I joined last night and today I cancelled my one month membership and got my money back... They tried to tell me that the reason I can't connect to their site at times is because of my service provider-Spectrum. I told them they were scamming the public because I had tried other sites and I have no problem connecting anytime of the day from my desktop computer at home. He told me I could go to a local coffee shop and connect to their WiFi-what a joke! The agent I talked with said I will prove to you that its not our sites fault by doing a test with my cell phone. I declined the test and told him he was nuts for wanting to "Prove" it wasn't their fault. Sounds like a scam to me to get customer money.

Have tried a couple sites and ourtime is absolutely the worst. Can't block people, had preferences but sent me people completely opposite to my preferences.

The mobile site is terrible and the online site is not much better. Once you enroll with your credit card all other options have a price tag. Today my profile somehow got mixed up with another profile of a lady with the same name, age, city however, she is caucasian and I am african american so I was getting all her messages. Once I logged out and tried to log back in my account "could not be found". I had to reset my password and then my profile pictures were all gone. In order to delete my account I have to forfeit the next 2 months of membership that I paid for. This is the worst site and company for over 50 dating.

I'm a 78 year old male, adequate looking. I've been on about a month and have had 4 coffee dates. You can separate out the scammers and fakes pretty easily if their picture looks like a Hollywood model and also if they are from out of state. For the men, shave off those darn beards and mustaches and present yourself in words (honest words) that would be appealing to a woman.

The app itself was a little hard to use. However, I met my soulmate and we just passed our 1 year anniversary. We are now engaged and look forward to spending the rest of our lives together. Without the Ourtime dating site our paths would never had crossed.

Yes, the usual suspects of a scamming site: Fake profiles, ghost profiles, "views" (so what?) from people absolutely miles away from your designated distance parameters. Every woman seemed to have a Masters Degree in somthing but hey looked like they may well be a university cleaner, not a post-graduate! They all seem to like the bloody theatre, do me a favour! I recognised some faces from another site ( actually worse than this one can you believe!) from about five years' ago; do you really think they'd still be members? No, neither do I. Avoid and accept that 'you've been had' and delete it from you computer and wish it good riddance!

I saw an advert for our time and it said FREE DATING SITE FOR OVER 50s.

It's like Prostitution having to pay to chat to women who are obviously lonely too but fo they have to pay or are they the Honey to the Bees so to speak.

I paid for 3months of service and for a week I have tried to log into the site to view my matches, but nothing happens.
To proceed, a screen appears asking you to verify your identity. When the blue button is clicked, nothing happens, so it is impossible to log on.
I have sent 2 emails telling them of the problem and asking for a refund, but have received no reply. Avoid this site at all costs!

After several months i needed a verification code to log on. Never asked for it. Don't answer their phone. Wanted it removed and they did nothing, just lip service. Terrible site.

Why fill in your requirements when Ourtime take no notice and send people from miles and away too far for a relationship. When you reject someone why then send the persons details again and again sometimes the same person is in the list 4 times just to make up numbers I suppose. There is no one to contact at Ourtime it is a run yourself website they promise everything and deliver nothing but are quick to take your money and push more bits that cost more of course. All they are interested in is money not the people who use the site and it is pot luck if you find anyone.

OurTime dating: Out of 5 stars: "0000" DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! They fill your feed with people who have already quit the site. Delete this crap and, oh look, the site puts them back into your feed again! Many, many scammers be careful here, keep your wits about you and your wallet safe! They fill your feed you with people what live no where near your location when searching their client base, completely ignoring your preferences. Always chiseling for more money with fees for "Highlighting," your profile or fees for actually allowing someone to see your posts and this after I payed for a full subscription. I would have had the same benefits if I'd utilized a free account.
Copyright infringement: My images were used on Match without my permission! I registered only on OurTime and stipulated that my photos are NOT to be used else where. This was also disregarded and I received spam from Match, chiseling for more money to see who "liked" me. BUNCH OF SCAMMERS! DON'T SUBSCRIBE!

Couldn't find anything of value on Ourtime even after paying for boosts. It's truly shocking how many fake profiles they have. They must be on the decline so they recycle old long inactive accounts. I got bored pretty quickly. There is no use in searching for genuine profiles, you can't find anything like this on OurTime, so the best idea is to stay well clear of it.

I had some matches that see me ed genuine and real and then there were the others whom I will now refer to as s trolls.
I had 5 conversations in a week that I actually thought were going somewhere. The actual first one was actually genuine.
Now for the others. Ok one guy started talking about himself and it was a pretty nice conversation, then it turned into how he wanted to OWN me, ok done. Block that profile. Then there were two that claimed to be foreigners and new to the area, well here's a clue, if you're going to say you live in a rental apartments make sure it's in a place with more than one complex jack $#*!. And the other, well he claimed to live about 300 miles away and wanted our first date to be in some little itty bitty town between the two of us. Well a little research shows this is such an out of the way place the post office and police station share a trailer. No, that's not sketchy at all. Then my absolute favorite after 5 minutes of chatting was telling me where we were going on our honeymoon.
I may hate being alone but I'll be damned if the last thing I check my purse for on the way out the door is a taser, a knife and a gun.
Run ladies just run. Meet a guy the old fashioned way. I've decided that once a week, I'll go to a coffee shop or take my $#*! out to dinner and sit at the bar with my unsweetened tea. The worst part about this is I PAID for this bull$#*!. RUN, DO NOT STOP, RUN

I have been on a few dating sites throughout the years. This is the WORST! I have never seen so many awful men in all my life!

Im an active member of this site who is actively looking for someone to seriously date. Signed up on 2/1/2023. Today is 2/10/2023. I Was given an introductory price of 19.33 - half off the regular price - for a one month membership, which is the only reason I signed up.

Dont waste your time with this site, however. Since im actually out there looking for a match, my strategy is to write messages to any woman whom I find attractive who ALSO fits the bill in her profile description. That said, I have LITERALLY messaged maybe 150 women over the last three weeks, If not more, just seeing who responds and hoping for the best. Some messages are a quick introduction of myself. Some are quite long depending on what they have to say in their profile. Here's some take aways:

1. Ive heard back from only 4 of the 150 women Ive written.
2. Ive gotten only one like the entire three weeks ive been a member. Perhaps im just ugly...?
3. The site claims to give an indicator flag that is visible when someone has read a message. I dont see an icon from anyone, whether they responded or not. Theres no way to tell if anyone is even getting these messages.
4. There's also no way to tell how long someone has been a member or when was the last time they were logged in.
5. SO... All that being said, im beginning to honestly wonder if the vast majority of "profiles" are fake or just plain so old that they're no longer active. There's no way to know if the person you're writing to is even still alive! Either way, the results have been 100 percent disappointing. Enter at your own risk.

The site is inconsistent. Sometimes I could assess it, other times it is down for days at a time. I have written, emailed and called multiple times with no resolution. This time they gave me 7 free days but since I can't get in, I don't know what good that is There are way better dating sites
