For our Winnebago the build sheet says Champaign with a color code, but the color code was for Beige on PaintScratch. PaintScratch advised to order by the color code.
To play it safe I ordered a paint pen using the color code and it was nearly a perfect match.
So I ordered the same color code in the spray can, along with the other items in the non-metal kit.
I followed the instructions to the letter but when the color base coat went on it is only slightly darker than a white. It is way lighter than the actual paint. Not sure if the mix was bad, but was disappointing.
I've ordered another beige can as well as one of the slightly darker Champaign. Not sure if it was a bad mix on the first can, if Winnebago messed up with the color code on the build sheet, or what's up.
If neither of the new cans get closer to a match then I'll be blending my own paint to match. It will be cheaper than trying to go back and forth paying shipping and waiting for the paint to arrive.
The adhesion and primer sprays were perfect. Just the base coat color was a big disappointment.
And since they don't have "paint chips" for that color there is no color match warranty, so you pays your $$$ and takes your chances. Something to keep in mind.
Even with trying to minimize the chance of a poor match by testing with a paint pen for the color code I still had a less than great experience with the base coat color spray.
The paint didn't match and I don't want to try again. I didn't send the VIN number because I got the paint code off the door and thought that's all I needed. I will have to get it repainted at a body shop.
It's a 2008 Newmar so the clear coat is a mess. Thought I would give it a shot to clean it up a bit. Touched up areas are a bit lighter as the old clear coat is browned with age. But an improvement!
Will continue to other spots..
No complaints. Hopefully, the paint matches. But a quick looks seems to be satisfactory, so I'm hopeful.
The Ken arrived with some paint under the clear cap, and the spray nozzle was not attached to the Ken. Not sure if it's supposed to be this way, but I'll find out in a few days when I use it. Thanks.
I'm a repeat customer. My first order was shipped promptly, and the paint matched the car absolutely perfectly.
As expected & in great timing / delivered excellent service
Instructions very easy to follow. The paint tube would not stay in place and paint dripped out all over the vehicle. Thank you.
I bought primer, basecoat, and clear in spray cans and also the touch up bottles. The spray cans are awesome - they really lay the paint down nice and thick (for a spray can). Just watch out for drops, as the nozzle sprays so wide it can build up on the lip of the can, and can drop down. So, just wipe the can and nozzle every now and again and you're good to go. The primer, basecoat, and clear themselves are very good. Highly recommended. I'll be using paintscratch for all my auto paint needs.
Looked everywhere for paint reference used by Alfa Romeo from 1960 to 1979 and PaintScratch was the only place that still had it. From there, the shopping experience was effortless, and the paint was a perfect match.
The touch-up paint perfectly matched the Porsche metallic factory color--no small feat. And the applicator was very easy to use, mess-free, and ideal for even the finest scratches. I intend to order a kit for each of my other cars as well.
The experience was basically seamless except the color I needed was not listed under the vehicle options. Once I searched the website data base though, the paint code came up with a slightly different name.
The auto body shop applied the paint and it looked very noticeably different in color.
The experience was basically seemless except the color I needed was not listed under the vehicle options. Once I searced the website data base though, it did come up.
The products shipped quickly and is a good color match.
A smooth and pleasant experience. All my needs were addressed, and the products were top notch!
I am one of the few who keeps whatever year of car I have looking brand new, but I mess up sometimes as a driver. I appreciate this company giving me the ability to repair damaged body work and make it look like it never happened. My Ford Fusion's paint was a perfect match and looks factory fresh. Thank you again!
I have some hail dents on my car hood that were starting to rust. PaintScratch made it extremely easy to find the repair tools and paint color I needed, in the size that made sense for my minor repair.
I got this to touch up the back of a navigator. The color matches perfect. Tuxedo black.
Terrible service. Just horrible

Still no product.
Never this company again.

The paint pen worked great for a couple minutes then the brush started clogging up. There's lots of paint left but the brush is garbage.
