The re-placement power jack I ordered was the correct jack, but after dissasembling the laptop I found that the connect cable was only about 1.5" the one in the unit was about 4" long so it wouldnt work. Sent an e-mail to that effect but no reply.

I needed a couple of parts for a 4 year old Dell Precision notebook. Parts-people had the right parts in stock and shipped them out promptly. Tracking information was sent so I could see where it was. A great overall experience. I will use them again.

As perfect an experience as it possibly can be. I need a replacement part for my dell XPS and I was able to find it on their site at a very reasonable price.
