For several days I have been trying to get resolution for a patio table that just 'went missing'. Literally this is what my shipping says: "SHIPMENT RECORDED BUT CANNOT BE FOUND. ATTEMPTING TO LOCATE"

If you want to actually receive your furniture, better shop somewhere else. Support has been very unhelpful, they told me my options are wait to see if the table turns up, or purchase a new one. But if I purchase a new one, I am responsible for the return shipping fees IF the other table does miraculously turn up somewhere in this world. Wow. Terrible.

Be wary of online orders
August 22, 2023

Be wary when ordering from them. If you need to return anything, they charge a 30% restocking fee + shipping, which can add up to almost the full price of the item itself. If you have a choice, buy from Amazon instead and save yourself the headache.

Poor customer service
August 14, 2023

I bought a set of these Woodard Tucson Wrought Iron High Back Coil Spring Chairs online from PatioLiving in May 2017 because of their reputation for durability and craftsmanship. They came with a fifteen year guarantee, but I didn't think I'd ever need it because the chairs were on a covered patio and only lightly used. However, last week as I leaned back I felt a strange "pop". One of the welds at the top corner of the chair had broken. I called PL's customer service line on 8/8/23 and was later contacted by the claims team and told told to send photos of the damage. On 8/10/23 I received a follow-up email from the claims team stating that the vendor would replace the frame "on a no charge basis under warranty", but in order to get my replacement chair I needed to send a check or money order for $260.21 to the vendor to cover shipping. Oh, and if I don't send them a check for the amount in 30 days the claim will be closed out. That's some lousy warranty and even worse customer service! To be clear, I can understand the vendor wanting to re-coop the shipping cost(although this amount seems outrageous), but they are asking me to pay $260.21 because of their workmanship/quality control failure. I bought the chair once, I shouldn't have to buy it again. I would recommend not buying from PatioLiving.

I placed an order with PatioLiving for 4 pool chases in April and at the time of order the estimated ship time was 5-8weeks. They charged my Credit Card for the full amount immediately.

When I reached out to them in June they told me there was a delay and I'll receive the order in July.
From that point they would email me updates every few weeks pushing out the delivery date again and again and again and again (you get the picture).

At this point I may receive them in September. I live in WA state and our summers are short, so this is quite devastating.
In July I reached out to them by phone and email asking for some kind of refund to make up for us not getting to enjoy the pool chases this summer due to extreme delays. While they responded that they will forward the information to the management, no actual action has been done to rectify the situation.

So yeah, don't believe the shipping dates listed on their website if you really need your item by a certain time.

We purchased a table and were given a shipping date. The company didn't even come close to living up to that timeline and when we called (numerous times) to complain, they just referred us to the shipper. Eventually (2 MONTHS!) we received the table. It was severely damaged in the shipping - a corner was so badly dented, the leg on that corner could not be attached. We immediately (day after delivery) filed a return claim - they made us go through several days of picture taking and back and forth before agreeing to have the shipper return for the damaged goods. THEY REFUSE TO REFUND our money until the table arrives back at their warehouse and is reviewed in person despite ample photographic evidence. We are now STILL waiting for the shipper to pick up the damaged table and out nearly $1000 in the mean time. AVOID PATIO LIVING at all cost, regardless of how good you think the pricing maybe, and I would also avoid AGS shipping.

Horrible mercenary company with which to deal
June 17, 2023

Patio Living (PL) insisted on charging for OW Lee samples, that are supplied at no charge.

PL refused to apply the cost of the samples to a follow-on order.

When I could not get shipping information, I called another vendor and was informed that samples are at no charge from the manufacturer.

I still didn't have shipping information, so I put in a cancellation. It was refused. I was told the samples had shipped and the info from USPS, that was contradictory, was inaccurate.

Do your research, I KNOW you can find a better resource than these people.

Looks amazing
June 15, 2023

We got the patio done in September 2022 for our sons wedding. We weren't disappointed at all. Jeremy who built it is a top bloke and did an awesome job and the feed back from our friends has been nothing short of how it finishes off our back garden. Totally recommend Patio Living if you're wanting to expand your entertainment area.

False claim on website - At PatioLiving, we understand that the purchase of home furnishings represents a significant investment of both time and resources and so strive to ensure a worry-free shopping experience for all customers.

FALSE - I'm 40 days in process without resolution

All returns and exchanges are subject to applicable return shipping fees. Orders over $1,000 are subject to a 15% restocking fee;

False claim on website - I had an order for $996 and they want to charge me restocking and return fee of $500

4/19 - I ordered 4 Treasure Garden Aluminum umbrellas, spent $1,000, to get quality umbrellas, did not expect poor customer service
5/1 – umbrellas arrived, 11 days later, color did not look anything like sample on website, so wanted to return
5/3 – Called Customer Service, not very helpful on what specific Returns process is or specific dates
5/5 – Emailed customer service – "waiting on returns authorization from vendor" - Patio living has No ownership of what they sold or the customer service, they are at the mercy of their vendor policies
5/8 – Emailed Customer service – No response
5/16 – Emailed customer service – Still waiting on vendor authorization. No proactive follow up on the problem or resolution from Patio living at all… you're on your own. Furthermore, that did not stop numerous emails from Patio Living asking me how my experience was, at least 6 emails' so far
5/25 – still no follow up from Patio Living 35 days into the process the sun is beating down
5/30 - patio livings want $500 in fees to return $1,000 worth of goods - don't want returns tactic to discourage returns. Don't order from patio living to avoid this returns nightmare

I purchased my Woodard patio furniture from Patio Living almost a year ago... It took months for the furniture to arrive and when it did the wrought iron dining table came with only two legs (not the four legs needed)... Months later and I still do not have four legs. PatioLiving just keeps blaming their vendor and does not care about customer satisfaction. I would never order from them again.

I ordered 4 chairs the first week of August 2021. Original ship date on website said 16-20 weeks. It is now July 2022 and I have still not gotten my product. They used to send automatic email updates on pushing the delivery date, but they do not even send those anymore. I have to manually check myself. A year to manufacture 4 chairs? I can order a new car faster than these chairs! Where is my product? Is it time to file a BBB report? Small claims court?

The title says it all. They charged my card the full amount 68 weeks ago, in March 2021 The table would be delivered in six weeks. No, then it's August 2021. No, manufacturer was experiencing delays, now it's (gulp) March 2022. Called customer service, got a polite runaround. Decided to wait. March 2022 comes and goes, called customer service again, now it's June 15 2022. That dates arrives, and suddenly my account says "Pending shipping update from manufacturer, please check back soon." Called customer service, emailed. Manufacturer is experiencing delays, new ship date is July 8 2022 (today, the day I'm writing this review). Once more, the message arrives, "Pending shipping update from manufacturer, please check back soon." The company is selling products they can't deliver. Finally, I ask for a refund. No answer.

Their 'conditional' return policy means they will accept returns at their discretion.

Translation: They will find every excuse to avoid accepting a return and issuing a refund.

Please don't make the same mistake that we did. Item arrived deformed, no refund.

I used this company after seeing them recommended by Wirecutter and couldn't be more disappointed. Our umbrella was supposed to arrive a week ago, was in my city in Texas, and then somehow mysteriously was shipped back to California with only the cover being delivered to us. I have sent messages, used the online chat, and called customer service. Every time I'm told they'll look into why package went missing and that I'll receive an update shortly, but they never follow up. I've also asked for a replacement to be shipped since we're now way past what they promised as "quick ship" (the whole reason we made the selection we did) and they refuse. I wish I had ordered umbrella on Amazon. I prefer to support smaller businesses usually, but that was a huge mistake in this case.

I cancelled order after waiting 8 months
May 2, 2022

I would never order from them again. I ordered 2 chairs August 31 2021 (approx $643) and was told 14-16 weeks. Long but I took it figuring places had supply chain issues. By April they had already pushed my "possible" ship date a 4th time. Each month the same thing. Last they told me it was supposed to be shipped in mid-May. I had also checked in with them by email and call and was always given the same story—"it's the vendor." I didn't give them the chance to push it again. I contacted my credit card company to dispute the charge for goods that were charged in full over 8 months prior but that had never shipped. This got the ball rolling with Patio Living and I told them I wanted a full refund (to my credit card—no restocking fee since I've never received anything). I got my full amount back within a couple weeks of the credit card company contacting them. They had to send me a check since I used Apple Pay.

I ordered an outdoor table and outdoor chairs in July 2021. I received 9 email changing my delivery of the items I paid for further into the future. I was trying to be patient and wait for the items to arrive. However, in Feb, 2022 (7 months since I ordered the items) I needed to ensure I'd have the furniture for an upcoming event I was hosting. I cancelled my order and asked for a refund. This company has the audacity to charge me a restocking and shipping fee. We all know a restocking fee is just a way to steal money from customers. I doubt anything was even on its way to me at this point given the history but it was only half of my order so it was still unusable to me. I want a full refund since I did not get one single item I order but am being charged hundreds of dollars.
