I was charged 14.95 just now. And I haven't even used them. In fact I never heard of these people. I had to Google these people to find out who they were.
This website is awesome has a lot of the unique items I am looking for plus they have promo codes and free shipping and beat some of the other sites I was looking at! I had a little issue and CSR offered to refund me for the item and keep it and/or have a certificate, but I just kept item as some of their stuff comes from other suppliers or stores and the issue would come the same so they were very nice and the resolution provided was great. I have been wanting to order from here for years and finally got to do it on my favorited items :p
I usually like the items I order from here but recently placed an order and somehow got signed up for fun rewards which charged me $14.95 a month for a subscription. I really hate it when companies do sneaky things like that. I am sure it was somewhere in the fine print but it's shady. I am going to look elsewhere for my next purchase. I ordered from there every couple of months but this recent charge definitely lost them a once loyal customer.
First purchase and FOR SURE the last one! Since last month saying they will place my order and STILL NOTHING!, today they said it in on hold!
YES! Because I did not read the very small print, and because I got free shipping... I was automatically enrolled in a program that did even closely resemble the name of the company! I was charged $14.99 for a program called fun rewards! It took a bit of sleuthing to trace it back to the oriental trading company! I had them remove the charge, but the way they did it was insidious, they waited a few weeks after the delivery of the item, they did not contact me alerting me to the charge that was from the company. AND THE NAME OF THE CHARGE ON MY CREDIT CARD WAS NOT oriental trading company, get it? They hope you will not notice the charge. I got the impression that they were expecting my call because they get this call all the time. The lady did not argue NOR did she ask any questions about the fun rewards program, she simply processed my refund after I asked for it.
So i bought the 6 foot mando poster for a co worker that was leaving.
#1 it was NOT 6 feet! It was more like 5feet 10 inches and HELL YES, if you sell it as 6 feet, I want my fricking 6 feet!
But folks thats not the worst from these jerks, today I see a 14.95 charge from a company called fun rewards program!. Guess who that is... right its oriental trading company and if you buy anything from them ( it wont be as problem for me again) they automatically sign you up for the fun rewards program! Its $14.95 and they use the credit cad YOU used to buy from them. No warning... no email... just 1 month after you place an orde... BOOM. You have signed up for the fun rewards program. And the lady had the nerve to make me give all my info before she would cancel and refund my money. I could tell she gets these calls ALL THE TIME.
I bought the totes and found they were too big. When I returned it and it cost me $35 for the shipping fee becuase I used their origional box. It was unpleasant to pay the shipping fee on my own.
I ordered 720 personalized mini flting disk for a parade. They arrived 5 days before the parade. They sent packets of stickers with my shop name and town on it for me to attach myself. The space was limited so I had to abbreviate my town name. My town is 3 words long with the middle word 'du' They instead put the middle word 'de' (I checked to make sure I sent the correct spelling.) This is huge because the name is already abbreviated... which was barely passible as it was. Now it wasn't recongnizable. So I messaged them and ask that they send new stickers within the next 4 days so I would have the correct items and have something for the parade. They basically said no... but I can take time out of my crazy schedule and send the items back for a refund. This was completely their fault yet they didn't care one bit. Now I have to find a way to get some personalized items for a big marketing event in 4 days. SO done with Oriental Trade!
I bought the graduation banner for my son in April 2021 it cost me $45.89 plus taxes and it was the worst thing I ever bought because in the website shows it on the grass but is too heavy and it doesn't have the holes on each corner to be able to tied it up to the stick or stakes. Maybe it's good if you want to nail it to the wall or staple to the wall also it was hard to find the stakes for it and like you see in the picture I had to put one in the middle to hold it but still it looks very ugly.
Purchased the 10$ oversized soccar ball for my 5 year old son for Easter and after inflating it on the night before it was not only egg shaped, IT WAS DEFLATED 30 MINUTES LATER! Order arrived before date specified but I'm out of a replacement present as Easter is tmrw. No time for replacement present.
I Bought The 10LB Mega Shell Assortment to use in craft projects thinking buy their picture of Colorful shells, that would be what I received. NOT THE CASE, Over 5lbs of the shells were solid white, about so shells were broken, I returned them & they told me it would take TWO weeks to issue me a refund! They are a SORRY Company.

Only "after" you receive the "Not as Described" & "Not as Pictured" Gummy Mermaids & want to either Return them or Throw them away, do you find out, after calling their Customer Dis-service number, that "buried" 4 levels Down, on their Website, difficult to Find, & in Tiny print, that there are "NO CANDY REFUNDS"! NOT on their page where you "ordered" the candy from, NOT on their page with Product Details, NOT on their page with Questions & Answers & NOT on their page with Reviews, because there are None! IF this company wants to be as HONEST as they "PRETEND" to be then, they would put their "NO CANDY REFUNDS" policy on the SAME page as Everything else! I WOULD NOT FEED THIS GARBAGE TO MY DOGS!
I recently purchased from OT. I would seriously look else wear or make sure you ask Every question. They send me 12 stone cross necklaces. Almost all were black, some were white. Super short leather necklace... Oh well - you will get what you pay for! Check them out closely!
I paid extra for two-day delivery, which would have been today. Now I have been notified that delivery will take at least 4 days, so I will be receiving it too late.
I placed an order a few months back for some water bottle labels for my wedding this coming year. I was charged how I should have been, and then a day later I get a call saying they weren't doing my order... no explanation. So I waited a few months, thinking that maybe the stock or something wasn't there. So I placed my order a week ago, got the package yesterday and the 250 labels I purchased to be personalized were completely wrong. I customized them to read mine and my fiance's name and the date of our wedding in a brown color. When I opened the box, all of the labels only had the word "and" and a black line. Completely wrong and not what I had paid for. Who would order 250 blank water bottle labels? Did they think I wanted to "write" in the names on every single one? I immediately called customer support and told him I would like my money back... to sum up the rest he tried to tell me I HAD to pay for my return shipping label! I put my foot down and said I am NOT paying for the return label. He found a way to waive the $6.99 shipping charge and they are refunding me for my order minus the $25.00 shipping fee. Terrible experience and will never be ordering from this company ever again.
I bought some things from this website about two weeks before my son's first birthday party. The package stated it was delivered but never actually made it to my home. As a mother who is throwing a birthday party in now 3 days... I contacted them and they re shipped my item for delivery before the Saturday party! Oriental trading not only saved this momma's sanity, but saved a birthday party! 10/10 recommend to anybody and everybody!
Instead of using PayPal I disclosed my credit card info and just 2 days after my credit card was used on 3 different online sites with a total of $600. This is very suspicious because this was the only company that I gave my credit card info to including billing address and CSV/expiration date. When I referred to their website below is what I see and it clearly says that our information can only be read by their Customer Service Department. Right now I am dealing with credit card disputes... Is your Customer Service Department qualified enough to handle such a confidential information? Did they pass background checks to be able to handle confidential info?

Ordered fr them for a Christmas party and decided to pay for expedited shipping for 12/12.12/12 came, nothing was delivered.
Checked tracking and showed 12/13. Then tracking showed out for delivery at 1009am on 12/13. By 8pm, 12/13, nothing. Called n Oriental trading Customer Svc basically tells u, "thank u for yr money but ultimately, it's not their problem, they are not the carrier for delivery". You paid for expedited shipping? That means nothing, it's on their site as a joke! Customer disappointed or upset? Oh, d mighty Oriental Trading Customer Svc will refund you the shipping cost or they will issue a $25 store certificate?!?!
First, save the $25 crap, never buying from them again. Then suggested I go call UPS?
Fine, called them. UPS said Xmas Season, drivers work late, stay up till midnight and wait pls n call back again if nothing is delivered. Of course, nothing was delivered and tracking miraculously changed from "out for delivery" on 12/13, to "in transit" on 12/13, to now, "Monday, end of day 12/16, cos UPS San Jose Hub opens 5 days a week?!
This is a nightmare. Unless you don't care much about whatever you are purchasing from them, else, NEVER trust them as a supplier for parties or important events.
Even when Oriental Trading doesn't deliver even if you pay for expedited shipping, no worries, they have a just as inefficient carrier who doubles down, and ensures whatever you have planned is a failure!
If you are looking for items that are not in stock then this place never has what you want in stock. Ordered something and a week later get an email telling me it's out of stock. Do not waste your time. Mickey Mouse operations.

Answer: It usually gives an estimate date of arrival. You can also pay (I think) for express shipping to come earlier than the estimate date.
