Five pair of earrings... all from different addresses. Florida, Pennsylvania, etc. with home addresses. One from a city I myself lived in. Address had an apartment number. Was told when I had to return the earrings that they 'all came from different warehouses'. NOT SO. Individual people use Overstock to sell their flea market or were buy outs through Overstock. Was also told that all returned items were not sold again. Also not true. One pair of the earrings came with one in a small plastic bag the other was just laying in the box the not closed (lever back). They are selling back refused or used earrings. And what else?

I have bought multiple items from this site and lo and behold each time has been nauseating. If the parcel doesn't come 1-2 weeks late then it will come with some defect. And when you try to return it they will give you half value of what you paid. Customer service is useless. Wished they would get their act together because this could really be a great site with great prices. But I would rather spend more money getting better service.

I ordered a King size 11" mattress priced around $450 and received a package about 5 days after I ordered it. Looking at the package I thought to myself "wow, no way this is my mattress, it is so small". Low and behold, I was right and the mattress was actually an 8" Queen size. Called support the same day and was told I would be getting my actual mattress the Friday of the same week (4 days). I was then called by support that Wednesday about my problem and was told the mattress would be shipped after they got my info. The shipping was then pushed to the next Monday. I was offered no free overnight shipping or any other reimbursement for their mistake, and I have been sleeping on an air mattress since last Thursday because of their screw up and I still have not gotten my mattress. Terrible communication, terrible corporate&shipping management, just overall terrible. Very dissatisfied.

The product, Lactic Acid 50% peel for professional use only. Used this and woke up to burned and scared face. I broke out and had swollen eyes and nose, horrible.
Told them I would contact lawyer. Their lawyer contacted me, and tryed to offer me 250. Gift card with a form to sign saying I will never speak of it again.
Said NO, tried to contact CFO, the "we care" person and my mail was returned.
What if a child put this on her face? No warnings, no child lock, nothing because it is for professional use only.
Please be careful. Overstock DOES NOT CARE!

I ordered a light beige desk chair. Received a coffee brown chair. Talked to customer service and got a Return Material Authorization. UPS picked it up and I waited several days for it to be delivered back to overstock before they would send another. Received second chair. It was also coffee brown. Called overstock and they gave me another RMA for UPS to pick up. Assured me that they would talk to warehouse and get problem resolved. Second chair was returned and third chair was sent. Coffee brown for the third time. Requested another RMA and a refund. Ordered the same chair from Houzz for $8 less.

Read the fine print, buried in the return policy: If you use one of those 15-20% off email offers that you are bombarded with from Overstock.com, then return the item for a refund, THEY DEDUCT THE 15-20% "OFF" FROM THE AMOUNT OF THE REFUND. So you buy at one price, then they make you pay the full price if you return the item. Who does THAT? Customer service is laughably poor--I talked to a kid who read from a script. I have blocked their merciless flow of emails and they are off my list. Never again. I would rather pay more and be treated fairly. There are some great vendors out there who go out of their way to try to keep your business (not just keep your money).
