I purchased a product from a Chinese company and received instead of the article I ordered a toy worth about 25cents (the product I ordered worth about 25dollars). I sent Paypal pictures of what I was supposed to get and what I received. Paypal wanted more and more information that I was not able to provide. Paypal denied my claim and I lost 25dollars. Paypal offers no protection when you are scammed. Avoid Paypal.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Paypal is the worst business on the planet. Their customer service is poor, they don't have any idea how to fix an issue. Oh. And they permanently limited my account... why? They haven't said nor do they admit to any wrongdoing on their part. I sell ebay products... and yet somehow they found a reason to permanently limit my account. Stay far away from this business as possible. They'll cheat you of your money

I made a keystroke error and sent money to the wrong email address. Once the money has been transferred to the incorrect email address you have no option to get your money back. There is no review of the transaction details before sending the email so if you've made a mistake its game over and your money is gone. PayPal asks that you request a refund from the person that mistakenly now has your money. You don't know this person and they don't know you so why would this unknown person return your money to you. Pay Pal has no information on how to cancel or get your money back on their website, their forums, or blogs, or their automated telephone system. DONT DO IT! My bank can transfer money directly into another persons account if you have their account information. They can make these money transfer in almost every country in the world for a five dollar fee. TD bank also has a twenty four seven call centre thats staffed by Canadians that are much easier to understand. The process is done on line and they will assist you by phone and have the same screen as your screen. Currency calculations on the site allow you to accurately transfer money. Why bother with the hassle of using a business thats fully automated with almost no customer service. No more visiting a money exchange and transfer business. Im amazed at how Pay Pal can do billions of dollars in business and provide such terrible customer service. Getting a dispute resolved is an massive waste of time. People using these services are getting sucked in to the vacuum of the these internet time thief run by companies who have no concept of customer service but still make money from all the suckers on the internet.

China scams

Paypal are a disgrace we use them for protection when buying goods on-line. They support the China scams to no end. They refuse to refund money when they know that us their client has been scammed by some one using their services. They come up with excuse after excuse whilst protecting the Chinese scam companies. Stay away from PayPal. We must all stick together to stop PayPal from lying and cheating their clients ie us. They are crooks and should be held accountable

I purchased an item that said "100% risk free". The item was not what was advertised. Advertisement said realistic looking Husky but it looks like a cheap Dollar store toy. I filed a complaint with Paypal. After several harassing emails from seller PayPal agreed to a full refund if mail and pay for tracking this garbage toy back to China. I will never purchase from PayPal again.

I did not authorize any transaction to send money. On the 12th of October 2020 while I was still asleep a transaction was made on my PayPal account in the amount of $680 and $20.02 in fees. This amount was sent to someone whom I have no idea/connection/relations with what so ever. And transaction was sent as Friends and Families. PayPal was contacted 1 hours and so many minutes afterward. I contacted my bank first since I saw the transaction on my bank account. PayPal was contacted as soon as I realized the transaction was through PayPal. PayPal denied my dispute saying that my transaction was not unauthorized. Not considering the facts I have already told them. PayPal did not send me any notifications of suspicious activity logging in on another device until 10:48 AM PDT. While transaction was process at 09:16 AM PDT while I was asleep. I would stop using PayPal as they can denied and send your money where ever they want and say it's families and friends to whom you're sending too. They sent me two emails. One stating they denied my dispute due to it not being unauthorized. And the second one, stating that they cannot investigate into this matter since I filed it with my bank and not with them. I'll never use PayPal or any of it's affiliated business partners.

Going In Circles

I can't reset my password because I can't remember exactly how I spelt my security questions. I have changed my mobile number so I can't be texted. I can't send them an email or question without logging in. It's been so long and even the community chat group for it requests I log in first. It's actually made trying to use this service so painful. I'm a legitimate person and I can't access my account?

I don't recommend PayPal

We sent a package to Johannesburg and the female received it but we still don't have the money she payed through PayPal and it's been 3 working days, can't even get hold of them, it says their numbers are unavailable, I don't recommend them, it's my first time using PayPal but my boyfriend has used it a lot previously, he said this situation has never happened before, throughout this situation we would not use it again, because they promised it to us after we show proof of the package sent.

3 cases and lost all w no refunds! 1st was cancelled purchase w/i hour &got no refund. 2nd was "bait n switch" w chinese company for "night vision binos" for@$50 & got cheap $2 plastic junk. 3rd was broken wi-fi camera from "fineniko" out of canada & again lost case for refund? Paypal is pretty much useless when it comes to purchaser defense and refunds. I will never use them again.

Ordered plants online from a US based company. Except it actually wasnt- it was a Chinese. They labelled the plants "toys" and sent a literal box of dirt. When I filed a complaint, the company asked me to send back the items to an address written in chinese. Why would I keep dirt to send back to China? PayPal's bot rejected my claim. When I called they said there was nothing they could so. I complained on FB, they told me to dm them and then blocked me within a minute of posting. Scam company. Do not do business with them.

Please do not use this service for any reason. I booked a flight online with an online travel service. Usually you get a confirmation through email almost immediately after purchase. After waiting about an hour an no confirmation, I contacted PayPal and asked that they stop the transaction (which had already went through). After filing a complaint, booking and paying for another flight, and waited. I waited for over a month to be told by PayPal that they were not going to refund my money.

They know what the crooks are doing but do nothing to protect their users. In recent encounter of Paypal's dispute center, they ignore the evidence (USPS receipt) provided and ruled for the crooks. They are just like Facebook letting criminals run their sites.

I have used PayPal for years without any problems. However I recently purchased an item from a vendor and ran into multiple difficulties. First the product took over 90 days to get delivered. When it did arrive it was not remotely similar to what was advertised. I opened a case in August and as of today October 14th I am still waiting to receive a refund. Not only did I pay for the purchase in July, but I had to pay to ship the product back at my expense. It is impossible to contact someone at PayPal to discuss the issue. If your problem doesn't fit their scripted issues their help and chat provisions are worthless. I will not use this service in the future because of their customer service and inability to address problems.

It's been 2 months almost i'm trying to get a refund for something i ordered in April.
I showed them emails that the compagnie told me in September that the adress was wrong and that they will send back my order, but Paypal continu to believe them when they said it'S delivered since May? But in September the adress wasn't good? You get it! I got it! I will think twice before doing a purchase again with Paypal.

PayPall does not honor their purchase protection policy. If you get scammed by an on-line chinese company they believe their lies without due diligence i. E. it was delivered, but not so. There are reviews of that fraudulent company with the same buyer experience. I am sure they filed a dispute with PayPal, but PayPal does not acknowledge that Seller is a repeat offender.
