Ordered all of my wedding items from stemware to personalized items we had to order two extra sets of champagne flutes because the original ones broke as we were taking them out to inspect them

I ordered 4 bags of Pastel Pink Sparkle Chocolate-Covered Almonds@ $10 each. Received quickly however when I opened it 75% of each bag was crushed and sum melted. I called up and explained what the problem was. They apologized and said we'll ship out 4 more bags to replace them. I thought great. Got those 4 bags... same thing. I went to leave review on website and it would not allow me to leave negative review. They won't let you leave any negative but truthful review. You can only leave a good review. Well my experience was not good so why can I not leave an honest review. That is very dishonest to me. How many other packages of candy have they sold and wouldn't allow people to leave honest reviews. They are pretty much lying to customers by with holding truthful feedback. I would not have ordered them had I read reviews like that but of course they know that.

I found the stuff I needed and was very pleased with their customer service, delivery, product quality and materials they sent me. The only problem is, because I live in Canada, I had to pay CDN $60.- to UPS for Customs and Duties and paid about USD $50.- for rush delivery to ensure my products arrive on time; other than that, very happy with my order and delivery. I will definitely order from them again but way ahead of time so I am not stressed about delivery date etc...

Will only ship to address of credit card, tried to ship to US address to save on shipping, they will not do it! It will cost be $45 extra plus exchange for a $50 order. NEVER order from them!

I will never order from this company again! They are horrible! My order was incorrect. I called the first time and they promised to fix it. Got the order and it was wrong again after customer service rep was so rude then they promised to do a next day delivery to the order that they messed up and that was last Wednesday 5/18/16 and I needed the item that Friday and today is Monday and I still have not received it! NEVER AGAIN! You guys SUCK!

I placed an order in the 4th and the delivery said arrival by the 12th. I kept checking the site to see if items had shipped and nothing. Finally five days later, I call customer service and they tell me that the items haven't shipped yet but that the delivery date says the 12th. I told the lady I did not want to chance it arriving late. She told me I can overnight it for 32.99. That was at 10 am in the morning. I get a message a 10:30 from customer service saying they need additional payment info bc PayPal doesn't allow for changes. I call them back at 1; 00 and give them the payment info. They tell me that my package won't ship until the next day and so will arrive in two days. I told them that it was poor customer service on their part to charge overnight which can be picked up by 3 and it really is two days -- she told me they need to process it. I told her they have been processing it since five days ago so that's would not be the issue. She told me she would do her best to find the package and try to ship it out overnight. Ten minutes later I get an email from the customer service director telling me that it is possible the package won't arrive for two days. Poor business practice and the last time I order from them -- been a loyal customer for years and will now stick to Rhode Island novelty.

One of my first online orders, I was ordering supplies for my daughters 13th birthday. I was working with 3 party supply sites. I found they had the highest prices of all 3, and it took 12 business days to get it... but I DID get it. To each their own but I won't order from them again. The other 2 companies I use regularly now and couldn't be more happy, that's the main reason I wont order... no love loss but they are really JUST AVERAGE.

I ordered on 4/18 a variety of items for my end-of-May wedding. Just to give some examples, the buttermints, personalized totes and a wedding cake topper (also personalized). My only qualms with them was their site didn't update the tracking information well - said half the items were coming in 1 shipment, the rest in another. Come 4/23, received one giant box with everything I ordered, the personalizations all correct, the items all correct and exactly as described. I am sure this company is like any other online company, as far as the ability to get the wrong items, have them take to long, etc. But I felt people should know, that isn't necessarily every time. I would do business with them again in a heartbeat.

I ordered over $300 worth of stuff for my vow renewal and everything was right except one thing. When I realized I was missing something, I called, spoke to a very nice woman who fixed it and had it shipped in 2 days. The personalized items were awesome and the prices were competitive.

They have been a charm to work with. I order stuff for my sister's babyshower. USPS lost the package and they worked with me to a replacement. Some stuff was out of stock so they sent me more expensive stuff free of charge. (overnight shipping. All Free!). The day they sent it out, USPS left a yellow sticker for me asking for postage. I called them back and they said they would refund the $9.60 once I get the package. It is more important for them that I get my original package. The next day, I went to the post office and it was an error that they needed postage. I got my original and the other package too.

The executives are a charm to work with and try their best to resolve your problem. All this for an order of just $50. Would recommend them 200%

Yesterday I received my large order for the Halloween party I'm throwing next weekend; oh man, I am SO EXCITED to put everything out and set everything up. It didn't cost me a fortune and everything looks awesome. Shipping was quick and I even had a coupon code.

I really like this site; especially, when I have a themed party to throw. Their prices are unbeatable. Since I have found them, I won't shop at partycity anymore. I knocked off 1 star because sometimes I find their product quality to be a little cheaper than expected.

Used to love their items and their fast shipping but can't believe their business practices. Just placed an order and was never told that part of the order was sold out until I got the confirmation email. I would not have ordered the other items if they would have told me that part of the order is not available. But the most unbelievable thing is that they charged me for the full order, even the item that's sold out. Now I have to spend additional time having them fix their mistake! What a scam to not inform people about the status of the order, I feel like the want to dupe you into placing the order even if they can't fulfill all of it!

-- Generally lowest prices on party supplies.
-- Customer service is awesome, even the web based "chat support" is extremely helpful

CONS:
-- Shipping prices tend to be a bit hefty (in my opinion).
-- "Order Processing" takes forever.
-- Website does not accurately update/reflect order status.

Bottom line, great site overall. However, when ordering from OT, ensure that you have ample time to wait for the items since the processing takes forever and you will not be able to accurately track the order status without calling them. IF you DO decide to order from OT and have time constraints, rush delivery is an absolute must!

The website itself was awesome. The products though, are cheap. I knew this ahead of time. I did my research before I ordered my sand ceremony kit from them and most reviews said they were perfect. The etching was a little hard to read on the glass and was so sharp it looked like it could hurt someone. All in all I was satisfied with every aspect of ordering through them. All my other items were perfect. Just be wary of the sand ceremony vases.

My daughters birthday is 2 weeks away and I couldn't find any local stores carrying carnival decorations, so I called oriental trading and they said if I paid the most expensive shipping (65$) it would definitely be here within the week, so I placed my order and went to bed. In the AM I received an email saying there were shipping restrictions so they cancelled my order and didn't charge me. I called to ask what they couldn't ship so I could order the rest, during the conversation the lady tells me "it doesn't matter which shipping I choose and pay for, it'll take the same amount of time (2 weeks)" so why did I pay $65 for "express"?

I say not to worry about reordering and decide to find somewhere else, later on that day $200 leaves my bank account, so I call and ask them to return it since they cancelled the order and told me they wouldn't charge me. They tell me it'll be back in my account in 3-5 days.

What a joke, I now don't even have the money in my account to buy local decorations. I'm beyond upset, this is hands down the worst company I've ever dealt with and I will never order from them again. Save yourself the hassle and find a better website that won't screw you over for your events.
