I tried confirming my bank through two small deposits since last month (three times!) and i still haven't received any! I make sales through depop and made the mistake of letting people pay through paypal and my payments are now getting canceled. The assistant takes so long and paypal is robbing me of my money! I finally got in contact with someone and they confirmed my bank and now the $90 worth of money they canceled i just cant get back? Why have an option for two small deposits confirmation if you're never going to send it. After hearing my frustration of THEIR NEGLIGENCE their only response was "next time" "next time" WHAT ABOUT MY MONEY I WAS JUST ROBBED OF. They made it seem like my fault. Genuinely horrible, disgusting, frustrating, piece of sh"t app. I would give -10 stars if possible.

Have used PayPal for years for hundreds of online purchases over the years. I decided to sell my laptop on gumtree, had a buyer with half an hour in London. Great I thought, till buyer put the money in my PayPal account, straight away its on hold for 21 days. Now I'm supposed to send my laptop to a stranger who could strip the internals out and replace them with substandard parts (this does happen). Or they could receive it and start a case saying they haven't received it or any old nonsense, they will get their money back while keeping my laptop and I loose out. Plus if I am selling something then I expect to be paid straight away and not in nearly a month's time. I cancelled sale lost £600 and the buyer lost a laptop for her sons birthday. Well done you corporate crooks. They probably earn a fortune on interest while they hold everyone's money. Skulduggery from banks once again. No other banks do this, its only PayPal. Lack of accountability and corporate greed. I'm closing my PayPal account. I will never use this corrupt bank ever again as they do this to hundreds of thousands of customers, imagine the interest they earn out of keeping people's money on hold while the buyer has your belongings for nearly a month while they do anything they want with it.

Stealing money

Received a payment of 4500 they put my money on hold even after the buyer confirmed it. No one can even tell me why. Now they say they will hold it 180 days and they charge fees for holding it. So I might get $100 back after the 180 days with the fees. That's straight stealing! The company is trash and has went way down hill. No wonder eBay went away from them!

Someone was able to get into my account and transfert money. When I gave the information to Paypal, they refuse to give me any refund, even if it was obvious that it was a fraud since the person made 5 identical transactions of $752.20 within 2 minutes. See photo

The only reason why I used PayPal was to be able to keep track of my business expenses. I am so disappointed! I had my credit card as the primary card yet they still charged my bank account card when I went to buy a large purchase. Now I'm $200 short on my rent payment that's due Monday and today is Saturday. And then they say they can't do anything about it, when it's a thousand percent their fault for allowing a company to not use my primary card?! WHAAAAT?

PayPal is extraordinary compared to other trade programming out there for both business and individual use. Their online site and portable application are both simple to utilize, when both paying and mentioning installments. PayPal has been my go-to installment technique for more than 2 years, and I've never had any enormous issues with it. I've generally get installments to my financial balances inside an opportune way, and their client assistance group is useful too.

I clicked on wrong image of my sister (same name) and money was sent to them. I had to resend my sister the same amount in correction. PAYPAL would not see my mistake and this POS women(who I facebooked her many times would not refund my money after requesting through PAYPAL). Black and White mistake credit card would noy correct this mistake. Find another way to send money.

July 14 I filed a complaint with the resolution center of PayPal July 24 refunded my money 24 hours later they permanently limited my account with intent to close my account and hold my substantial balance for up to 180 days

I was unable to change my address in the app and on line. When I put an order in to JCPenney's I put the address that I am now at but PayPal sent it to the one that they had because I was unable to change it. I called several times could never talk to a real person this address that I no longer use is still there now I have a package almost $100 sent to the wrong address and still I'm unable to put my new address in and delete the old one. If I were able to talk to a live person this would've been taken care of along time ago. I do not recommend PayPal anyone that can't actually talk to you does not deserve business!

Paypal took my money!

Paypal has stolen my money. Had an US account to which there was transferred 1000 USD. I could not get the money out and was told that if I closed the account the money would bounce to sender. I did not! The account was closed on the 13th of March 2022. I cannot connect by phone to Paypal US -they will not let you through. What to do? Paypal DK will not help even though I have an active account here. Come on paypal give me my money!

After more than 20 years Paypal decided to crap on me over a $21.00 dispute regarding a pizza order at Lenny's in Ormond Beach, FL. The pizza, ordered just before closing, was dropped to the floor, scooped up and placed in the oven and then put in a box and handed to me. I opened it and when I saw what they did I asked "What the F is this?" All kitchen employees exited the back door just minutes before the hostess handed the box to me. I returned the next day and some jerk in the kitchen took the pizza and threw it in the garbage. Because I used my Paypal card, I disputed the charge. After a month, and Paypal never requesting the store response, denied my claim. Paypal sucks! I withdrew my funds and will never use Paypal again and I strongly advise anyone who may think about using a Paypal card for purchases to use any other card instead. I'm done with those creeps!

I had my bank account linked to a separate account and didn't realize it and reasonably it failed to link to my new account. The error message just said to retry so I tried again across a couple of days just because it said it couldn't process right now (maybe a company problem or servers down). I called support and they deleted and unlinked the account, but because I retried multiple times it banned my new account as well (this phone call took an hour and a half). I lost $10 which is fine but annoying and they deleted my new account and unlinked my bank then told me to wait 48 hours. I received the same error message well after 48 hours and called again. I was transferred to a department who tried to convince me that even though my bank is an option on the website (a very common bank) they didn't actually support it (even though it was there on the website). This took an hour long call. Another half hour call and the agent hung up "randomly" and finally the last call I determined that I will now have to wait 72 hours until I can try again because my bank account is seemingly blacklisted to the point where not even the "specialist" departments can unlock it.

FEW DAYS AGO I RAPORT SCAM. 15 MINUTES AFTER I ORDER FROM BEST BUY I I received a confirmation from not from Best Buy but from private person. I informed PayPal about the Scam i open dispute.
Now the Paypal inform me the case is closed because scamer provide tracking number (provide tracking number on July 16, item was delivery on July 15, item was delivered and left in the mail box! You can fit 15" laptop in 12" mail box!) I checked the trucking number at the post office. Does anyone know that after the parcel has been delivered, the Tracking number only informs that the parcel has been delivered. But it does not give the exact address, only the city where it was delivered. Another think i order laptop. The laptop weighs around 3-5 pound. The parcel that was "delivered to me" weighed 4 ounces. And it didn't deliver it to me just some other address in my city. I have proof from Post office. But PayPal don't f... care. PayPal close the case in favor of scammer. PayPal policy.
You can't reopen again closing case. Mean after PayPal closing the case its over. Never mind that you have evidence that paypal it's wrong
So I just closed my account with M... F... from PayPal.
I don't recommend PayPal.
They don't care for costumers.
If You raport SCAM they should do something. They did. The close the case in favor of scammer.
I hope the PayPal going out of business

I have to say that I've used PayPal now consistently for about 15 months steady receiving gig money anywhere from 10 cents to hundreds and not one time have I had a big problem. I receive payments from some overseas companies and the pay in pounds. The funny part is you see your bal and it says in my currency $5 but by closer inspection it's 1 us dollar and the rest Iin lbs so it has to be converted and no problem or hesitation PayPal converted it to us currency! All this for a fee of 0. Now that's truly awesome! The PayPal for paying it forward in a place that was needed!

We are a small business providing PayPal as a payment option. PayPal randomly decides to sit on your funds because they find something in their T&Cs to do so. You are completely left at will of paypal to get your funds and meet their demands. Something you wouldn't ever have with Apple Pay, Google Pay, Stripe, Square... you name it. They all work well and for us its time to put and end to this and remove it finally as an option!

When I was using this payment provider for my business, they took the right and freeze my account even if my PayPal account was 100% clean with 0 complaints or 0 chargebacks, etc. My hard-earned money was limited and no access to withdrawal. After 180 days when Ive tried to get my money back a message popped up "PayPal's damages caused by Acceptable Use Policy violation" and the entire limited amount was transferred to their account and deleted from mine, the balance was put on $0. Now I'm discussing this shady situation with my lawyer
