I had OtterBox since they came out. When they first came out the warranty said if your phone was damaged in an OtterBox they would replace your phone. Then through the years the warranty has changed and the only thing they will do is replace the case. The price has gone up the quality has fell in the toilet through the sewer pipe and it's now gone through the septic tank. Every time I've ever ordered a new phone and a new case I have ordered the case and then the phone the next day. And usually I get them both delivered the same day. But lately, OtterBox is failing to send out their overpriced Junkie case. Now they won't even respond to emails or phone calls. You can find much better quality cases on the website that starts with an A or the store that starts with a w. I don't recommend OtterBox anymore and I will be looking for a different case for my new phone that is getting delivered today.

I have always owned an iPhone. I always purchased the Otterbox. Now I have the iPhone 14 Pro Max (since December). I purchased the Otterbox for this model. Now the front is not plastic, it is glass. To my knowledge, I have not dropped my phone; however, the back of my phone is 100% shattered (with the Otterbox on it)! I called Otterbox and they said, "We do not insure the phone, only the Otterbox. If your phone breaks, we cannot do anything." Are you out of your mind? My phone is very expensive and I "thought" the Otterbox would keep it safe. No Way! I will NEVER, EVER purchase an Otterbox again and I will tell everyone I know to stay away from Otterbox! Horrible company! I do not want to take off the case for a picture as my phone will fall to pieces, it is totally shattered! The only proof of purchase I have is on my bank statement which I will not put here.

Otterbox is at least 100% higher in price than cases at Walmart. Worse, if you make the mistake of ordering from the Otterbox website - watch out! When the case breaks, and it will, you must spend half a day going through 20 steps to send the case back to Otterbox just to get a replacement. No, you cannot just take a photo of their junk, you must ship it back to them. I "shipped" my broken Otterbox to the trash can and advise you to do the same. (J. Eric Fisk)

It's going on three weeks and my order direct from their website still has not arrived. I only live one state away from their headquarters, but because they used to slowest shipping option to save themselves a dollar or two, the package is taking forever. I could have just driven over there and picked it up in a few hours instead of waiting for weeks.

This compay has the worse products for IPhones they don't protect as good as when Lifeproof was here the change to Otto box has made the product very $#*!ty

After making a claim for a defender holster...they wanted to see the whole case...after back and forth sending them pictures...i just ordered one from Amazon

My case cracked. They sent me one under warranty. Cost was about $11.00. The case is so hard I can't push the buttons.

I have used otter box for all my phones for the last 15 years. Despite dropping my phone numerous times it never brouyot even cracked. Their customer service is outstanding!

I bought two OtterBox Defenders for our two new Samusung Galaxy S23 Ultras. Love them.

I also bought 2 Alpha Flex screen protectors for our pair of new phones.

The screen protectors were horrible. First, the screen protector was too short!?! How could they sell a product that didn't even fit the length of the screen it was to protect?

Second, it would not adhere properly.

Although we have experience installing screen protectors and a significant level of skill at such procedures, we could not get them to adhere properly to either of our phones.

Both have a lot of bubbles. No matter how much we used the included squeegees we couldn't get the film to lay down satisfactorily. It was clear that the product wasn't designed to fit the slightly curved edge of the 23 Ultra, because that is where most of the bubbles persist. Also, it never has adhered properly near the front facing camera cut out.

But that isn't the worst part. I called for a return/refund they said they would send me a mailing label within 24 hours. I was told they would waive the fee. Three days later it hadn't arrived.

I called back, was put on hold, then cut off.

I called back, asked to speak to a supervisor or some one who would stay on the line until I could confirm that I had received the email with the shipping label.

I was connected to a person who was unsympathetic,hostile and intransigent. Hardly a good fit for customer service supervision.

All I wanted was someone to make sure the email came through, but he refused. Also, he told me that the mailing label was not prepaid so I would have to pay to mail the product back even though I was told the fee would be waived.

So then, I thought, why am I doing on the hoop-jumping when it was their product that failed. It was they who promised a cost-free return label. It was they who insisted that I return the soon to be shredded screen protector before they refund the exorbitant price I paid.

Needless to say, the call devolved from there.

I will NEVER buy anything from OtterBox again. I urge anyone who reads this to do the same. The phone case market is highly competitive and OtterBox was once a leader in quality. No more...

I purchased my otterbox case less than 2 years ago with what was supposed to be a 7 year warranty from defects. I attempted to use said warranty only to be informed that my case was now discontinued. Their consolation, we will give you 15% off a new device case within the next calendar year. Thanks but that does nothing for me now. Otterbox officially sucks!

Awful company. Will never deal with them again costumer service is so poor. No one willing to take an responsibility just generic emails from a different person each time. Have asked to escalate my issue so many times yet nothing. Been giving the wrong addresses to return my item. They won't refund the monies they're saying it's their warehouse it went to in the Netherlands, yet it was returned to my home address and I was told it was the uk I needed to send it too. Which then cost me again! Never known a company like it. Where's your manager! What manager!

I had an otterbox case and then it broke! Even tho it said it's a titian! Otterbox has lied to me! Otterbox has lost its loyal customer!

Purchased an iPhone 14 folio case instead of an iPhone 14 Pro by mistake. I literally noticed the error when i'd clicked submit. I contacted the customer 'chat' to cancel the order. Filled in their cancel order form and was assured it would be fine. Within minutes... The order went from received to processing and dispatched in several hours. I wouldn't normally complain about efficiency, but why didn't the customer service chat operator assist further? On escalating the issue, I'd received the case delivery before the customer service even responded. One email even told me there is no order cancellation form... after screen shot provided, they told me the'd request to have this removed from the web site!
I've spend months with otterbox asking for a return freight con-note as I wasn't paying for the return. I never opened the FED-EX delivery bag.
In short - Otterbox gave the run around excuses of it's not otterbox policy. They have the case returned, refunded, but they won't reply / offer a credit for the return freight ~ return freight invoice provided. I feel the customer service side let down an efficient transaction. There needs to be more accountability for order cancelation moments after completion.

Horrible product. It will break and they will not uphold the warranty that it comes with. There are allot better and cheaper options out there. Don't waste your time and money.

The Otterbox Pro XT with Mag Safe is the most protective case I found for the iphone14 ProMax. I tried a competitor's screen protector and case, but the protection was not as secure. I did not have any issues putting screen protector on phone or placing my phone into the protective case. So glad I purchased Otterbox products.

Bought a odder box and one of the pieces is missing? I paid almost 60 dollars for something I can not use thanks for your help on this. NOT what help lol what a joke

Years ago (iphone 6 era or even earlier) I bought a light gray otter box that protected my phone for yrs. After multi falls. There was a definite rubber overlay on the front edge of my phone that I am sure protected the face/screen) It was awesome.
Finally had to buy a new phone (iphone 12) and the only otter box avail seemed to be nothing that would provide same front surface protection. The "Defender" is a joke. Just one drop and screen is cracked.

Soooo disappointed in the present otter box products.

On Friday the 27th of May 2022, I usually get a ride from my boss back home, but this day I got a ride from my co worker Chris. I don't like carrying my phone at work because well let's just say I've been rough on my phones in the past. I usually set it on the front seat of my bosses truck so it doesn't get tossed around and I remember it! I set it on the hood of Chros's truck with my lunch. Lunch came and left then I put my lunch in the back bed of his truck. And I remember asking Chris don't let me forget my phone, I don't want to have to get a new one! End of the day and once again I asked Chris not to let me forget my phone? Put my tools in the back lunch was there and some scrape peices that I planed to turn on my lythe. Jump in the truck and we drove about 3½ to 4 miles turned onto another hwy driving up the road and all of a sudden something hit his passenger side mirror! He asked what was that I replied, simply I don't know? Then he said " Your Phone "! Turned around and I almost lost it! I haven't even had this phone for a month! It's the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, it takes great pictures of anything, when the moon! So as I was saying we turned around and I saw the hard plastic case on the side of the road but not the phone? So we stopped I ran over and grabbed the cover, not a crack, not a scratch on it! But no phone around? So started walking in the direction it fell and there it was, fase now in a mixture of dead grass and dirt. After a quick sigh I picked it up expecting the worse! Then after I saw it nothing but amazement! The only thing that happened was a couple scuff marks on top and it cracked the screen protector! After I took the phone apart out of the Otterbox case the only other thing was some slight scratches on the sides of the phone! But I never even will take it out unless cleaning my phone or putting a new screen saver on or a different case!

I bought this case to protect my new iPhone. Otterbox did just the opposite. It damaged my phone. I have been buying Otterbox cases for years. This company has changed. I have heard they have started making their cases in China not the US anymore. First of all the case did not come with a screen protector like it used to. I read about the iPhone 12 screen being the hardest ever so I thought you did not need a screen protector. Wrong. My phone kept falling from the belt clip and getting lost. It damaged my phone from falling out of the belt holster. I went to make a call and couldn't find my phone. I got out of the vehicle and found it under my tire. If I hadn't just happened to make a call I would have run over my phone. It fell out of the belt holster again. This is the worst case I have ever owned. I do not recommend it at all.

This is the most garbage company, if I could leave negative starts it be a negative 100 I just bought a defender otter box and my phone feel for the 1st time from about 5 feet and my phones back shattered I called and all they could say it's sorry! A multimillion dollar company yet can't owned up to their garbage products performance I spent 1500$ on my iPhone now I have to go buy another one 60+$ for the case and 3000$ in phones in just 2 weeks I hope this company falls apart soon.
