or so. Welp! They don't track the information you provide. Then they have you go back and forth about it. You send them screenshots of the delivery date and time as well as the tracking information. Then they have the audacity to say that they can't see the screenshots. A week passes and you have to literally get nasty in order to get their attention! PLEASE do not use paypal. I am trying to remove it from my business as we speak. They just send automated messages without even analyzing the situation.

When will someone go lobby the right person to shut PayPal down they are dishonest in every aspect. They are currently trying to cheat me out of $4300. Please everyone who has gotten cheated by PayPal contact the California attorney general by email and file a complaint

PayPal SUCKS

I payed my paypal credit bill in full and they took my money immediately but it did not change my balance on the app for 9 days. Finally I called and waited on hold for 20 minutes to get the dumbest customer service rep in the world that I could hardly understand. They told me it could take up to 2 weeks for the app to update. Not acceptable. I am still disputing a $9000 transaction that PayPal paid the person I sent the money to twice and I am trying to get my $9000 back. Again, they said it could take two weeks. PAYPAL SUCKS.

PayPal does not protect you as a consumer and secure your payments and order. I order about $260 that I never received the package. PayPal dispute and said there is a tracking number delivered. There is nothing they can do. I request photo and proof of deliver and they can not provide. So if PayPal is not care for their customers why we have to use them and keep loosing our money. Go somewhere else if possible. I don't know how this company can grow so big with all the theft.

Do not use

Paypal does not protect or secure your payments. Back merchants. Bought two chairs from a site that only uses PayPal. When I received the package it was two small sleeves for chairs. PayPal said that since there was a teacking number and it was delivered, there is nothing they can do about it.

I wish 0 star was an option...

PayPal take absolutely no responsibility when it comes to almost anything. You can tell that anyone working for their customer services have been trained in how to shift you and your problem onto someone else. I'm out £500 and PayPal will do nothing to help. They're awful. They have the worst customer services I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with. If you can find a good (or any) alternative, please do.

I recently was a victim of A fraudulent listing. I was led to believe that I would have 2 day shipping, so I had no reason to believe that this was out of country. I told PayPal as soon as I learned that it was, that I thought that it may be fraud. The seller provided a tracking number, so I Thought that the issue was resolved. When I received the item, it was not what I had ordered and was of extreme lesser value. Upon contacting PayPal about this I was told that they would resolve the dispute if I were to pay return shipping overseas camo which was about $25 at the minimum. I am trying to currently resolve this issue and am being ignored. $25 is literally 1/4 of what I paid and total price. I have trusted PayPal as A merchant's before this, but I will be taking my business elsewhere at the issue is left unresolved. This is ridiculous, I am the victim and being forced to pay return shipping. I really hope that pay pal makes this right.

Contacted paypal about a fraudulent company that took payment for a watch while masquerading as fitbit, and did not send me a watch. These guys at paypal are a bunch of amateurs. When the company was contacted by paypal, they sent tracking info from ups with a delivery address that was different from mine. So this should have established the fact that I did not receive the product. Instead, paypal denied the case because the company sent them tracking info. There is apparently no way to appeal the paypal decision.

BEWARE Paypal wants your money and will deny all claims without proper checking. There is no benefit to them to do an honest job of handling claims. These scam companies will USPS you a small envelope of trash and then submit that tracking number to Paypal as proof of filling your purchase. That's good enough for Paypal and they deny your claim and refuse to hear any more about it. Closed my account and sold off my stock holdings. They are promoting the foreign scamming that we are all trying to avoid. Key learning: If a company won't take your credit card it is because they know your CC Company will honor a legitimate claim.

Paypal is theft I don't know what to say, bad customer service or a garbage system. Paypal's policy says if you are banned and there is money in your account, the refund will take place within 180 days, and this is ridiculous. I've waited 180 days and all I contact with them tells me to withdraw your money. 2 years so far, yes, this is the truth, two years ago, and the money has not been recovered. This is not a large sum, it is just 300 dollars, but it is a matter of principle
In the end, I do not recommend dealing with them at all, you will lose your money in the end

The runaround

Well I been trying to get my money back for a item I did not recieve since July/2020. Can't contact customer service. Their telling me I recieved the product damaged. Which I did not recieve anything till today. Give me the runaround for my refund. I understand covid 19 has effected the whole world. It takes them 2 seconds to debit your account. But takes them months to get your refund back. Please refund my money I did not recieved the item.

I purchased via PayPal couple of smart watches through ads on FB and after 2 months of waiting got completely different products worth nothing maybe 50 cents each and missing charger. Supposedly PayPal is like an "escrow" between you and seller but in reality they dont give a damn about you the customer and rather support the sellers
They ruled in favor of sellers when I failed to provide the return info to MALAYSIA and CHINA - can you imagine that I had to pay for for the bad product return which sellers know we will not do actually they are counting on that and PayPal is supporting them - dont use them there is no recovery

PayPal has greatly disappointed and frustrated me with their lack of compassion and protocol. I've been trying to receive help with a transaction issue for about week now. There is no way to contact a live agent, the so called "message center" does not reply promptly, and when they do they do not provide any assistance on solving your issue.

I am done with PayPal forever! This past week has been a nuisance. I will never recommend their service to anyone because they clearly seem to have no care for their customers. I mean... just look at their reviews online! Its ridiculous and a shame. I am indeed closing my account as soon as I get this situation resolved.

The record-keeping and timeliness are atrocious for a financial company. The customer service is horrid and they seem to not know anything that they are doing. Cases that are simple take forever because of poor tracking of the account. Very disappointed from both a customer and business perspective. They hold funds even when a refund is granted and authorized by the merchant. Atrocious.

I moved and changed my address on my PayPal account. Later ordered several items that were sent to my old address. I never received the items. PayPal has been "investigating" my two claims for about 6 months and making no progress.

On several other occasions I placed a purchase order with a vendor and there was an option to use PayPal or my Credit Card. Two times I chose the credit card and both went through PayPal. I submitted a claim and all I get back from PayPal is a "better explanation" of the occurrence.

They are blaming their lack of service on the Covid 19 issue. Strange that whenever I have an issue with my credit card company, I get to talk to a live person. That is no longer possible with PayPal.

So I am now cancelling my account as they offer no value whatsoever.

Do not use PayPal!

Paypal is the worst when it comes to transaction fees, and providing up-front statements about how they charge almost 3% for these transactions. So bad, that they even charged me 3% for a direct withdrawal out of my bank account. When I disputed my charges, their resolution was simply to reply after 5-7 days saying "denied" and that my transaction did not qualify for a dispute resolution. This is just awful! When I tried to reach them through their website, chat or toll free #, no option were provided and their service center disconnected my call after learning what I was calling about (i. E. entered my case #). So pathetic, fraudulent and complete lack of regard for customer service. They have NO PLACE in today's customer-centric environment and no one ought to use them when so many other good options are available that make so much more sense and are easier to use. I have closed my account and they didn't even care to ask why I chose to do so. Wow!

Can't follow the instructions provided, poor support for buyer, too long of refund policy, openly allow scam sellers from FACEBOOK to send deceive products to buyer & not providing full refund & support service, it creates a very difficult & complicated refund policies for the buyers, presently, 1st case I lost 50% of my paid money & without any assistance, 2nd case now provides impossible refund & contact informations, so far, I can't contact customer support & can't even talk to any anyone, After this's over, I am canceling my account & will tell every body the terrible rip off experiences from PayPal, irresponsible support, too long refund policy, impossible customer contact service, instructions provided for dealing of refund case does not work. Allowing & advantages for scammer to make rip off deal to the buyer & provided impossible instructions to follow, buyer is left to deal with all the difficulties of the sellers scam deals to the buyer. PayPal tolerate scams from FACEBOOK sellers to use its services to openly rip off buyers, DON'T USE PAYPAL, YOU WILL BE SORRY ONCE YOU HAVE TO DEAL WITH A REFUND.
