Think twice before using PayPal as your seller account. They hold on your money and invest them to gain own profit. Mine parcel was delivered more than week ago. I have received positive feedback and PayPal still hold to mine money and invest them. Even though they been provided with tracking info still holding funds to gain own profit. Liers and frauds not recomended. Time to find other way to sell in UK.

I was of the understanding that using paypal was a secure way to be protected when purchasing on line. BEWARE it is absolutely useless and even though I photographs, 100% proof that I was right my case was denied. I will never use paypal again. I bought a mobile phone online and was sent a clay brick instead... had it photographed sent all documents to pay pal and got not help whatsoever. I now have a $943 brick! Not sure how I will make telephone calls with it. What further evidence do they require to refund my money? No support or help given. Even the shipping slip valued the items at $94 and still no refund. Tobys Deals ignored me but I have now reported them to Hong Kong Council for unethical conduct.

I cant send anyone money it should have been renamed to pisspal because this company is a big puddle of piss it cannot confirm who i am i logged in on an iphone and nothing on the internet is helping me im just about to give up on this site and smash my skull against a brick wall. If you're looking for a money sharing website this is not the site you want to go to. Support literally does nothing like it is non existent the staff is the worst and they never listen to their customers. You know if you got a company you got a responsibility

Sucks

PayPal has screwed me several times. The merchant either send something you didn't order or parts of the order and sometimes nothing at all. When you explain your situation they act like they will help but they don't listen to what you say and from my experience they always favor the merchant and you don't get another chance. So PayPal good bye good ridden

Stay away at all cost!

If you are a business owner DO NOT process with them. PayPal holds funds for days and sometimes even weeks asking you to provide the same documents you provide to open the account. They are abusing their power in order to play with your money. They customer service is absolutely horrible to say the least. Stripe might not be better but at least they do not block your money!

Paypal scammed me out of $4700. 00. They are lying cheats and thieves. Don't trust them! I had a customer send me $4700 and PayPal kept it and didn't ever release their hold on the money. They will cheat you! Don't ever trust Paypal

PayPal´s customer support is poor, as good as non-existing. They are customer adverse, only want the money out of your pockets. Don´t make a new account with them, because you´ll not be able to remove it.

Worse business in the entire world right now... shame on you for holding money from a person that received donation money for nonprofit preaching the good news. Vengeance is coming down on you swiftly you will fall and everything you thought was secure will utterly diminish to nothing if you dont make your wrong right with God's child.

What a disappointment!

A resolution in favor of a fraudulent seller. I buy four dresses and they send me 4 horrible t-shirts that have nothing to do with the clothes I ordered. They ask me to return them to China and I spend hours and hours of my time contacting Paypal and sending emails and more emails, claims and more claims. Nobody answered and the case was suddenly closed in favor of the seller. EVERYTHING was going great with PayPal until I needed them to fix a problem. PayPal needs to significantly improve its service and shouldn´t be allowed to support this type of business.

What a nightmare their customer care has been, I had to open a dispute 3 times despite evidence of the vendor making a mistake and stating a refund was needed. The last lady started yelling at me and talking over me. She then put me on hold for 1hr30 minutes to speak to her supervisor which she then just hung up the phone.

I am making sure all of my friends and family know how horrific our ongoing experience has been. Do not go through PayPal unless you want to suffer consequences. They are terrible and I will never ever use them again. We are also making sure our family and friends are aware of how much of a nightmare working with PayPal has been

Not as described - claim
Case ID: PP-D-*******

This experience is a total failure. PayPal's resolution is that I spend $20 to ship an incorrect item back to Hong Kong for $26 Refund? This vendor has admitted to sending me the wrong item. THE VENDOR SHOULD PROVIDE A RETURN PAID SHIPPING LABEL FOR THEIR ERROR. PayPal wants me to pay for the vendors mistake? This is unacceptable. The vendor has admitted to this error and owns the responsibility to correct it. The Vendor should send me a prepaid shipping label for a return of the item, they sent to me in error. Paypal should issue me a full refund for this "bait and switch" scam job that has been executed by the vendor.

I attach photos of my purchase and pictures of the original folding red stool ordered, and picture of the "switched" black folding stool received.

I love it BUT

I swear by PayPal. I love how accessible everything is, including loading the card with cash, how widely accepted it is, how you can pay with your account, transferring money, direct deposit, e. T. c. THE BIGGEST COMPLAINT I have is that sometimes customer service takes forever and I recently had the system flag my account for fraud because I had a large check deposited. When I went to actually use my card to withdraw or pay for something my card had been declined. When I finally got through to someone (thank you covid) they told me that an internal system flagged my account and put hold on my card. The funny thing was is that I could still use the money. I could transfer it to another account (which at the time I did not have... I do now though!) Or I could send it to walmart and withdraw it (which I did not have my ID to get it) or I could send it to someone else's PayPal account and use it online. It took almost 3 weeks for the hold on the actual card to be lifted and there was NOTHING they could do to help me with it. I was stuck waiting, even trying to send them verification of who I was etc.

I lost my money

I use PayPal for over 10 years and I always recommended
And they always refund ed me but on small purchases
But recently I made a purchase on Ebay for 646 dollar using a PayPal transaction
Accordingly to Ebay history the seller didn't have the item I paid for it so ebay placed my item as an available and they remove the seller the I tried to contact the seller I couldn't because he had already been removed then I tried to filed a refund from paypal they came up with some sort of excuses then I tried to get my money back from ebay they also refused to refund my money so I lost my 646 dollar
And the hardest part of dealing with eBay or paypal is that they don't have employees and they are using some kind of robotic machines.
So sometimes I thing that it was probably a set up scheme by Ebay and PayPal
And I definitely never going to use PayPal again.

Are they part of a scam?

I bought an item from a UK company. The item failed after a few days and they insisted that I send this weighty item to Germany, at my own expense, for review. I had paid by PayPal and opened a dispute, later a claim. Despite the clear problem, PayPal changed the dispute to say that the item received was not as specified. I never said that, PayPal did. Then PayPal said that I had modified the item and I was therefore not entitled to a refund. Where they got that from, I don't know, but certainly not me. They closed the dispute and I was unable to answer this false accusation.
So I opened a second dispute. Again PayPal changed the nature of the dispute, saying that my complaint was because I had never authorised this purchase. I never said this and once again, PayPal closed the claim so I am completely unable to contact PayPal to find out why the nature of the dispute was changed, by them, to something that was untrue and was never said by me.
I have now checked various review sites and aas a result closede my PayPal account. It seems something pretty horrible is going on with them.

A great business scam

I bought some outdoor furniture, it was faulty so I took photos & went to lodge a claim (catch.com.au) with the seller. Funnily enough I wasn't able to as my purchase wasn't finalised on their website (none of my purchases spanning 5 years were), so I lodged a claim through PayPal. PayPal advised me that the seller would refund me after I paid for the return of the goods. PayPal has a system in place that does not allow you to question this practice. They also provided an incorrect return address not once, but twice. I spent two n a half hours on the phone. The first call after I explained the issue put me on hold, then hung up on me. The second call I was on hold for another 45 minutes using their 'one time code'. I realized this identified me and my too hard problem so I rang again, without my identifying code and got though to a human who promptly transferred me. In the meantime I used PayPals online chat service such a great timesaver apparently. On the last phonecall it was made clear to me that the seller can stipulate whatever they like, PayPal will not back you. They offer through a third party to refund shipping costs (up to $45) & so they have absolutely no financial interest in helping buyers. It has taken three weeks for me to get a return address from PayPal via their time saving online msg service, long after the cutoff date for me to respond. I was able to get the address within 2 minutes. The last consultant actually recommended I go to my credit card people for a refund. It is fascinating to come across an organization that has such a disregard for it's clients. Needless to say I will PayPal no more.

Bad practice. Was scammed out of a purchased. Paid for two, received one and Paypal protected the scammer instead. So sad, starting to question if there is such an honest, self-conscious company out there?

Paypal does not protect you from scammers They are no help even when you open a dispute. You still get scammed as they take no notice of emails proof of a scam or complaints.

Don't do business of any kind with this co. PayPal puts your money on hold. They lie and say they will release it. It was money needed to pay bills. Going through HELL already. Now paypal decides to keep my money. Product is already sold.
