Pay Pal - Big Ripoff

I recently purchased a IPTV service for a 2 year subscription. The web site offered a 14 day refund if not satisfied. I went through Pay Pal for my purchase just so I thought would be a little insurance if something went wrong. Will it did and the seller stopped responding to me. So I went through Pay Pal. All I get from them is flimsy excuses on why they won't reimburse me. Not once have they contacted the seller to ask what the problem is. Word to the wise, DO NOT TRUST PAY PAL!

Paypal No Reason for declined credit card!

Hello, I don't know if anyone will really care about this review about PayPal because their already known for declined credit card! My situation isn't any different but PayPal doesn't want to explain why they declined my purchase! So I think that their system doesn't allow the chip on your credit card from other banks which is a security chip for your protection! They will lose another customer!, and they don't even care! That's why I hope people catch on to this and stop using them because they aren't for any existing customers or for new ones! The credit card I used is still working till this day! Stay clear away from PayPal they will ruin your Day!

If I could give 0 stars I would. PayPal fraud protection is a JOKE!. I had Fraud on all my linked PayPal accounts and was only able to get my money back because I contacted the company that all the of the purchases were made to and they refunded me back. I told PayPal about my account being hacked and they told me that it wasn't fraud, it was me making the purchases. So I called them directly and the representative GUARANTEED Me that no one had my account information. This was all being told to me while many purchases were being made. So I removed all my cards from PayPal and will be closing out my account. PayPal is a joke and I highly recommend all people go elsewhere as the service at PayPal is horrible and their rating reflects this.

Criminal theft

These criminals have locked me out of my account so now I can't purchase what I need to run my business!
They say my account cant be verified coz there is no phone number on the account! WELL HELLO, IF THEY TOLD ME ONE HAS TO BE ADDED I WOLD HAVE DONE SO!
So now I am charging them $100 per day for loss of income! SCREW U PAYPAL!

Paypal is awful. They have the worst customer service. They're instant messaging system doesn't ever respond with a real person and their phone number never responds with a real person. Their automated lines don't help you AT ALL. They recently flagged a $12 withdrawal I made to my bank account. I've been trying to get in touch with PayPal to let them know that there is no security issue and that they can process the withdrawal but no response. Why is this even necessary for them to review such an insignificant transaction. It's stuck on pending. This is unacceptable and very disappointing.

Also, on a different note, PayPal site design is unintuitive and makes no sense. I'll read forums and articles online that'll tell me certain issues will be solved by pressing certain buttons that don't even exist.

Stolen funds

Been a customer for ten years. They've seized/stolen 3,666€ from me claiming EU banking regulations. We sent them letters of authority, bank statements, passport ID, EDF proof of address, french company kbis, share distribution etc... SIX TIMES and they still ask again and again for the same info, while keeping the money.
They have now closed the account permanently despite the promise of review on the 22nd and the 30th August. They have kept the money. 3,666€.
They used to be great but now just a bunch of crooks. My lawyer is back from holiday on the 16th and I intend to haul them before a French Tribunal, who are thoroughly sick and tired of this lot. We provided ID six times but they said it had to be registered from a computer. We don't have one of those, we use phones as we cannot afford laptops, and now these guys have not only crashed my business but stolen 3,666€ as well.

Paypal charges 0.4% on each transaction for seller protection. We have one order that was $110 and the customer chose $70 overnight shipping. So the order total was $180. We shipped on time and the customer received the item on time. After receiving the order customer changed their mind and asked us to return the order for a full refund. The items purchased on our sites are non-refundable and non-returnable based on the agreement. The customer returned the package without our authorization and she filed a dispute with their bank. We didn't mind refunding her $110 for returned item but we had to pay $70 for FedEx overnight shipping which we would lose by refunding the whole order. Paypal charged us bank charge back and did NOT honor the seller protection for which we paid for all the time.

I'm liaising with PAYPAL but they keeps telling me it's not their fault for a fraud transaction without my permission.

PayPal knows that some accounts are fraudulent but they fail to warn their users. And they allow their users to transfer all their PayPal money to PayPal fraudulent accounts without double-checking with their users. PayPal fails their security system and fails to protect their clients.

I have used PayPal for so many years and trusted them fully but this makes me think that they are deliberately allowing fraudulent users to have PayPal and steal money with fraudulent transfers by hacking accounts. So be aware of PayPal and don't connect it to any cards or leave money in PayPal account. They will tell you that the fake account has been reported many times to their Security Department but they can't return your money... BIG DISAPPOINTMENT.

What a scam

Paypal has horrible customer service and they stole my money from me calling it Fees! I refunded my client and paypal still charged me the same fee! They will not cancel the refund so now Im out of money for nothing and my client has to wait days for her refund! I cant wait to close my account!

Many of my business partners have requested to be paid in PayPal, but it never works.

I have a PayPal account for probably 10 years, but every time anyone has sent me money on PayPal, I'm not able to withdrawl it from my account! For example, one time I logged-in and it said

"Sorry, we can't log you in. If you think there's a problem with your account, contact us and we'll help resolve it."

I wanted to contact them, but it said I needed to log-in to contact support. So I couldn't contact them. And I couldn't get the money that was sent to me.

Eventually, the money that was sent to my account was sent-back to the sender automatically. This happens every time someone sends me money on PayPal.

The last time I signed-up for a new PayPal account, it sent me an email to confirm my email address immediately after signup. I clicked the link, and it asked me to login again (I confirmed the domain and TLS was correct). After login, it said

"After a review, we've decided to permanently limit your account due to potential risk. You'll not be able to conduct any further business using PayPal."

I clicked "See Details" and it said

"You can't use PayPal anymore
At PayPal, we value a safe community for our customers to do business. We noticed activity in your account that's inconsistent with our User Agreement and we no longer offer you PayPal services."

This was a brand-new account. There's no possible way I violated their ToS as all I did was signup and confirm my email address.

If I had to guess: PayPal has setup some very poor automated "security" protections that false-positive every time I attempt to use my accounts.

In the end, that makes their services unusable. I don't want someone to send me funds that I cannot access. It defeats the whole purpose of having the account.

Avoid PayPal if you want to have access to your funds.

I tried confirming my bank through two small deposits since last month (three times!) and i still haven't received any! I make sales through depop and made the mistake of letting people pay through paypal and my payments are now getting canceled. The assistant takes so long and paypal is robbing me of my money! I finally got in contact with someone and they confirmed my bank and now the $90 worth of money they canceled i just cant get back? Why have an option for two small deposits confirmation if you're never going to send it. After hearing my frustration of THEIR NEGLIGENCE their only response was "next time" "next time" WHAT ABOUT MY MONEY I WAS JUST ROBBED OF. They made it seem like my fault. Genuinely horrible, disgusting, frustrating, piece of sh"t app. I would give -10 stars if possible.
