Poor customer service
October 18, 2021

Placed order in April (they set expectation of 14-16 weeks) zero update until I proactively reached out inquiring bc it was past 16 weeks - then delivery magically appeared a week later. My other order placed in May have not seen or had any response from company. Lesson learned - must be squeeky wheel to get grease with this company. I ordered local to support local but clearly not worth the squeeze - their orders come from China regardless of ordering local.

We ordered a table 8 months ago and it has been pushed back multiple times. We finally found a table that would be an acceptable replacement and they won't switch it out for us because of the price difference. Customer support kept us on for an hour only to tell us that we would have to pay the difference for both tables. After 8 months of wait this is unacceptable. It is 700$ that has been out of our bank account. A lot we could have done with that money and now we don't even have a table and not even sure how hard it will be to get our money back at this point. Very disappointing company and experience. Do not buy from here.

Horrible customer service!
September 13, 2021

We have been getting the run around for months regarding the delivery status of our order. We are tired of being lied to. They won't let us cancel without deducting a restocking charge - on an order that hadn't even been fulfilled! They have our money (thousands of dollars!) and we don't have our furniture. We never get to actually speak to anyone who knows what's going on. We are filling a complaint with the BBB and considering legal action.

Very poor delivery times.
September 10, 2021

Ordered and billed $6000. 00 in May, Patio set still not delivered September 10,2021! I don't think you want to do business with Patio Living, really completely unacceptable delivery times. The phone people are very nice, however business operations suck. Unacceptable billing and unacceptable delivery times.

This Treasure Garden umbrella is a fine product but only if you get the one treated with O'Bravia 2. I purchased a red umbrella and since the ship time was 4 weeks I decided to buy the same item on Amazon with the idea of keeping both. The one from Amazon came in a week and has been treated with Obravia 2. The material was clearly treated and had a stiffness to it that I assume was the OBravia 2 coating. When the item was delivered from Treasure Garden I noticed that the material felt like new material without any coating. You could clearly see the sun thru the material unlike the Amazon one. When I read the PatioLiving umbrella label, it indicated O'bravia and NOT O'bravia 2. In fact there did't seem to be any treatment on the material at all. Also the ties on the Treasure Garden version were much shorter and impossible to do a bow-tie. The Amazon Treasure Garden umbrella was the same price. I contacted PatioLiving about this and so far after 3+ weeks they have not offered me a full refund or a replacement with O'Bravia 2. I am very disappointed in this purchase because they made it vary hard to determine the exact level of Obravia that was used and if I hadn't purchase the same item on Amazon it would not have been so clear that I received a substandard product from PatioLiving.

The first photo is the one from Amazon and the 2nd is the one from PatioLiving.

Horrible Sunbrella Material
June 4, 2021

We purchased two chaise lounge cushions spending over $1,200.00. The "Sunbrella" material is turning orange and is falling apart. The company is not standing by their products and in hindsight I should have "listened" to the other reviewers negative experience.

Due to Covid the cushions have only been outside one season for approximately five months.

It is so disappointing to have this company not back their products. Their excuse is the vendor only provides a one year warranty for a fabric that is supposed to last ten years. We purchased just a little over a year ago. Horrible business practices.

My husband and I tried numerous times to place an order using PayPal in January. The order did not appear to go through and we didn't get an order confirmation. Finally he got one. This happened with another order in October and I didn't get charged for those transactions, only the order confirmed and delivered. We just found out ALL of the transactions went through, yet we only got one confirmation. So 4 separate non existent transactions were paid by PayPal. Be very very careful with this company, especially if you are using PayPal for online transactions. PayPal is not consumer friendly, so I am also disputing with Discover. Glad we caught it before time elapsed.

List products as in stock that they cannot provide. Fully aware that supply chains have been disrupted by the global pandemic. However, a responsible seller would not make it appear they had items in stock they cannot ship for 6 months. That is not ethical. They then went on to blame their suppliers. I suggest you avoid this business its all costs. If you don't have items to sell, you don't take people money. It is that simple.

Stay away!
November 21, 2020

Wouldn't answer my questions. I would call and they would let me ask my question and then hang up! And then wasted my time by putting me on char and when I called again they would hang up. I just wanted to understand delivery... horrible customer service...

I purchased six items from Patio Living. Two were chaise lounges that were dropped off on a pallet on my driveway and the driver said that was all he was required to do. At no time did the product description say anything about assembly and a sales person named Phil at Patio Living specifically said that none was required. Well, he was wrong and transferred me to a customer service bot when I brought that to his attention. The chairs need assembly and didn't even include instruction. The other four items are still not here after ordering them about a month ago. I can't wait to see what condition they arrive in. Find a better option!

A manager at Patio Living just told me there is nothing she can do to get us our order which was placed and paid for 10 weeks ago, and which was promised to arrive within four weeks. She said because of factory issues, she could not provide any information about if and when the order would ship. She also said there was no way she could check with the factory to confirm a date, We have missed the outdoor season entirely waiting for our shipment. The manager offered no apology. We have cancelled our order.

They fail to provide updates after missing a shipment date commitment. This after a 10 weeks lead time. They "ghost" you especially if you were made to pay in advance.

September 29, 2020

Can't think of a another company that makes it harder to do business with them. After 4 MONTHS (not a typo) I still don't have replacement cushions. Quick to process payment. ZERO customer service! 1st blamed manufacturer (?) then the shipping company... They take no responsibility and is impossible to get a live person to talk to! RUN!

PATIOLIVING.COM does not allow people to write reviews on purchased items. I purchased OW Lee Luna dining set, reached out to PL for delivery update, NO RESPONSE. Then when I got the set supposedly is American wrought iron but had stamped Chinese lettering - contacted company and they replaced one chair no cushions, i said ok. Noticed later 2 more chairs had this. Whatever. Then after using, noticed that the chair arms rub under table and scrape off finish. My guests are constantly ruining this set just from normal use.
Avoid this set, avoid Patio Living.

DO NOT ORDER from this company. I have been trying to contact someone for 3 months regarding an incorrect order delivery. I immediately canceled an order and STILL have not received my $3,000 refund. They then charged me AGAIN and still delivered the incorrect furniture. I have spent hours of my life trying to discuss with this company with every time being told this will immediately get resolved and I will be contacted within 1-2 days. This has NEVER happened. Save your money and frustration. This company still owes me over $3,000 and has never delivered my correct order.

We purchased a very expensive and heavy-duty umbrella ($1800... not cheap) from PatioLiving after a friend recommended their products. We were thrilled when we were able to customize our own umbrella for our rooftop but extremely disappointed when within weeks, one of the umbrella arms that supports the umbrella canopy snapped. We had not experienced heavy wind or any weather-related issues. We contacted PatioLiving and they offered a replacement but never offered to have a service help us haul this extremely heavy replacement up 4 flights of stairs. My husband had to obtain help to physically lift the umbrella and also carry the old one downstairs and dispose of it. Such an inconvenience considering the price point. Then, the new umbrella was used 3x before a bolt fell out of main arm center at the top and our umbrella literally fell apart while hosting family, posing a safety risk to our infant. We reached out for a replacement bolt and 10 days later, we have nothing. We asked for the measurements so we could get a replacement at HomeDepot and have yet to get any details. Summer is basically over and we have not been able to use this umbrella. HUGE disappointment.

Check before you order when they will ship. I ordered 7/22; it won't ship until 8/28! At first glance I missed the "8" and thought it shipped the next week. My mistake.
