Worst customer service in the Western Hemisphere. Their system demands documents that don't exist, "Resolution" simply doesn't work: algorithms that don't cover the gamut of problems. I have PayPal app and I have used PayPal's pay in 4 payments a few times. And today I booked a important flight and decided to use my pay in 4 to book my flight and everything was going great until I realized it was taking longer than usual for me to receive an email confirmation with my itinerary number for my flight, so I go check my checking account online and for some reason PayPal pulled 2 payments instead of 1 from my account and then right after that I get an email saying that my flight was pending because of payment.
Mo ey was sentt to another person with my name. Payment for a side of beef.
PayPal did nothing but told thebuyer to contact them and ask for money back. Of course they never did and I am out $500

WHEN I DID NOT RECEIVE THE ORDER, I CALLED PAY PAY WHO SAID THAT IT WAS A DIRECT PAYMENT 9NOTHING ON PAY PAL TO INDICATE ANYTHING BUT A NORMAL PAY PAL TRANSACTION) AND THAT I SHOULD NOTIFY MY FINANCIAL INSTITUTION. I NOTIFIED THE FINANCIAL INSTITUTION (AS RECEOMMENDED BY PAY PAL REPRESENTATIVE).
NOW, I RECEIVE A NOTICE FROM PAY PAL THAT THEY CANNOT (WILL NOT) INVESTIGATE BECAUSE I DID NOTIFY THE BANK AS THEY SUGGESTED.
SOUNDS LIKE PAY PAL DOES NOT SCREEN MERCHANTS... THEY ARE MORE INTERESTED IN TRANSACTIONS THAT HELING TO PROTECT THE CONSUMER.
EVEN WORSE, TO TELL A CONSUMER TO REPORT TO FINANCIAL INSTITUTION, THEN SAY THAT WILL NOT BE INVOLVED IN THE FINANCIAL INSTITUTION'S INVESTIGAATION IS SALT TO THE WOUND.
RECOMMENDATION: DO NOT RELY ON PAY PAL
Easy to transfer to PayPal, then on to my bank. If I get a gift card, I just spend it without thinking. Always put found money in savings!
Attempted to pay for an eBay item, clicked on paypal & it didn't go through. Paid another way (via direct bank transfer) & it went through immediately. When I checked my back statement, found that PayPal had charged me four times for a transaction that never went through. Tried to contact them to resolve and I deliberately got sent around in circles. PAYPAL are nothing but THIEVES AND ABSOLUTE CROOKS!
I usually get an email reminder and pay on time regularly. My email account was down and I missed my payment date by 3 days. Yep PayPal wacks yo for an insane $40.00 late fee. Find another outlet for online payments. PayPal is insane! Don't use them!
Made 2 purchases because of purchase protection. First item never received and have video proof still paypal denied my case and I am out of few hundred $ second case I received broken and damaged item have proof poor packaged and paypal screwed me over again few hundred $.

I looked at my bank account one day to see I had two charges of 255 dollars identical amounts to paypal and was concerned because I very rarely use paypal. I proceed to login and find a payment sent to a name in Chinese or Japanese characters as well as a bank transfer. I begin to worry and read up on paypal what to do. I end up filing a claim and dispute the charges in return the next day I receive an email from Paypal stating this is consistent with my purchases and transfers previously! I am infuriated with the fact I hardly use paypal have only sent money to people I know and on multiple occasions to the same person. I have never once transferred 500 dollars into my paypal and never once have I sent money to whoever the money was transferred to (I dont know the name because they were some kind of asian characters). I am appealing now but extremely dissatisfied with over 500 dollars being stolen from me and being told "your history is consistent with bank transfers to this user" when I have never sent any money overseas and telling me I had authorized this transaction.
Im now out over 500 dollars scammed without even knowing i was being stolen from by someone they tell me i know and dont even know the first step to figuring out who this is beside some fake email consisting of 10 randomized letters and numbers. Terribly appalled at the blatant disregard to even look into who this person is. I will never use paypal again and i hope no one goes through this for paypal will pretty much tell you to $#*! off. Thanks again for taking my money random person and paypal for letting it slide. Maybe im in the wrong business and should just scam people on paypal.
This was not my first problem with Paypal but it will be my last. I attempted to make a large purchase w/ Paypal but the merchant pulled the money from the wrong acct so the transaction never went through. The merchant cancelled the order immediately and submitted a refund for the full amount to Paypal. I then reordered and used a card to finish the transaction, not using Paypal. 5 days later I see that Paypal is still holding the refund $ but I don't think anything of it bc the original transaction had been cancelled. My mistake. Today I woke up to the entire $3729 "pending" from my bank again, ready to bounce. When I contacted Paypal, they said there was nothing they could do. I spent 2.5 hours on the phone, plus on messenger and email, was told misinformation and out right lies, sent to my bank and to the merchant, told that the refund $ couldn't leave limbo until my bank denied the charge (?) etc. And nothing was resolved. Horrible customer service. Horrible policies. The money they are trying to take from me is sitting in their limbo but they won't use it. I will get at least one overdraft fee from this. Possibly more. Closing my Paypal as soon as this is resolved.
Bought a transmission for my 2013 Nissan Pathfinder for $1650 from a company in Rhode Island that turned out to be faulty. Contacted the seller who doesnt want to hear about it. But I used PayPal so that I would have protection if there was a problem! Or so I thought! After weeks and weeks of responding to ridiculous reasons from Paypal for denying my case I have just been told that it has gone on for too long and case is closed. Never again will PayPal get a cent of my money. Shame on them!
Don't use PayPal, they are scamming people out of they hard earned money by stealing it and claiming you break policy, when you didn't. They will wait till you have large amount then steal your money and limit your account, that you can't transfer to your bank account. Try zelle or stripe instead.
I have never have had such a bad experience before, I went to the ATM to take money out and I was told that there is an issue with my account and to call costumer service when I did I was told that I some how did something that I shouldn't have so they but my account on hold for 180 days and then I would get an email telling me what to do from there but that was over three years ago and when I call to find out what is going on I still get told that I have to wait for an email and when I ask why they did this to my account I am told that they don't know and they can't do anything about it I just have to wait, I have been waiting for over three years now, so I would suggest that u look into any of these apps that u put your money in because now I am hearing that I am not the only person that they have done this to!
Orderef 50 pounds chlorine tablets from Michael Bailey at USAonsale. Seller wouldn't respond to email. Never did receive a tracking number; when I filed a dispute PayPal comes up with tracking number and said item was delivered and closed my case. Number one, it was delivered to an address other than mine! Number two, the package that was shipped and delivered weighed less than 1 lb! How could 50 lb of chlorine weigh less than 1 lb as noted by the US Post Office?!?!
Yet PayPal accepted this as proof that I got the merchandise, even though the post office says that item did not go to my address and did not weigh anywhere near 50 lb!
I've used PayPal for 20 years and used to recommend it to everybody because like I told them, it's better to have your credit card information in one spot than spread around with a hundred different retailers on the internet. Of course this was before Google Pay so take my advice ditch PayPal and start using Google pay like I am! And stay away from USAOnSale! These guys aren't just scammers or crooks, they're wire frauds!

This app is absolutely awful, i sent money and got charged almost 4 extra dollars. I closed my account with them today.
They were more interested in their 'bottom line' than they were in helping me recover from proven scam.
After a month of dealing with them, I decided terminate my Account with Paypal.
The CCard Company was very helpful.
I had a problem with my account being limited and not allowing me to access my funds. When I went to their customer support page it sent me to an agent who just told me he couldn't do anything so now I have funds in that account that I can't access and a permanently limited account. It said it that it's most likely a violation of their privacy policy but I went through it multiple times and have not violated it.
I don't usually write reviews but I have had so much trouble with PayPal lately that I feel compelled to write one now. It started a couple months ago when PayPal started taking double payments out of my account. When I called them to try to straighten it out they argued with me for over 15 minutes telling me that I had authorized double payments! 1) Why would I authorize double payments and 2) If I had authorized double payments why would I call saying I hadn't? Then we bought tickets to a concert through Ticketmaster. Ticketmaster did not get us our tickets (that's another story and another bad review). So since we didn't get what we paid for we contacted PayPal. They sided with Ticketmaster and would not give us our money back. In short just don't use PayPal. And if you have a PayPal account watch it real close for double withdrawals!
I've been a PayPal member since 2001. Never had a problem until recently, when someone sent me some money via PP. I discovered that I couldn't log into my account without a cell phone. Problem is, I don't have one, and I don't want one.
Every other service I use that requests a cell number for security purposes offers some other option, but PayPal refuses to do so.
I use PayPal a lot. I tried to get help from them twice and both times their customer service SUCKED. One dispute was the seller advertised 100% money back guaranteed and PayPal did not help me get a refund. Do not expect PayPal to help you with any customer service issues..

I bought an item that was totally wrong, advertised as "handmade, hand quilted, made of brushed Kona cotton", picture was beautiful with wonderful quilting and vibrant colors and I was buying from a company from Texas. I received an item from Texas, not handmade, not hand quilted, not vibrant colors, not brushed cotton and it was just a picture printed on cheap polyester/nylon fabric. Hideous. I paid $99.90. Company first offered to refund $30, nope, still way too expensive for a cheap quilt that I wouldn't even use for my pets. Then said if I return the "quilt" to China at my expense they would refund the money. Cost to return? $70. Paypal agreed with this company, denied my claim and I'm sitting here with something I would feel cheated if I paid $10. Paypal is not the company it once was. Use your credit card as that company will have your back. Looking to see what a better option is than Paypal. 20 year customer and I'm done. I do not think anyone actually reads our messages to Paypal.

Answer: USPS delievered it to the wrong address my pacakge was supposed to be delievered too 35710 Bay Morgan Ln, Fallbrook, CA 92028 when USPS delivered it to an address simillar to this one 12354 Alcatal Street (do not know the exact address since they did not email me, but you can call USPS and ask, and that is how I found out) Fallbrook, CA 92028, right city and zip code, far away address.
Answer: I'm thinking someone has to work there, if you send messages you will get a canned reply, I get the same response from 10 messages, basically "suck it up buttercup, you have just been played" but if you try to actually talk to a person good luck.

Answer: SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE WITH THAT LOT, THEY CLAIM TO REFUND AMOUNTS PAID FOR ITEMS THAT DO NOT ARRIVE THATS "BS" I HAVE HAD 3 SUCH CLAIMS FROM 14 TRANSACTIONS AND HAVE NEVER GOT A REFUND DESPITE THEIR CLAIMS, THEY ARE CROOKS, FULL STOP, KEEP WELL CLEAR OF THEM.
