There dirty crooks

I purchased a laptop for $ 79.99. It never arrived and when I contacted The dealer no responce! I contacted Pay Pal and they sent me a tracking number from the dealer. I contacted UPS and was told the tracking number was a false number. Pay Pal denied my claim. Siding with the crooked dealer. Plan and simple I will never make a purchase with them again. There Crooks as well!

I woke up 10 days ago and find out my Paypal account was hacked and someone spent my money on some cd keys on some scam sites. Nothing to help from Paypal, just a bunch of bs how they cannot to anythig.
So, guys, avoid Paypal, anyone can hack into Paypal and use your earned money for their benefit.

I always thought that my money would be protected if I paid using PayPal, how wrong could I be.
I placed an order on what I believed to be a German website only to find that it was in fact another Chinese scam, I ordered 3 blouses, after a whole month the order hadn't been shipped, I contacted the merchant who asked me to be patient because of Covid19, several weeks later I received an email from the merchant saying my order had been delivered, I hadn't received anything and the tracking number didn't work. I launched a claim with Paypal and it took them over 2 months to decide in the merchant's favour! I have since asked my bank but because the purchase was more than 90 days ago they cannot do anything, shame on you PayPal

I ordered a very expensive item from Ebay (1st mistake) and the seller has never responded to the order or to messages asking for a reply. I canceled the order within an hour of paying for it with PayPal (2nd mistake) and seller still hasn't acknowledged the cancellation. PayPal will not release my funds until the seller responds - or 2 weeks, whichever comes 1st (I guess). This is wrong. Those funds should be released to the buyer and should never have been taken from my account until the product shipped. Of course, there isn't anyone to talk to. I only have messages that I'm submitting t an attorney to handle. Never Again!

Look I inform you of a vendor who is obviously fraudulent
With a disappearing website you let the transaction be on hold anyway for a stinking month. The scumbag seller finally takes the money and you make me wait an additional 3 weeks for a resolution. Buyer protection that's laughable. Thanks for nothing jerks

PayPal's dispute / claims / Resolution process is seriously flawed. I ordered items from China and felt that using PayPal would protect me against what exactly happened. Mine was Case ID PP-D-*******. I ordered 6 items.
Five were correct. One wasn't even close to what I had ordered (garbage comparatively). I completed PayPal's dispute / resolution / claim process and requested reimbursement for the one item - noting that I'd be keeping the other 5. The Vendor responded within the process and offered a full refund of my entire order if I returned "all" items with their original packaging, tags, etc. Since I intended to keep the 5, I no longer had the packaging. The resolution process however stated that I had only one option - return everything and get a full refund. The system is so automated that it can't go beyond the structure established. I had no way of letting PayPal know what was going on and that the Vendor's response was in fact abusing their system. I did send an e-mail to their customer service, but got back what appeared to be a "canned" response which was of NO help. I will NEVER trust PayPal to protect me from such abuse. You should not either!

Paypal assists people who receive funds that they are not entitled to. I sent $400 many months ago to a person who *******@yahoo.com when i meant to send it to a person with the same initial and *******@hotmail.com. I immediately notified Paypal and, sent an email to the *******@yahooasking them to return the funds. Basically the person kept as in stole my funds and Paypal washed their hands completely! Obviously they have all of this person's information but it appears that they are more interested in assisting the person that i sent the money to in error to steal my funds as they categorically refused to help me. Told me to get a lawyer and sue! Really? A ruthless company only interested in making money! I am 75 years old and unemployed so can hardly afford to be cheated out of $400.

"Customer Care" representatives are anything but customer-oriented. I payed the ten dollar fee to have funds transferred from PayPal Cash to my checking account. I've done this several times over the past 20 months in order to meet the requirements of "free checking" with Citizens Bank. The PayPal site claims the funds will appear within a few minutes, and every time before this it has. But this time it didn't. After frustrations with inadequate/dysfunctional online HELP, a 42 minute call got nowhere. PayPal claims they completed the transfer of funds more than 24 hours ago. My bank claims there is no record of funds transfer. Neither institution will admit fault and will not assist until I give it 5 business days to magically appear. I'm out $1,000.00 with no recourse. STAY AWAY FROM PAYPAL, IT IS CORRUPT!

Don't use this company

I bought tickets for a concert using Pay Pal. The concert never took place and PayPal denied my claim. They are in cahoots with a bunch of scammers. Ri[p of artistes. I cancelled my account and won't use them again. Ever. I would give them 0 stars but that is not an option.

Nobody knows anything

I have been trying to get my money back from a purchase May 15th I have gone around and around in circles. Finally got the package shipped back to the person and the people don't read the comments above. I've been having problems uploading the stuff and the guy tells me to upload it the place that I'm having problems at! So far I would not recommend PayPal for trying to get your money back.

Horrific customer service - No telephone number - takes them a day to respond to a message only to have to repeat yourself over and over again to a different agent somewhere in God knows which country each time

Never again will I use paypal..

If you're a Seller and in need of their Customer support STAY AWAY! They have terrible, careless, nonempathic AND LAZY Customer Support which costed me money!

One of my buyers chargebacked me because I haven't 'delivered the item'. Paypal then contacted me to submit evidence if I have indeed delivered the item. I gave all necessary information, communication logs with the buyer which proves he got the item, and I SPECIFICALLY WROTE BACK 'IF THEY NEED MORE EVIDENCE I'M HAPPY TO OBLIGE'. Days later they just closed my case (without even their customer support contacting me again!). What made me mad is they acknowledged that "(They) weren't able to verify the delivery information you provided", but instead of asking for more proofs and evidence (WHICH I ALREADY SAID I'M MORE THAN HAPPY TO OBLIGE) and decided in the favor of the buyer, causing me to lose my money.

Better stay away from this company. I netted Paypal close to TWICE the amount I lost on paying their fees over 4 years alone and they won't even return the money I lost.

All of their customer support have NO EMPATHY at all, even after I told them where the funds are used for (I'm supporting a sick family member)

I have ordered an item form abroad and it appeared to be scam cause I didn't order what I wanted. I put on dispute case on 2 of August and I provided proof. I suppose to have an resolution at 12 of August now I still didn't receive any solution. What is more since 28th of August I can't even sent the message to pay pal. They keep changing resolution day a day before planned resolution constantly on 28th they moved resolution to 31st and today they did it again for 3rd of September... I can't even ask for the reason. 22nd I received last message from pay pal customer service that if seller will not respond within 3 days I will get my money back.

I am still waiting. For sure cancel account soon, first transaction with pay pal horrible experience. Don't let them full you cause that what they are doing when issue appears. They don't protect you as buyer at all.

Paypal will not refund money for advertised goods that are not delivered as advertised, particularly goods coming from China. They know its a scam but still pay customers money to the scam advertisers and whe you make a claim, they turn you down for a refund. They have done this to me on more than one occasion so I will not use PayPal again and will not purchase any other goods from China. My latest invoice from PayPal clearly stated that I was purchasing a multifunction circular saw and blades as advertised. All I received was some useless circular blades. PayPal refused to refund my money. Bye. Bye PayPal forever

I have used PayPal mostly due to the ability to move money around. I bought a Vortex Red Dot site from a company called Feathern. Site. At the time of the purchase I was not aware that they were based out of China. I finally received the piece and it was not a Vortex Red Dot site... the piece had no manufacturer marking or serial numbers and the photocopied "instruction manual" didn't either. I took pictures of everything and opened a case with the paypal resolution center. Approximately 60-days later a decision was rendered that was not in my favor. I was looking for my money back or for the company to send me a Vortex red dot site. Other than stating that the decision was not in my favor there was no other information about what the decision was based on. I called into customer support to get more information and found out that paypal had decided that I had ordered a Vortex red dot site and since I had received a red dot site my claim was invalid. If I wanted to pursue it then I would need to go to my bank that had the debit card that the funds had been pulled with. What I ordered had been defined as a "Vortex Optics Crossfire Red Dot Sight Gen II×1" and what I received did not even come close to what had been described. Paypals attitude was that I ordered a red dot site and I had received a red dot site which is not a satisfactory response. I have two morals to this story... 1. Be very careful when doing business in China and 2. Do not do business with Paypal. Their actions do not fall in line with their advertising and they customer service is very bad.

If you purchase a product and it ends up being a scam Pay Pal doesn't support your claim. I ordered a bike and received a flimsy piece of plastic from china. I filed a claim with Pay Pal and sent pictures they still did nothing. I called the phone number attached to the site I ordered from and found out that it was fake. No help from Pay Pal and I am out $63. Never again will I use Pay Pal
