1) search facility is very limited
2) Upload of photos leave a lot to be desired
3) I realize that it all depends on new people joining but it's the same every day
4) nobody replies except scammers, are the other profiles very old or are they current members

All in all, this site is not good (as most others)

I conclude at least for me, dating sites are not worth the effort. I suppose if you have chiseled model like looks, you may get a reply but then you wouldn't need to join a dating site

Many fake profiles, and the ones that are not rarely respond. Why? Ourtime try to rope you in with extra expenses like they can make your profile more visible if you pay them extra, which I'm sure is illegal because they dont tell you this feature BEFORE you sign up. Total waste of time.

I subscribed to our time 10 years ago and never met a man on there, a few sent short messages saying hello and that was it. I thought maybe it would be improved by now, But this time was actually worse! I feel like I'm an attractive woman for my age and not one man sent me a message

So…I have a question for anyone who has been on this site. Do you see this same things I am? SO many of the profiles have the same written content. How do they see what someone else has written? I can't view what other women are looking for (since I am not looking for other women!) Also, could just be me, but so many conversations get going over a period of time, interest seems to heighten, then they go silent.? This isn't just one person…this is many…and after they proclaim I am "one in a million".? Is this site just pushing interest and pretending to be actually subscribers? Or are these scammers? Either way, it doesn't inspire confidence. Lastly, they say they are trying to protect me from the imposters…but so many profiles are clearly not reviewed. What's odd about that is, they didn't allow a photo upload on my profile with me and my granddaughter citing it was outside their "photo acceptance protocol". Seriously? Have you SEEN some of the photos people are allowed to post? Bare chested and in bed? While me and my granddaughter at the mall is not acceptable? I wonder…who is at the wheel here…and who is actually behind some of the profile posted…? Not so sure.

Who the hell wants to drive 100 miles to maybe meet someone and then do it repeatedly in fact I won't drive more than 60 miles(1 hour) plus who wants to meet someone on the other side of the US or even in the next State. I sure as hell don't!
You're owned by Match.com why don't you do it the way they do? I'm cancelling my auto renew because of the mileage thing most of the women are in Tucson which is 103 miles away.

I'm not so sure it's the sight. People see. To just suck. I thought that age would mean maturity in depth. What it is was a bunch of old mean, covered in facial hair and attitude demanding pictures, poor conversational skills and no desire to know someone before getting it on. Creepy. Huge waste of time.

I have contacted over 20 profiles, I find it really strange that out of 20 only 2 have responded. Some of these it's been over a month and not a word from anyone yet. I called OurTime to see why, and of course they do a song and dance trying to tell me that not all profiles are online all the time. But I was told that I should just go with the men that have contacted me and move on. This isn't what I paid for! I should be able to contact any profile to get a response. I even paid extra to be notified when one person was on line and I received a notice that he was. But when I checked he wasn't. So I'm wondering if its a real person or not? What can a person do, dummy profiles are not what I paid for.

I signed up for one month and most of the men who responded turned out not be who they said they were. After three frustrating weeks I decided to hide my profile to take a break from the "fake" men. When I went back for the final five days of my subscription I could not get in. Customer service said they saw unusual activity so restricted it. How could there be unusual activity when I was off the site for over a week? Does that mean someone was using my account? I would at least like to to get in and delete my photos so they aren't used and get reimbursed for the week. This site is a SCAM. Unbelievable.

OurTime is a credit card scamming company posing as a dating service. "Customer Service" should properly be named "Customer Disservice" or "The Hall of Mirrors".

But continued to SPAM me with daily emails that I had several "matches" and people interested in me. After a few months of getting those emails, I decided to sign on again and pay so that I could see who "liked" me, but the system would not accept my credit card. I tried several times, same thing. I called my credit card and they said no attempts had been made. I called/emailed OurTime & was finally told by an agent that I had been banned from the site forever, that is why the system would not accept my payment! Then he said I could never, never, never, sign on again! No reasons given, except the date my account was locked was the date I had complained. However all the following months THEY WERE SPAMMING ME WITH EMAILS... so all those guys who had "liked" me had wasted their time, and they were being fooled as well... the website was continuing to promote me/my picture etc, while banning me from the site! SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO unethical. Spams are unethical too... they should be shut down by the FTC for using various trickeries.

Fake profiles, poor profiles, however many are good for a chuckle if nothing else. I did get a date and it did turn into a short relationship. But that doesn't seem to be the norm.

I've never encountered such terrible matches on any site. My real complaint is that I specifically asked to NOT be on an auto-renew for my membership. I even canceled it before it could be renewed. Sure enough, they billed me for another $71.88! Of course, it also took 14 days to get returned to my checking account, this causing me to Have an ODC. I made them aware of this over 2 weeks earlier when they charged me without my permission. I have the $71.88 but have not been given back the $34. ODC although I sent them a copy of it from my bank, showing that their actions caused it. What a terrible situation and headache to go through. DO not do business with them!

I paid for this service and half the time it doesn't work. There are MANY scammers and they need ore fields to narrow a search. Most they recommend are nothing like what I am looking for. Many live very far away. It is a diversion and not a good dating site.

I couldn't be less impressed with customer service at OurTime. I just got off the phone with Julio, who refused to transfer me to someone who could better assist me, he refused to give me even the first initial of his last name, and he refused to tell me when I might expect to hear back from the company regarding my issue. He was unhelpful, sarcastic, and impatient. While I've tried numerous dating sites to check them out and to see which one might be best for me, OurTime is, hands down, the worst of them all. I wish I'd never signed up. What a regret.
